無量壽經介紹 佛說無量壽經原文及譯文(四)

摘要:《無量壽經》全稱《佛說無量壽經》,亦稱《大阿彌陀經》(參閱漢譯版本),是凈土宗的基本經典之一,為“凈土五經一論”中的一經,凈土宗的大部分修行方法均可在該經中找到理論依據。經中介紹阿彌陀佛(無量壽佛)所發諸大愿(依版本不同而數量不一,最多為四十八愿),建立彌陀凈土接引十方世界眾生,以及彌陀凈土的大概樣貌,下面請看無量壽經第三十一至四十的原文及譯文。

第三十一至第四十品

真實(shi)功德第(di)三(san)十一(yi)

【原文】其智宏深,譬如巨海;菩(pu)提高廣,喻若(ruo)(ruo)須彌;自身威光,超于(yu)日(ri)月;其心(xin)潔(jie)白(bai),猶(you)如雪山;忍辱如地,一(yi)切(qie)平等(deng);清(qing)凈(jing)如水,洗諸(zhu)塵垢;熾盛(sheng)如火,燒煩惱薪;不著(zhu)如風,無(wu)諸(zhu)障礙。法(fa)音雷震(zhen),覺未覺故(gu);雨甘露法(fa),潤眾(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)故(gu);曠(kuang)若(ruo)(ruo)虛空,大(da)慈等(deng)故(gu);如凈(jing)蓮華,離(li)染污(wu)故(gu);如尼(ni)拘樹,覆蔭大(da)故(gu);如金剛(gang)杵(chu),破(po)邪執故(gu);如鐵圍山,眾(zhong)(zhong)魔外道不能動(dong)故(gu)。其心(xin)正直,善巧(qiao)決定;論法(fa)無(wu)厭,求法(fa)不倦;戒若(ruo)(ruo)琉(liu)璃,內外明(ming)(ming)潔(jie);其所言說,令眾(zhong)(zhong)悅(yue)服。擊法(fa)鼓,建法(fa)幢,曜慧日(ri),破(po)癡暗。淳凈(jing)溫(wen)和,寂(ji)定明(ming)(ming)察。為大(da)導師,調(diao)伏自他。引導群(qun)生(sheng)(sheng),舍諸(zhu)愛著(zhu)。永離(li)三(san)垢,游(you)戲神通。因緣愿力,出生(sheng)(sheng)善根。摧伏一(yi)切(qie)魔軍,尊重(zhong)奉事(shi)諸(zhu)佛。為世(shi)明(ming)(ming)燈,最勝福田,殊勝吉祥,堪受(shou)供養(yang)。赫奕歡喜(xi),雄(xiong)猛無(wu)畏。身色相好,功(gong)德(de)辯(bian)才,具足莊嚴,無(wu)與等(deng)者(zhe)(zhe)。常(chang)為諸(zhu)佛所共稱贊。究竟菩(pu)薩諸(zhu)波羅蜜,而常(chang)安(an)住不生(sheng)(sheng)不滅(mie)諸(zhu)三(san)摩地。行遍道場(chang),遠二乘境。阿難,我今略說彼極樂界,所生(sheng)(sheng)菩(pu)薩,真實功(gong)德(de),悉(xi)皆(jie)如是。若(ruo)(ruo)廣說者(zhe)(zhe),百千萬(wan)劫不能窮盡(jin)。

【譯文】極樂世(shi)界(jie)(jie)菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)智(zhi)慧(hui)宏大(da)(da)(da)(da)(da)深廣,猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)大(da)(da)(da)(da)(da)海;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)提覺悟的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)高(gao)廣宏大(da)(da)(da)(da)(da),有(you)如(ru)(ru)妙高(gao)山(shan);菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)自身顯發的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)威嚴(yan)之(zhi)光,超過了太陽和月(yue)亮;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)心(xin)境(jing)(jing)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)潔凈(jing)(jing)無(wu)(wu)(wu)垢,又(you)像那(nei)潔白的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)大(da)(da)(da)(da)(da)雪山(shan);菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)忍受侮(wu)辱的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)精神,與那(nei)默默承負一切(qie)(qie)重荷的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)大(da)(da)(da)(da)(da)地(di)一樣:大(da)(da)(da)(da)(da)地(di)載物不(bu)(bu)(bu)分輕(qing)重,菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)度人也(ye)(ye)不(bu)(bu)(bu)分親疏(shu);菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)清凈(jing)(jing)境(jing)(jing)界(jie)(jie),可(ke)與除塵洗(xi)垢的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)清水相比:清水溪流可(ke)洗(xi)世(shi)塵,菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)清凈(jing)(jing)可(ke)洗(xi)心(xin)塵;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)智(zhi)慧(hui)熾(chi)盛,如(ru)(ru)同(tong)(tong)(tong)火焰:智(zhi)慧(hui)之(zhi)火燒盡煩(fan)惱之(zhi)薪柴;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)不(bu)(bu)(bu)執著(zhu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)品性如(ru)(ru)同(tong)(tong)(tong)大(da)(da)(da)(da)(da)風(feng)(feng):風(feng)(feng)拂世(shi)界(jie)(jie),無(wu)(wu)(wu)所(suo)不(bu)(bu)(bu)到,菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)行遍世(shi)界(jie)(jie),自由自在而(er)(er)無(wu)(wu)(wu)所(suo)障礙;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)宣講傳(chuan)布的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)法(fa)大(da)(da)(da)(da)(da)音,加同(tong)(tong)(tong)雷聲(sheng)遠達,震醒了世(shi)間癡迷(mi)而(er)(er)未覺悟之(zhi)人;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)教法(fa)猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)甘(gan)露:甘(gan)露滋潤(run)大(da)(da)(da)(da)(da)地(di)萬物,佛(fo)法(fa)滋潤(run)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)心(xin)靈;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)平等慈悲(bei)猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)虛(xu)空:虛(xu)空廣大(da)(da)(da)(da)(da)無(wu)(wu)(wu)邊(bian)無(wu)(wu)(wu)際,菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)慈悲(bei)也(ye)(ye)無(wu)(wu)(wu)邊(bian)無(wu)(wu)(wu)際蔭庇(bi)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng);菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)品格猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)白蓮(lian)(lian):蓮(lian)(lian)花(hua)不(bu)(bu)(bu)離污泥但又(you)出污泥而(er)(er)不(bu)(bu)(bu)染(ran),菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)不(bu)(bu)(bu)舍眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng),但身處濁(zhuo)世(shi)穢土而(er)(er)仍然清凈(jing)(jing);菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)胸(xiong)懷(huai)(huai)猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)尼(ni)枸樹:尼(ni)枸樹寬闊(kuo)而(er)(er)遮陽蔽(bi)日(ri),菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)胸(xiong)懷(huai)(huai)也(ye)(ye)能(neng)(neng)蔭庇(bi)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng);菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)銳利猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)金(jin)剛杵(chu):金(jin)剛杵(chu)能(neng)(neng)摧(cui)毀一切(qie)(qie)鎧甲,菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)般若妙智(zhi)也(ye)(ye)能(neng)(neng)退;切(qie)(qie)煩(fan)惱魔軍;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)堅強猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)鐵圍(wei)山(shan):鐵圍(wei)山(shan)堅固不(bu)(bu)(bu)為一切(qie)(qie)所(suo)摧(cui),菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)堅強,也(ye)(ye)不(bu)(bu)(bu)為眾(zhong)魔外(wai)道所(suo)動搖。

極樂世界(jie)菩薩(sa)之(zhi)心(xin)(xin),方廣平正;順(shun)遂(sui)機(ji)宜(yi),巧行(xing)權便(bian),講論佛(fo)經從不(bu)(bu)(bu)生(sheng)厭,追求(qiu)佛(fo)法不(bu)(bu)(bu)知疲倦;持(chi)戒凈潔,譬如(ru)琉璃清徹;心(xin)(xin)意行(xing)動(dong),光明(ming)磊落(luo),明(ming)鑒表里;菩薩(sa)們(men)所說之(zhi)法,使大家心(xin)(xin)悅誠(cheng)服(fu);法音(yin)震響,猶(you)如(ru)擊(ji)鼓;威(wei)德摧邪,猶(you)如(ru)建(jian)法之(zhi)幢;智(zhi)慧照(zhao)迷(mi),猶(you)如(ru)燦爛(lan)太陽。破除無明(ming)造(zao)成的(de)(de)癡惑,建(jian)成無貪無求(qiu)的(de)(de)淳靜心(xin)(xin)境;其禪定(ding)智(zhi)慧溫和,纖毫明(ming)察,能入實際之(zhi)理(li)體。作為大導師,調伏抑制自己(ji)和他人的(de)(de)不(bu)(bu)(bu)安之(zhi)心(xin)(xin)。引導群生(sheng),舍離拋棄諸多愛(ai)欲物著,永遠(yuan)離開貪、瞋、癡三種污垢,運任游戲(xi)于神通(tong)之(zhi)中(zhong)。

極(ji)樂(le)世界的(de)菩薩(sa)(sa)們(men)因(yin)為過去所修(xiu)之善(shan)的(de)因(yin)緣力,積(ji)累功德(de)生(sheng)出(chu)牢不可破的(de)堅(jian)固(gu)善(shan)心(xin),摧毀和(he)降伏(fu)一切(qie)惡魔大軍。尊重待奉(feng)諸佛(fo);成為照(zhao)耀世界的(de)明燈(deng);得世間眾(zhong)生(sheng)供(gong)養,成為世間眾(zhong)生(sheng)最好的(de)福田。菩薩(sa)(sa)們(men)具(ju)有文殊大士那樣的(de)智德(de),堪受一切(qie)有情供(gong)養。他們(men)威光顯赫(he),神采奕(yi)奕(yi),面貌和(he)悅,內(nei)心(xin)歡喜,雄健(jian)勇猛,無(wu)畏無(wu)懼,其音容相貌非同一般,又有無(wu)量的(de)功德(de)和(he)無(wu)礙的(de)雄辯才能莊嚴其身,如此種種,實(shi)在(zai)找不到能與(yu)之媲美的(de)了。

“西方極樂(le)世界的(de)菩(pu)薩(sa)們時時得到諸佛(fo)的(de)共同(tong)稱贊(zan),他們探(tan)究完成諸菩(pu)薩(sa)該(gai)修的(de)覺悟,而(er)永遠(yuan)處(chu)于不生不滅(mie)的(de)涅盤正定的(de)狀態,在(zai)(zai)一(yi)切(qie)道場中遍修所有功行,遠(yuan)遠(yuan)超(chao)離(li)聲(sheng)聞、緣覺二乘的(de)境界。阿難!我(wo)現在(zai)(zai)只是略(lve)略(lve)提一(yi)下,那極樂(le)世界中菩(pu)薩(sa)們的(de)真實功德,大體上如我(wo)以上所說,但若要廣(guang)泛和詳(xiang)細(xi)地介(jie)紹,即使說上百千萬個時劫也難以說完呢(ni)!”

壽樂無(wu)極第三十二(er)

【原文】佛(fo)告彌(mi)勒菩薩(sa)、諸天人(ren)等(deng):無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)量壽國,聲(sheng)聞菩薩(sa),功(gong)德智慧,不(bu)可稱說。又(you)其國土微妙安樂(le)(le),清凈(jing)若此。何(he)(he)不(bu)力為善,念道(dao)之(zhi)自然(ran)(ran)(ran)(ran)。出入供養,觀經行(xing)道(dao)。喜樂(le)(le)久習,才(cai)猛智慧。心不(bu)中回,意無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)懈(xie)時。外若遲緩,內獨駛急(ji)。容(rong)容(rong)虛空(kong),適得其中。中表相(xiang)應,自然(ran)(ran)(ran)(ran)嚴(yan)整。檢斂端直,身心潔凈(jing)。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)愛貪,志愿安定(ding)。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)增(zeng)缺減(jian),求(qiu)道(dao)和正。不(bu)誤(wu)傾邪(xie),隨經約令。不(bu)敢蹉(cuo)跌,若于(yu)繩墨。咸為道(dao)慕,曠無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)他念。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)憂思,自然(ran)(ran)(ran)(ran)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)為。虛空(kong)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)立,淡安無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)欲。作得善愿,盡心求(qiu)索(suo)。含(han)哀(ai)慈愍(min),禮義都合。苞羅(luo)表里,過度解脫。自然(ran)(ran)(ran)(ran)保(bao)守(shou),真真潔白。志愿無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)上,凈(jing)定(ding)安樂(le)(le)。一旦(dan)開(kai)達明徹,自然(ran)(ran)(ran)(ran)中自然(ran)(ran)(ran)(ran)相(xiang),自然(ran)(ran)(ran)(ran)之(zhi)有(you)(you)根(gen)本,自然(ran)(ran)(ran)(ran)光色參(can)回,轉變(bian)最勝。郁單成七寶,橫(heng)攬(lan)成萬物。光精明俱出,善好殊無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)比。著于(yu)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)上下(xia),洞達無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)邊際。宜各勤精進,努(nu)力自求(qiu)之(zhi)。必得超絕去,往生無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)量清凈(jing)阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)國。橫(heng)截于(yu)五趣,惡道(dao)自閉塞(sai)。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)極之(zhi)勝道(dao),易(yi)往而無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)人(ren)。其國不(bu)逆違(wei),自然(ran)(ran)(ran)(ran)所牽隨。捐志若虛空(kong),勤行(xing)求(qiu)道(dao)德。可得極長生,壽樂(le)(le)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)極。何(he)(he)為著世(shi)事,譊譊憂無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)常。

【譯文】釋(shi)加牟尼(ni)佛又(you)轉而對彌(mi)勒(le)菩薩和諸在座的天人(ren)等說道:“無(wu)量(liang)壽佛國中的聲(sheng)聞、菩薩功德智慧無(wu)量(liang),是沒有(you)辦法表述得清(qing)的。還有(you),其國土(tu)(tu)如此微妙,安樂(le)和清(qing)凈,你(ni)們為什(shen)么不勉力行善,又(you)以(yi)所積累的善功德回向(xiang)凈土(tu)(tu),自然生(sheng)(sheng)發往生(sheng)(sheng)凈土(tu)(tu)之念,由念引導而往生(sheng)(sheng)極樂(le)世界呢(ni)?

“極樂世(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)的(de)(de)(de)菩薩、聲聞(wen)等會(hui)(hui)眾,出(chu)入于十方世(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)供養諸佛,閱讀(du)藏經,修行佛事(shi),皆(jie)樂于長久如此(ci)。他(ta)(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)才能(neng)(neng)(neng)超世(shi)(shi),智慧(hui)圓(yuan)融,心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)中(zhong)(zhong)沒有(you)(you)退轉的(de)(de)(de)念(nian)(nian)頭(tou),意(yi)志(zhi)(zhi)沒有(you)(you)片刻懈怠放逸;外表(biao)看(kan)去(qu)安閑沉穩,內(nei)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)卻急速地精進不(bu)(bu)已(yi)。心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)同于虛空(kong)(kong),沒有(you)(you)一(yi)物而(er)又(you)(you)能(neng)(neng)(neng)容下萬(wan)物,沒有(you)(you)邊(bian)際而(er)又(you)(you)能(neng)(neng)(neng)建(jian)立凈(jing)(jing)土(tu),非(fei)(fei)空(kong)(kong)非(fei)(fei)有(you)(you),適(shi)得不(bu)(bu)落兩(liang)邊(bian)的(de)(de)(de)中(zhong)(zhong)道。聲聞(wen)、菩薩們(men)(men)適(shi)得中(zhong)(zhong)道之(zhi)內(nei)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin),顯(xian)示在(zai)表(biao)情上,表(biao)里(li)相映(ying)煥然(ran)(ran)成(cheng)輝(hui),自然(ran)(ran)而(er)又(you)(you)嚴整;檢(jian)束身(shen)體的(de)(de)(de)姿態表(biao)情,收斂心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)中(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)思維(wei)意(yi)念(nian)(nian);外表(biao)端莊,內(nei)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)正直,身(shen)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)潔凈(jing)(jing),沒有(you)(you)愛(ai)欲(yu)貪(tan)染(ran)(ran);他(ta)(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)志(zhi)(zhi)向(xiang)誓(shi)愿,堅定(ding)不(bu)(bu)移而(er)無(wu)些微缺減;他(ta)(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)所追求(qiu)(qiu)的(de)(de)(de)大道,平和(he)中(zhong)(zhong)正,永不(bu)(bu)會(hui)(hui)誤(wu)入狹路(lu)以至邪道;他(ta)(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)隨順經中(zhong)(zhong)言和(he)戒律(lv),自覺接受約束規(gui)定(ding),不(bu)(bu)敢放逸而(er)失足逾界(jie)(jie),有(you)(you)如木工操作遵循(xun)墨線,循(xun)規(gui)蹈矩;他(ta)(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)所企慕,皆(jie)是(shi)正真至道,沒有(you)(you)其他(ta)(ta)(ta)(ta)妄念(nian)(nian)雜(za)念(nian)(nian)拂亂,沒有(you)(you)什(shen)么憂慮之(zhi)思干擾;他(ta)(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)自然(ran)(ran)安住于無(wu)為法中(zhong)(zhong),心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)志(zhi)(zhi)有(you)(you)如虛空(kong)(kong)無(wu)有(you)(you)一(yi)物,淡泊安寧不(bu)(bu)染(ran)(ran)物欲(yu);以此(ci)結(jie)成(cheng)大愿,盡心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)盡力地前去(qu)求(qiu)(qiu)索。再者(zhe),這些極樂世(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)的(de)(de)(de)會(hui)(hui)眾心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)懷慈悲哀憫,契合(he)世(shi)(shi)間道德(de),融洽現象本(ben)質(zhi),自度度他(ta)(ta)(ta)(ta),均得解脫生(sheng)死。他(ta)(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)任(ren)運(yun)自然(ran)(ran),保守(shou)本(ben)來(lai)善性潔白(bai)無(wu)染(ran)(ran),志(zhi)(zhi)向(xiang)愿心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)甚(shen)為高尚,住于寂定(ding)而(er)安然(ran)(ran)自適(shi),日積月(yue)累,便能(neng)(neng)(neng)在(zai)一(yi)旦之(zhi)中(zhong)(zhong)毫不(bu)(bu)勉強地契合(he)自然(ran)(ran)實(shi)相,把(ba)握根(gen)本(ben)的(de)(de)(de)道理。這些聲聞(wen)、菩薩之(zhi)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)如同神奇珍寶,自然(ran)(ran)之(zhi)光和(he)自然(ran)(ran)之(zhi)色相互滲入、回轉變化,超過十方的(de)(de)(de)眾寶。北(bei)方大洲自然(ran)(ran)生(sheng)出(chu)七(qi)寶,橫空(kong)(kong)中(zhong)(zhong)自然(ran)(ran)涌現出(chu)萬(wan)物,光明(ming)(ming)、精妙、明(ming)(ming)凈(jing)(jing)齊顯(xian)并(bing)現,諸善眾好,無(wu)與(yu)倫比,皆(jie)由極樂世(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)會(hui)(hui)眾的(de)(de)(de)凈(jing)(jing)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)生(sheng)出(chu)。他(ta)(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)智慧(hui)明(ming)(ming)證理體無(wu)有(you)(you)高下,洞達事(shi)相沒有(you)(you)邊(bian)際。”

釋迦(jia)牟尼佛介紹極(ji)(ji)(ji)樂(le)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)人(ren)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)功德智(zhi)慧,又(you)為(wei)喚(huan)醒法會(hui)大(da)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)說:“你們應各自(zi)精進勤(qin)修(xiu),努力(li)自(zi)求真如(ru)本(ben)心,必得(de)超脫輪回,斷除生(sheng)死,往生(sheng)到(dao)(dao)無(wu)量清凈(jing)(jing)(jing)的(de)(de)阿彌(mi)陀(tuo)佛凈(jing)(jing)(jing)土(tu)。到(dao)(dao)那時,頓(dun)舍(she)娑婆世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)五(wu)道輪回,諸多(duo)惡道之門自(zi)然關閉;這凈(jing)(jing)(jing)土(tu)法門是最(zui)勝之道,雖(sui)然易得(de)往生(sheng),可(ke)穢土(tu)修(xiu)行(xing)的(de)(de)人(ren)卻很少(shao)。十方(fang)無(wu)窮(qiong)極(ji)(ji)(ji)的(de)(de)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)得(de)益(yi)于佛國毫無(wu)逆違往生(sheng)的(de)(de)性質(zhi)(另(ling)一(yi)(yi)解釋:西方(fang)凈(jing)(jing)(jing)土(tu)敞(chang)開大(da)門,攝受接納十方(fang)一(yi)(yi)切(qie)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng),然而,娑婆眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)久在(zai)煩惱(nao)纏縛之中,貪戀世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)樂(le),不生(sheng)厭離,陷(xian)于自(zi)身結構性的(de)(de)困(kun)境(jing),焉(yan)得(de)往生(sheng)?)。大(da)家捐除煩惱(nao),其志應如(ru)虛空,凈(jing)(jing)(jing)無(wu)垢(gou)染,勤(qin)奮修(xiu)行(xing),進道增德,便可(ke)以在(zai)凈(jing)(jing)(jing)土(tu)獲得(de)長生(sheng)不老,和極(ji)(ji)(ji)樂(le)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)人(ren)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)一(yi)(yi)樣(yang)長壽安樂(le),生(sheng)命無(wu)有極(ji)(ji)(ji)限。既如(ru)此,為(wei)什(shen)么(me)還要貪著世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間俗事俗利,沒完沒了地憂慮,為(wei)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間無(wu)常(chang)所折磨呢?”

勸諭策進第(di)三(san)十三(san)

【原文】世人共爭(zheng)不(bu)急(ji)之務,于(yu)此劇惡極苦之中,勤身(shen)營務,以自給濟(ji)。尊卑、貧富(fu)、少長、男女,累(lei)念(nian)積(ji)慮,為心走使(shi)。無(wu)(wu)田(tian)憂田(tian),無(wu)(wu)宅憂宅,眷(juan)屬財物,有(you)無(wu)(wu)同憂。有(you)一少一,思欲(yu)齊等,適小(xiao)具有(you),又憂非常。水(shui)火(huo)盜賊,怨家債主,焚漂劫(jie)奪,消散磨滅(mie)。心慳意固,無(wu)(wu)能(neng)縱舍。

命終棄捐,莫誰(shui)隨者。貧富同然,憂苦萬(wan)端。

世(shi)間(jian)人民,父子兄弟夫婦親屬,當相(xiang)(xiang)敬愛,無相(xiang)(xiang)憎嫉(ji)。有無相(xiang)(xiang)通(tong),無得貪惜。言(yan)色常和,莫(mo)相(xiang)(xiang)違戾。或時(shi)心諍,有所(suo)恚(hui)怒。后世(shi)轉(zhuan)劇,至成大怨。世(shi)間(jian)之(zhi)事,更(geng)相(xiang)(xiang)患害,雖(sui)不臨時(shi),應急想破。

人在愛欲之中,獨生(sheng)獨死(si),獨去獨來,苦樂自(zi)當,無有代者。善惡變化,追逐所生(sheng),道路不(bu)同,會見無期。何不(bu)于強健時(shi),努力(li)修善,欲何待(dai)乎?

世人(ren)(ren)善惡自(zi)不(bu)能見(jian),吉兇(xiong)禍福,競各(ge)(ge)作之。身愚神(shen)暗(an),轉受(shou)余(yu)教。顛倒相續,無常(chang)根本(ben)。蒙(meng)冥抵突,不(bu)信經法。心無遠慮,各(ge)(ge)欲快意。迷于瞋恚(hui),貪(tan)于財色。終不(bu)休止,哀哉可(ke)傷!先人(ren)(ren)不(bu)善,不(bu)識道德,無有語者,殊無怪也。

死生(sheng)之(zhi)趣(qu),善(shan)惡之(zhi)道(dao),都不(bu)(bu)之(zhi)信,謂無有是。更(geng)相(xiang)瞻(zhan)視,且(qie)自(zi)見之(zhi)。或(huo)父哭子(zi),或(huo)子(zi)哭父,兄(xiong)弟夫婦,更(geng)相(xiang)哭泣。一(yi)死一(yi)生(sheng),迭相(xiang)顧戀。憂(you)愛結(jie)縛,無有解時。思想恩(en)好,不(bu)(bu)離情欲。不(bu)(bu)能深思熟計,專(zhuan)精行道(dao)。年壽旋盡,無可(ke)奈何。

惑道者眾(zhong),悟道者少(shao)。各(ge)懷殺毒,惡(e)氣冥冥。為妄興(xing)事,違逆天地。恣意罪極,頓奪(duo)其壽(shou)。下(xia)入(ru)惡(e)道,無有出(chu)期。

若曹當(dang)熟思計,遠離眾惡。擇其善(shan)者(zhe),勤而(er)行(xing)之。愛欲榮華,不可常保,皆當(dang)別離,無可樂者(zhe)。當(dang)勤精進,生安樂國。智慧明達,功德殊勝。勿得隨心所欲,虧負經戒,在人后也。

【譯文】“世(shi)間(jian)(jian)的(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)(ren)們都(dou)在(zai)計較那瑣細(xi)無(wu)益的(de)(de)世(shi)利俗務,在(zai)此苦(ku)痛不(bu)堪的(de)(de)五惡世(shi)間(jian)(jian),辛勤勞作,經營(ying)生計,以求(qiu)自給,于(yu)苦(ku)中(zhong)求(qiu)快樂;世(shi)間(jian)(jian)蕓蕓眾生中(zhong),無(wu)論大人(ren)(ren)(ren)物(wu)或(huo)小(xiao)人(ren)(ren)(ren)物(wu),富人(ren)(ren)(ren)或(huo)窮人(ren)(ren)(ren),少年或(huo)老(lao)人(ren)(ren)(ren),男(nan)人(ren)(ren)(ren)或(huo)女(nv)人(ren)(ren)(ren),種(zhong)種(zhong)一(yi)切之(zhi)(zhi)人(ren)(ren)(ren),都(dou)因為貪(tan)欲(yu)(yu)之(zhi)(zhi)念長期累積,處(chu)心(xin)積慮(lv)只求(qiu)一(yi)快,其實貪(tan)欲(yu)(yu)之(zhi)(zhi)心(xin)不(bu)過導致奔波勞碌(liu)。沒有(you)(you)田地(di)的(de)(de)想(xiang)要得(de)(de)田地(di),沒有(you)(you)房(fang)屋的(de)(de)想(xiang)要得(de)(de)房(fang)屋,沒有(you)(you)家眷、親(qin)屬、妻室(shi)兒女(nv)以及沒有(you)(you)財(cai)物(wu)、產(chan)業、珍寶(bao)、器物(wu)的(de)(de),也都(dou)處(chu)心(xin)積慮(lv),盤算(suan)鉆營(ying),必(bi)欲(yu)(yu)據有(you)(you)而(er)后心(xin)安(an)。沒有(you)(you)的(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)(ren)有(you)(you)所憂苦(ku),已有(you)(you)的(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)(ren)也不(bu)得(de)(de)安(an)逸。有(you)(you)一(yi)些(xie)財(cai)物(wu)反(fan)而(er)欲(yu)(yu)海難填,希望再多得(de)(de)一(yi)星(xing)半(ban)點。有(you)(you)了(le)一(yi)件的(de)(de)覺得(de)(de)一(yi)件太少,有(you)(you)了(le)兩(liang)件的(de)(de)又(you)覺得(de)(de)兩(liang)件還少,欲(yu)(yu)望和獲(huo)取,總是相逐相長,沒有(you)(you)止境。才達到小(xiao)有(you)(you)資產(chan),旋即擔心(xin)遭遇損失;害(hai)怕(pa)(pa)火(huo)災焚燒,害(hai)怕(pa)(pa)水災流漂(piao),害(hai)怕(pa)(pa)盜賊偷竊,害(hai)怕(pa)(pa)土匪劫奪,害(hai)怕(pa)(pa)冤家仇殺,害(hai)怕(pa)(pa)債(zhai)主(zhu)催逼。憂懼之(zhi)(zhi)中(zhong),清凈本心(xin)在(zai)此消散磨滅。慳吝(lin)之(zhi)(zhi)心(xin),反(fan)倒越來越頑固,煩(fan)惱(nao)纏縛(fu),在(zai)泥坑中(zhong)越陷(xian)越深。

“世(shi)間(jian)一切人(ren)命(ming)終之時,不(bu)管你有多少眷屬(shu),積存了多少財寶,全部(bu)要(yao)舍離(li)拋(pao)棄。你所(suo)鐘愛的物也罷(ba)(ba),人(ren)也罷(ba)(ba),都不(bu)會隨你去那另一世(shi)間(jian);即或去到另一世(shi)間(jian)也不(bu)能(neng)同你在(zai)一起。富人(ren)和窮人(ren),在(zai)此陰(yin)間(jian)地下(xia)也都平等無差,個(ge)中憂苦,萬端無盡。

“世(shi)間(jian)的人民——父子、兄(xiong)弟、夫婦、親屬,應(ying)當相互(hu)尊敬友(you)愛,不要(yao)相互(hu)憎恨與嫉妒(du);應(ying)當互(hu)相幫助救護,有什(shen)么財物要(yao)互(hu)相周濟(ji),不要(yao)貪圖吝惜;應(ying)當說(shuo)話和氣,和顏悅(yue)色,互(hu)尊互(hu)敬,不要(yao)背逆斗狠;一時生(sheng)起(qi)爭(zheng)訟(song)之心,心里不免(mian)嗔(chen)恚忿怒,惡意愈(yu)演愈(yu)烈(lie),最(zui)終結(jie)成大恨深(shen)仇(chou);世(shi)間(jian)若冤(yuan)冤(yuan)相報(bao),更會結(jie)成丈冤(yuan)大孽,兩家相爭(zheng),雙方(fang)都招禍(huo)害;即(ji)(ji)令有時報(bao)應(ying)沒有立即(ji)(ji)顯現,還以為自己占了(le)上風,但因(yin)果相生(sheng),從來不爽,惡報(bao)只是時間(jian)問(wen)題。眾生(sheng)應(ying)當想透這個道理而(er)立即(ji)(ji)破(po)除恚恨,棄惡向善(shan)。

“人沉溺在情愛貪欲之(zhi)中,獨(du)身而來,孤獨(du)而死,生(sheng)無(wu)(wu)人相(xiang)隨(sui),死無(wu)(wu)人陪伴,苦樂之(zhi)果報,都是自作自受,沒有(you)誰能代(dai)替,也無(wu)(wu)人可以除免。善(shan)與惡的循環果報千變萬化(hua),追從相(xiang)隨(sui),直到(dao)來生(sheng)來世(shi)。雖是親眷家屬,善(shan)有(you)善(shan)報,惡有(you)惡報,善(shan)生(sheng)善(shan)趣(qu),惡降惡道,若積業有(you)差,生(sheng)處也就不(bu)同(tong),到(dao)那時便無(wu)(wu)從會見,何(he)不(bu)趁此強健在世(shi)之(zhi)時,努(nu)力修行善(shan)道,還(huan)將等到(dao)什(shen)么時候?

“世(shi)(shi)間(jian)之(zhi)人因(yin)為(wei)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能夠認識(shi)什么是(shi)善,什么是(shi)惡,各以(yi)自(zi)己的愚(yu)癡,妄加分別猜測吉兇禍福,競相造作惡業,身作愚(yu)行,頭腦中一片黑暗,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信(xin)受經法,反而(er)接受其(qi)他的外道(dao)(dao)邪(xie)說。如是(shi)的顛倒(dao)之(zhi)見,相續不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)絕,成(cheng)為(wei)生死無(wu)常(chang)輪回的根本動力(li),這就像蒙上眼睛(jing)什么也(ye)看不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見,卻一味胡沖亂闖。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信(xin)受佛教經法,心(xin)(xin)便沒(mei)有遠慮,一心(xin)(xin)追求于(yu)現世(shi)(shi)之(zhi)樂;癡迷(mi)于(yu)瞋恚忿(fen)怒而(er)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)自(zi)覺,貪吝財物女色(se)而(er)以(yi)為(wei)欣然。肆(si)無(wu)忌憚(dan),沒(mei)有終了之(zhi)時,真正悲哀(ai),實在(zai)可憐!上輩愚(yu)癡,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知(zhi)(zhi)佛道(dao)(dao),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)懂道(dao)(dao)德(de),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)對后輩進(jin)行教導,世(shi)(shi)代惡業相襲,癡頑無(wu)知(zhi)(zhi),世(shi)(shi)世(shi)(shi)作惡受報,就沒(mei)有什么可奇怪的了。

“世(shi)間之人(ren)(ren),對(dui)生(sheng)死輪回于六道,前(qian)生(sheng)積(ji)善(shan)(shan),下世(shi)得(de)善(shan)(shan),前(qian)生(sheng)積(ji)惡(e),下世(shi)得(de)惡(e)的規律,不能相信(xin)奉(feng)受(shou),以為(wei)并(bing)沒有(you)因果報應(ying)。更有(you)甚(shen)者,看到別(bie)人(ren)(ren)死了袖手旁觀,無(wu)動(dong)于衷,殊不知生(sheng)死之事(shi)遲早必然要落到自己頭上。父子、兄弟、夫婦等親(qin)屬死別(bie)之時,相互哭泣。相愛的人(ren)(ren)生(sheng)離死別(bie),一次次地戀(lian)顧(gu)難分,恩愛轉(zhuan)化為(wei)憂苦(ku),如結繩自相束縛,哪里還(huan)有(you)解脫的時候?思(si)想生(sheng)前(qian)的恩恩愛愛,考慮(lv)親(qin)善(shan)(shan)友誼,無(wu)不是情欲(yu)所支配。不能深(shen)思(si)熟慮(lv)而專心(xin)精勤地修(xiu)行佛道,人(ren)(ren)生(sheng)苦(ku)短(duan),年(nian)壽(shou)一期,轉(zhuan)瞬即盡,衰(shuai)老來臨(lin),則一籌莫展,徒感(gan)無(wu)可(ke)奈何!

“世(shi)間對佛法不(bu)(bu)理(li)解(jie)而迷惑的(de)(de)(de)人(ren)多,醒悟得道的(de)(de)(de)人(ren)少,各人(ren)心懷殘(can)傷他人(ren)的(de)(de)(de)心念,惡(e)氣冥冥昏暗,如是(shi)造惡(e)之人(ren)由妄心興起各種事端,違背天命(ming),不(bu)(bu)顧人(ren)意,恣意作惡(e),惡(e)貫滿盈,頓時之間便會奪去陽壽,下(xia)墮于地獄、餓鬼、畜生惡(e)道,永無出(chu)頭之期。

“你們應當(dang)深思熟(shu)慮(lv),遠(yuan)遠(yuan)脫離(li)各種惡(e)業,選擇善事,勤苦地修(xiu)行之。富(fu)貴榮華不可(ke)能(neng)長久保持,到時候都將離(li)你而去。富(fu)貴榮華其實也(ye)都是‘苦’,沒有什么可(ke)稱為‘樂(le)’的。你們應當(dang)勤奮精進,求生(sheng)西方極樂(le)世(shi)界。得生(sheng)西方極樂(le)世(shi)界,則智(zhi)慧明(ming)了通達,功德最大。千萬不要(yao)隨心所(suo)欲(yu),虧負于經教戒行,落在他人之后(hou)。”

【原文】彌(mi)勒(le)白言(yan)(yan):佛(fo)語教(jiao)戒,甚深甚善(shan)。皆蒙慈恩(en),解脫(tuo)憂苦(ku)(ku)。佛(fo)為(wei)(wei)法(fa)王,尊超(chao)群圣,光明(ming)徹照(zhao),洞達無(wu)(wu)極,普為(wei)(wei)一切天人之(zhi)(zhi)師。今(jin)得值佛(fo),復聞無(wu)(wu)量壽聲,靡(mi)不(bu)歡喜,心(xin)得開(kai)明(ming)。佛(fo)告彌(mi)勒(le):敬于佛(fo)者(zhe)(zhe),是為(wei)(wei)大善(shan)。實當念佛(fo),截斷(duan)狐疑。拔諸(zhu)愛欲,杜眾(zhong)惡源(yuan)。游步三界,無(wu)(wu)所罣礙。開(kai)示正道,度未(wei)度者(zhe)(zhe)。若(ruo)曹當知十方人民(min),永劫以來,輾轉五道,憂苦(ku)(ku)不(bu)絕。生(sheng)時苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong)(tong),老亦苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong)(tong),病極苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong)(tong),死(si)極苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong)(tong)。惡臭不(bu)凈(jing),無(wu)(wu)可樂(le)者(zhe)(zhe)。宜自決(jue)斷(duan),洗除心(xin)垢。言(yan)(yan)行忠信,表里相應(ying)。人能自度,轉相拯濟(ji)。至心(xin)求愿,積累善(shan)本。雖一世精(jing)進勤苦(ku)(ku),須臾(yu)間(jian)耳(er)。后生(sheng)無(wu)(wu)量壽國,快(kuai)樂(le)無(wu)(wu)極。永拔生(sheng)死(si)之(zhi)(zhi)本,無(wu)(wu)復苦(ku)(ku)惱(nao)之(zhi)(zhi)患。壽千萬劫,自在隨意。宜各精(jing)進,求心(xin)所愿。無(wu)(wu)得疑悔,自為(wei)(wei)過(guo)咎,生(sheng)彼邊地七寶(bao)城中(zhong),于五百(bai)歲(sui)受諸(zhu)厄也。彌(mi)勒(le)白言(yan)(yan):受佛(fo)明(ming)誨,專精(jing)修(xiu)學。如教(jiao)奉行,不(bu)敢有疑。

【譯文】彌勒菩薩于(yu)是說(shuo):“佛(fo)(fo)說(shuo)了(le)教人(ren)修善(shan)(shan)的(de)(de)法義,非(fei)常(chang)深刻非(fei)常(chang)善(shan)(shan)妙(miao)。我等會眾都蒙佛(fo)(fo)慈悲(bei)之(zhi)恩,得聞要(yao)津,以解脫于(yu)生(sheng)死憂(you)苦。佛(fo)(fo)為法王,超過(guo)諸天圣人(ren)而為至尊,佛(fo)(fo)所說(shuo)之(zhi)法如同光明,澈照十方(fang),洞達(da)無窮。佛(fo)(fo)是所有(you)(you)有(you)(you)緣(yuan)眾生(sheng)的(de)(de)導師。現在得以在這里(li)見到(dao)佛(fo)(fo)并聽聞說(shuo)法,實在難(nan)得,更難(nan)得的(de)(de)是聽聞到(dao)有(you)(you)關無量壽佛(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)聲音,大(da)家(jia)沒有(you)(you)一個不歡(huan)欣鼓舞的(de)(de),我們的(de)(de)心因此得以澈悟而明了(le)真(zhen)諦(di)。”

釋迦牟尼佛告誨(hui)彌勒:“恭敬于佛的人(ren),他(ta)是有大(da)善之人(ren),應當實實際際地念佛,截斷狐疑猜忌,拔(ba)除各(ge)種愛欲,杜絕(jue)各(ge)種惡(e)(e)意(yi)惡(e)(e)念的源頭,雖然(ran)奔走于三界(jie)世間穢土(tu),卻無所牽掛,無所障礙(ai),向眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)開(kai)示講演佛法正道(dao),度化還未得度化的有情眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)。你們應當知道(dao),十方世界(jie)的人(ren)民(min),從無比(bi)久遠以來,反復輾轉、輪回于天、人(ren)、畜生(sheng)(sheng)、餓鬼(gui)和地獄五道(dao),沉淪生(sheng)(sheng)死,憂苦(ku)不絕(jue)。誕生(sheng)(sheng)之時(shi)有‘生(sheng)(sheng)苦(ku)’之痛(tong),壽(shou)終之時(shi)有‘死苦(ku)’之痛(tong),身體臭惡(e)(e)而(er)(er)不清凈,沒有什(shen)么可稱為‘快樂’的。應自下決心,斷絕(jue)惡(e)(e)因(yin),洗濯心中(zhong)的污垢,如言(yan)而(er)(er)行,如行而(er)(er)言(yan),表里如一(yi),誠實無欺(qi)。

“洗除了污垢而表里如一(yi)(yi)的(de)人,能夠(gou)自行度脫,由自度轉(zhuan)而拯救(jiu)濟(ji)度他人。一(yi)(yi)心(xin)求取往生(sheng)西方(fang)極樂凈土的(de)大(da)愿,稱名念佛,積(ji)累(lei)善本。雖一(yi)(yi)生(sheng)一(yi)(yi)世精進修行十分勤苦,但這一(yi)(yi)生(sheng)之苦,較之一(yi)(yi)個人的(de)生(sheng)生(sheng)世世,只猶(you)如片刻之間。此生(sheng)之勤苦,使后(hou)世得以往生(sheng)無量壽國,享受無窮無盡的(de)快(kuai)樂,拔除生(sheng)死(si)根本惡因,遠離苦病煩惱之患(huan),壽命(ming)長達千(qian)萬時劫,自在(zai)神通(tong)而諸事隨心(xin)所(suo)欲。”

釋迦牟尼佛復喻眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng):“你們應各自精進專修,把往生(sheng)(sheng)凈土的(de)愿望切實地變為行動。不(bu)要(yao)疑(yi)惑,不(bu)要(yao)中途反悔,以免錯(cuo)過(guo)時機(ji),造成錯(cuo)誤罪行,以至往生(sheng)(sheng)時到了西方極樂凈土的(de)邊地之國,在懷疑(yi)佛智的(de)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)聚(ju)集的(de)七寶獄(yu)中,于五百年(nian)的(de)時間內,不(bu)得見佛、法、僧三寶,不(bu)得聞諸經佛法,受諸不(bu)幸處罰。”

彌勒菩(pu)薩領(ling)受佛旨,乃向佛言(yan):“今天我們(men)承受了佛明(ming)白完備(bei)的(de)教(jiao)誨,我等當專一修行,精進學習,按佛的(de)教(jiao)導(dao)誠(cheng)心奉行,不敢(gan)生出(chu)半點(dian)疑惑。”

濁(zhuo)世(shi)惡苦第三十(shi)五

【原文】佛(fo)告彌(mi)勒:汝等(deng)能于此(ci)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),端心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)正(zheng)(zheng)意,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)為(wei)眾(zhong)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),甚為(wei)大(da)(da)德。所(suo)以者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)何?十方世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)界,善(shan)(shan)多(duo)(duo)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)少(shao),易可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)開(kai)化(hua)(hua)(hua)。唯此(ci)五(wu)(wu)(wu)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)(jian),最為(wei)劇苦(ku)(ku)(ku)。我(wo)今(jin)于此(ci)作(zuo)佛(fo),教化(hua)(hua)(hua)群生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),令(ling)舍五(wu)(wu)(wu)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),去五(wu)(wu)(wu)痛(tong)(tong),離五(wu)(wu)(wu)燒,降化(hua)(hua)(hua)其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)意,令(ling)持五(wu)(wu)(wu)善(shan)(shan),獲其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)福(fu)德。何等(deng)為(wei)五(wu)(wu)(wu)?其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)一(yi)(yi)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)(jian)諸(zhu)(zhu)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)類,欲(yu)為(wei)眾(zhong)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)。強者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)伏弱,轉(zhuan)(zhuan)相(xiang)(xiang)克(ke)賊,殘(can)害殺(sha)傷,迭(die)相(xiang)(xiang)吞啖,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知(zhi)為(wei)善(shan)(shan),后(hou)(hou)(hou)受(shou)殃(yang)罰。故有(you)(you)窮乞(qi)、孤獨(du)、聾盲、喑啞、癡(chi)(chi)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)、尪(wang)狂,皆因(yin)前(qian)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信(xin)道(dao)德,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯(ken)為(wei)善(shan)(shan)。其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)有(you)(you)尊(zun)(zun)貴(gui)、豪富、賢(xian)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)、長(chang)(chang)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)、智(zhi)勇、才(cai)達,皆由宿世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)慈(ci)孝(xiao),修善(shan)(shan)積德所(suo)致(zhi)。世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)(jian)有(you)(you)此(ci)目前(qian)現事(shi),壽終(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)之(zhi)(zhi)后(hou)(hou)(hou),入(ru)(ru)其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)幽冥。轉(zhuan)(zhuan)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)受(shou)身(shen)(shen)(shen),改形(xing)易道(dao)。故有(you)(you)泥犁、禽獸、蜎飛(fei)蠕(ru)動之(zhi)(zhi)屬(shu)。譬如(ru)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)法牢(lao)獄,劇苦(ku)(ku)(ku)極(ji)(ji)刑,魂神(shen)(shen)命(ming)(ming)精,隨罪趣(qu)向。所(suo)受(shou)壽命(ming)(ming),或(huo)長(chang)(chang)或(huo)短,相(xiang)(xiang)從共(gong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),更(geng)相(xiang)(xiang)報(bao)償。殃(yang)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)未(wei)盡,終(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)得離。輾轉(zhuan)(zhuan)其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)中(zhong),累(lei)劫難出。難得解脫(tuo),痛(tong)(tong)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)言。天(tian)地之(zhi)(zhi)間(jian)(jian),自(zi)(zi)然(ran)有(you)(you)是(shi)(shi)。雖不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)即時暴(bao)應,善(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)會當歸之(zhi)(zhi)。其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)二者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)(jian)人(ren)(ren)(ren)民不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)順法度。奢(she)淫(yin)驕縱,任心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)自(zi)(zi)恣。居上不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming),在(zai)(zai)位不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)正(zheng)(zheng)。陷(xian)人(ren)(ren)(ren)冤枉(wang),損(sun)害忠(zhong)良。心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)口各異,機(ji)偽(wei)多(duo)(duo)端。尊(zun)(zun)卑中(zhong)外,更(geng)相(xiang)(xiang)欺誑。瞋恚(hui)愚癡(chi)(chi),欲(yu)自(zi)(zi)厚己(ji),欲(yu)貪(tan)多(duo)(duo)有(you)(you)。利害勝負(fu),結忿成仇。破家亡身(shen)(shen)(shen),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)顧前(qian)后(hou)(hou)(hou)。富有(you)(you)慳(qian)惜,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯(ken)施(shi)與(yu)。愛保(bao)貪(tan)重,心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)勞身(shen)(shen)(shen)苦(ku)(ku)(ku)。如(ru)是(shi)(shi)至(zhi)竟,無(wu)(wu)(wu)一(yi)(yi)隨者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)。善(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)禍福(fu),追命(ming)(ming)所(suo)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。或(huo)在(zai)(zai)樂處,或(huo)入(ru)(ru)苦(ku)(ku)(ku)毒。又(you)或(huo)見善(shan)(shan)憎(zeng)(zeng)(zeng)謗(bang),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思慕及(ji)。常(chang)懷(huai)(huai)(huai)盜(dao)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin),悕望他利。用(yong)自(zi)(zi)供給,消散(san)復取。神(shen)(shen)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)克(ke)識(shi),終(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)入(ru)(ru)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)道(dao)。自(zi)(zi)有(you)(you)三(san)途無(wu)(wu)(wu)量苦(ku)(ku)(ku)惱,輾轉(zhuan)(zhuan)其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)中(zhong),累(lei)劫難出,痛(tong)(tong)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)言。其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)三(san)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)(jian)人(ren)(ren)(ren)民相(xiang)(xiang)因(yin)寄生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),壽命(ming)(ming)幾何。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)良之(zhi)(zhi)人(ren)(ren)(ren),身(shen)(shen)(shen)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)正(zheng)(zheng)。常(chang)懷(huai)(huai)(huai)邪惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),常(chang)念淫(yin)欲(yu)。煩滿胸中(zhong),邪態外逸。費損(sun)家財,事(shi)為(wei)非法。所(suo)當求(qiu)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),而不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯(ken)為(wei)。又(you)或(huo)交結聚會,興兵相(xiang)(xiang)伐。攻劫殺(sha)戮,強奪迫脅。歸給妻子,極(ji)(ji)身(shen)(shen)(shen)作(zuo)樂。眾(zhong)共(gong)憎(zeng)(zeng)(zeng)厭(yan),患而苦(ku)(ku)(ku)之(zhi)(zhi)。如(ru)是(shi)(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),著(zhu)于人(ren)(ren)(ren)鬼。神(shen)(shen)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)記(ji)(ji)識(shi),自(zi)(zi)入(ru)(ru)三(san)途。無(wu)(wu)(wu)量苦(ku)(ku)(ku)惱,輾轉(zhuan)(zhuan)其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)中(zhong)。累(lei)劫難出,痛(tong)(tong)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)言。其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)四者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)(jian)人(ren)(ren)(ren)民不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)念修善(shan)(shan)。兩舌(she)、惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)口、妄言、綺語(yu)。憎(zeng)(zeng)(zeng)嫉善(shan)(shan)人(ren)(ren)(ren),敗壞(huai)賢(xian)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)孝(xiao)父母,輕慢師長(chang)(chang)。朋友(you)(you)無(wu)(wu)(wu)信(xin),難得誠實(shi)。尊(zun)(zun)貴(gui)自(zi)(zi)大(da)(da),謂己(ji)有(you)(you)道(dao)。橫行(xing)(xing)威(wei)勢,侵易于人(ren)(ren)(ren)。欲(yu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)畏敬,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)自(zi)(zi)慚懼(ju)。難可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)降化(hua)(hua)(hua),常(chang)懷(huai)(huai)(huai)驕慢。賴其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)前(qian)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),福(fu)德營(ying)護。今(jin)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),福(fu)德盡滅(mie)。壽命(ming)(ming)終(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)盡,諸(zhu)(zhu)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)繞歸。又(you)其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)名籍,記(ji)(ji)在(zai)(zai)神(shen)(shen)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。殃(yang)咎牽引(yin),無(wu)(wu)(wu)從舍離。但(dan)得前(qian)行(xing)(xing),入(ru)(ru)于火鑊。身(shen)(shen)(shen)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)摧碎,神(shen)(shen)形(xing)苦(ku)(ku)(ku)極(ji)(ji)。當斯之(zhi)(zhi)時,悔(hui)復何及(ji)。其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)五(wu)(wu)(wu)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)(jian)人(ren)(ren)(ren)民徙倚懈(xie)怠。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯(ken)作(zuo)善(shan)(shan),治身(shen)(shen)(shen)修業。父母教誨,違戾(li)反(fan)逆。譬如(ru)怨家,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)如(ru)無(wu)(wu)(wu)子。負(fu)恩違義(yi),無(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)報(bao)償。放(fang)恣游(you)散(san),耽酒嗜美。魯扈(hu)抵(di)突,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)識(shi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)情。無(wu)(wu)(wu)義(yi)無(wu)(wu)(wu)禮,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)諫曉(xiao)。六親眷屬(shu),資用(yong)有(you)(you)無(wu)(wu)(wu),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能憂念。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)惟父母之(zhi)(zhi)恩,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)存師友(you)(you)之(zhi)(zhi)義(yi)。意念身(shen)(shen)(shen)口,曾無(wu)(wu)(wu)一(yi)(yi)善(shan)(shan)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信(xin)諸(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)經法,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信(xin)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死善(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)。欲(yu)害真人(ren)(ren)(ren),斗亂僧眾(zhong)。愚癡(chi)(chi)蒙昧,自(zi)(zi)為(wei)智(zhi)慧(hui)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知(zhi)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)所(suo)從來,死所(suo)趣(qu)向。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)仁不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)順,希(xi)望長(chang)(chang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。慈(ci)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)教誨,而不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯(ken)信(xin)。苦(ku)(ku)(ku)口與(yu)語(yu),無(wu)(wu)(wu)益其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)。心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)中(zhong)閉塞,意不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)開(kai)解。大(da)(da)命(ming)(ming)將終(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),悔(hui)懼(ju)交至(zhi)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)預修善(shan)(shan),臨時乃悔(hui)。悔(hui)之(zhi)(zhi)于后(hou)(hou)(hou),將何及(ji)乎!天(tian)地之(zhi)(zhi)間(jian)(jian),五(wu)(wu)(wu)道(dao)分明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。善(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)報(bao)應,禍福(fu)相(xiang)(xiang)承。身(shen)(shen)(shen)自(zi)(zi)當之(zhi)(zhi),無(wu)(wu)(wu)誰代者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)。善(shan)(shan)人(ren)(ren)(ren)行(xing)(xing)善(shan)(shan),從樂入(ru)(ru)樂,從明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)入(ru)(ru)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)人(ren)(ren)(ren)行(xing)(xing)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),從苦(ku)(ku)(ku)入(ru)(ru)苦(ku)(ku)(ku),從冥入(ru)(ru)冥。誰能知(zhi)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),獨(du)佛(fo)知(zhi)耳。教語(yu)開(kai)示,信(xin)行(xing)(xing)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)少(shao)。生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)休,惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)道(dao)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)絕。如(ru)是(shi)(shi)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)人(ren)(ren)(ren),難可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)具盡。故有(you)(you)自(zi)(zi)然(ran)三(san)途,無(wu)(wu)(wu)量苦(ku)(ku)(ku)惱,輾轉(zhuan)(zhuan)其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)中(zhong)。世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)累(lei)劫,無(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)出期(qi)。難得解脫(tuo),痛(tong)(tong)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)言。如(ru)是(shi)(shi)五(wu)(wu)(wu)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)、五(wu)(wu)(wu)痛(tong)(tong)、五(wu)(wu)(wu)燒,譬如(ru)大(da)(da)火,焚燒人(ren)(ren)(ren)身(shen)(shen)(shen)。若能自(zi)(zi)于其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)中(zhong)一(yi)(yi)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)制意,端身(shen)(shen)(shen)正(zheng)(zheng)念,言行(xing)(xing)相(xiang)(xiang)副,所(suo)作(zuo)至(zhi)誠,獨(du)作(zuo)諸(zhu)(zhu)善(shan)(shan),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)為(wei)眾(zhong)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)。身(shen)(shen)(shen)獨(du)度脫(tuo),獲其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)福(fu)德,可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)得長(chang)(chang)壽泥洹之(zhi)(zhi)道(dao)。是(shi)(shi)為(wei)五(wu)(wu)(wu)大(da)(da)善(shan)(shan)也。

【譯文】釋迦牟尼佛告訴彌勒說(shuo):“你(ni)等(deng)能(neng)于(yu)此(ci)(ci)(ci)濁世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)之中正(zheng)心誠意,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)為(wei)種種惡(e)業,堪可(ke)稱(cheng)為(wei)‘大德’。為(wei)什(shen)么這(zhe)樣(yang)說(shuo)呢?十方諸(zhu)佛世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)界善(shan)(shan)(shan)多惡(e)少(shao),容易接受(shou)開(kai)導教化(hua),唯(wei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)此(ci)(ci)(ci)五惡(e)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian),‘苦(ku)(ku)’最(zui)大最(zui)多。我現(xian)今(jin)在此(ci)(ci)(ci)作佛,教化(hua)群生(sheng),欲使(shi)他們舍掉(diao)‘五惡(e)’,去脫‘五痛(tong)’,離開(kai)‘五燒’,降(jiang)(jiang)伏化(hua)除他們的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)癡迷之心,讓他們守持‘五善(shan)(shan)(shan)’,使(shi)他們獲得(de)福德。這(zhe)‘五’是(shi)什(shen)么呢?其(qi)(qi)一(yi)(yi)者,世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)諸(zhu)眾生(sheng)類(lei),想(xiang)作種種惡(e)事(shi)(shi),強者降(jiang)(jiang)伏弱者,強者身后(hou)(hou)又(you)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)更(geng)(geng)強者降(jiang)(jiang)伏他,輾轉(zhuan)(zhuan)相(xiang)制,殘害傷殺,大的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)吞食小的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),吞食者又(you)被(bei)更(geng)(geng)大的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)所吞。以暴凌(ling)善(shan)(shan)(shan),以強欺弱,完全不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)懂得(de)相(xiang)互(hu)為(wei)善(shan)(shan)(shan)。因(yin)(yin)為(wei)眾生(sheng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)如(ru)此(ci)(ci)(ci)作惡(e)而其(qi)(qi)來(lai)生(sheng)受(shou)到的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)果(guo)報(bao)(bao)和懲罰。所以,這(zhe)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)貧(pin)窮、有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)乞丐,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)無父(fu)母,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)無兒女(nv),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)聾,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)瞎,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)啞,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)癡呆,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)惡(e)毒,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)殘廢(fei),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)瘋狂,這(zhe)都(dou)是(shi)因(yin)(yin)為(wei)前(qian)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信道(dao),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)積德,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)為(wei)善(shan)(shan)(shan),所受(shou)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)‘殃(yang)罰’。世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)也有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人(ren)尊(zun)貴,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人(ren)豪富,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人(ren)賢(xian)明,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人(ren)受(shou)眾尊(zun)敬(jing),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人(ren)智(zhi)勇雙全,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人(ren)才能(neng)精深博大。這(zhe)都(dou)是(shi)由于(yu)前(qian)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)慈悲(bei)孝順(shun)等(deng)等(deng)修(xiu)善(shan)(shan)(shan)積德所得(de)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)善(shan)(shan)(shan)報(bao)(bao)。現(xian)實世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)此(ci)(ci)(ci)可(ke)見的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)果(guo)報(bao)(bao)之事(shi)(shi),更(geng)(geng)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)壽終(zhong)之后(hou)(hou)下到冥界后(hou)(hou)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)見的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)果(guo)報(bao)(bao)之事(shi)(shi),在冥界轉(zhuan)(zhuan)生(sheng)投胎又(you)受(shou)色身,改變了原來(lai)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)形象,變豬變狗,在五道(dao)中淪陷(xian)于(yu)更(geng)(geng)低(di)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)位置。因(yin)(yin)此(ci)(ci)(ci),便有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)地獄(yu)、禽獸、飛蠅、爬蟲之類(lei)。這(zhe)就猶(you)如(ru)以世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)法(fa)律治(zhi)罪(zui)(zui)犯(fan),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)關在牢(lao)獄(yu)之中,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)受(shou)到極刑痛(tong)苦(ku)(ku)。精靈魂魄與(yu)其(qi)(qi)人(ren)前(qian)生(sheng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)罪(zui)(zui)報(bao)(bao)相(xiang)隨相(xiang)從,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)管所得(de)到的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)生(sheng)命或長或短,冤家債主相(xiang)追隨共生(sheng)一(yi)(yi)處(chu),一(yi)(yi)定要將前(qian)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)怨仇一(yi)(yi)一(yi)(yi)清算,以期報(bao)(bao)償。所犯(fan)罪(zui)(zui)行若(ruo)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)結清,便不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)夠分開(kai),如(ru)此(ci)(ci)(ci)輾轉(zhuan)(zhuan)往復于(yu)其(qi)(qi)惡(e)道(dao)中,很多時(shi)劫也難(nan)(nan)得(de)出(chu)離,絕少(shao)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)機會獲得(de)解脫,其(qi)(qi)痛(tong)苦(ku)(ku)難(nan)(nan)以言說(shuo)。天地之間(jian),因(yin)(yin)果(guo)相(xiang)因(yin)(yin),報(bao)(bao)應(ying)(ying)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)爽,必應(ying)(ying)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)如(ru)此(ci)(ci)(ci)狀。有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)時(shi)雖不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)即時(shi)報(bao)(bao)應(ying)(ying),但善(shan)(shan)(shan)因(yin)(yin)善(shan)(shan)(shan)果(guo),惡(e)因(yin)(yin)惡(e)果(guo),時(shi)候一(yi)(yi)至,無不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)兌現(xian)。

“其(qi)二者(zhe),世間(jian)人(ren)(ren)民不(bu)(bu)依法(fa)規軌則,奢(she)侈(chi)淫樂,驕橫(heng)放縱,放情縱欲(yu)。居(ju)上(shang)位(wei)的(de)(de)(de)(de)官員貪(tan)贓枉法(fa),誤國殃民,在位(wei)而(er)不(bu)(bu)能(neng)正(zheng)已之身(shen),誣陷(xian)使(shi)人(ren)(ren)冤枉,更陷(xian)害忠良,阿諛誹謗,心口不(bu)(bu)一,投機取巧,詭(gui)詐(zha)虛偽。還不(bu)(bu)只是(shi)居(ju)上(shang)位(wei)的(de)(de)(de)(de)官員如此(ci),這(zhe)世間(jian)無論尊(zun)貴的(de)(de)(de)(de)王公貴族,卑殘的(de)(de)(de)(de)奴仆馬弁,族中的(de)(de)(de)(de)親(qin)眷(juan)家屬,外界的(de)(de)(de)(de)平民百姓,都(dou)是(shi)互(hu)相(xiang)欺誑,瞋恚愚(yu)癡。人(ren)(ren)們(men)都(dou)想自己(ji)占(zhan)便宜,損他人(ren)(ren)而(er)利(li)(li)己(ji)。為了貪(tan)婪攫取,占(zhan)有更多的(de)(de)(de)(de)利(li)(li)益,不(bu)(bu)惜以利(li)(li)相(xiang)侵(qin),互(hu)相(xiang)算計謀害,由(you)此(ci)結下忿(fen)惱,由(you)結忿(fen)惱又升(sheng)格(ge)為仇恨,甚至家破人(ren)(ren)亡,不(bu)(bu)顧前(qian)因(yin)后果的(de)(de)(de)(de)報應法(fa)則。富有者(zhe),慳吝(lin)貪(tan)惜,不(bu)(bu)肯(ken)施舍與人(ren)(ren)。愛欲(yu)頑(wan)固,貪(tan)心深重,終生身(shen)心勞苦(ku),就這(zhe)樣一直到(dao)死。到(dao)了死時,財(cai)物又帶不(bu)(bu)走(zou),沒有一樣能(neng)拿到(dao)陰間(jian)。善(shan)惡禍福平生之業,卻追(zhui)隨(sui)其(qi)人(ren)(ren)靈魂而(er)到(dao)往生處,或者(zhe)三善(shan)道,或者(zhe)三惡道,總之,決不(bu)(bu)會放棄此(ci)人(ren)(ren)。

“再有,或(huo)有見人(ren)之善(shan),不是(shi)想著(zhu)如何(he)去(qu)學(xue)習他,敬慕(mu)他,而是(shi)憎惡(e)誹謗他,胸中(zhong)常懷(huai)侵(qin)奪(duo)之心,希望(wang)損人(ren)利己,將他人(ren)之財物供自(zi)(zi)己取(qu)用,揮霍完了,又重去(qu)盜(dao)取(qu)。當然逃不出神明的眼界(jie),終將其(qi)人(ren)打入惡(e)道,自(zi)(zi)然有三途(tu)惡(e)道的無量苦(ku)惱(nao)等著(zhu)他,其(qi)人(ren)輾轉于三惡(e)道中(zhong),曠劫長時也難以(yi)得出,其(qi)痛苦(ku)不堪言說。

“其三者,世(shi)(shi)間(jian)人(ren)眾(zhong),由于(yu)相互(hu)之(zhi)間(jian)的(de)業(ye)因(yin)導果而出(chu)生(sheng)(sheng)于(yu)世(shi)(shi),壽命能(neng)有多(duo)長?不(bu)(bu)良之(zhi)人(ren),身心(xin)不(bu)(bu)正,常懷邪(xie)惡(e)狠毒之(zhi)心(xin),常沉溺于(yu)淫欲放蕩,煩懣填塞胸中(zhong),淫邪(xie)放蕩流露于(yu)外表,所作(zuo)之(zhi)事不(bu)(bu)但耗費損失家中(zhong)產業(ye),更因(yin)這(zhe)(zhe)些事情(qing)不(bu)(bu)合法(fa)度甚而至于(yu)違犯法(fa)律(lv)招(zhao)來惡(e)報。應當為(wei)(wei)之(zhi)追(zhui)求(qiu)、為(wei)(wei)之(zhi)奮(fen)斗的(de),他(ta)們(men)不(bu)(bu)愿去(qu)追(zhui)求(qiu)去(qu)奮(fen)斗。又有的(de)人(ren)拉幫結伙(huo),興起(qi)爭(zheng)戰,互(hu)相攻伐,侵掠殺戮,武(wu)力脅迫,公然搶(qiang)奪(duo)。將(jiang)(jiang)以此種種獸行(xing)搶(qiang)奪(duo)來的(de)財物拿去(qu)取悅(yue)于(yu)妻妾強(qiang)人(ren),縱情(qing)于(yu)聲色(se),不(bu)(bu)知疲(pi)倦地尋歡作(zuo)樂。世(shi)(shi)間(jian)人(ren)眾(zhong)對(dui)此憎惡(e)討厭,為(wei)(wei)此使(shi)之(zhi)遭(zao)受災(zai)禍和無(wu)邊(bian)(bian)痛苦。這(zhe)(zhe)些作(zuo)惡(e)之(zhi)人(ren),雖(sui)現人(ren)形,卻顯鬼(gui)魅的(de)惡(e)毒。那(nei)明察人(ren)世(shi)(shi)的(de)神(shen)明白會(hui)給他(ta)們(men)記上這(zhe)(zhe)筆帳,以他(ta)們(men)自己(ji)此生(sheng)(sheng)作(zuo)惡(e)之(zhi)因(yin),將(jiang)(jiang)其在來世(shi)(shi)轉生(sheng)(sheng)之(zhi)時(shi)變為(wei)(wei)餓鬼(gui)畜生(sheng)(sheng),墮入三惡(e)道,受到那(nei)無(wu)邊(bian)(bian)無(wu)量無(wu)窮無(wu)盡的(de)苦痛折磨,其人(ren)輾(zhan)轉于(yu)三惡(e)道之(zhi)中(zhong),很(hen)多(duo)時(shi)劫(jie)也不(bu)(bu)能(neng)出(chu)來,其痛苦難以言說。

“其(qi)四者,世(shi)間的(de)(de)人(ren)民不(bu)掛念著(zhu)(zhu)修(xiu)善的(de)(de)事(shi),卻撥弄是(shi)非(fei),言辭粗鄙,假話大(da)(da)話,阿諛逢(feng)迎,憎恨嫉妒善人(ren)的(de)(de)才(cai)德,敗壞賢明之(zhi)人(ren)的(de)(de)名(ming)聲;不(bu)孝敬順遂父母,不(bu)尊重(zhong)而慢待老師,朋友(you)間不(bu)守信譽(yu),難得以誠相待;驕傲(ao)自大(da)(da),炫耀自己有道行,橫行霸道,仗勢欺(qi)人(ren),想讓大(da)(da)眾對己產生(sheng)敬畏;不(bu)知羞(xiu)慚,不(bu)自戒(jie)慎,不(bu)聽(ting)勸慰,不(bu)服(fu)教化,其(qi)心(xin)常(chang)懷自大(da)(da)傲(ao)慢,僅依靠其(qi)前(qian)(qian)生(sheng)前(qian)(qian)世(shi)所積累的(de)(de)那點福(fu)德的(de)(de)佑(you)護,才(cai)未馬(ma)上受難;于(yu)今生(sheng)今世(shi)作(zuo)(zuo)惡(e)多端,前(qian)(qian)世(shi)辛(xin)勤(qin)修(xiu)得的(de)(de)福(fu)德終(zhong)(zhong)歸消耗殆(dai)盡。其(qi)人(ren)終(zhong)(zhong)了之(zhi)時,他所作(zuo)(zuo)的(de)(de)各種惡(e)業擁著(zhu)(zhu)他的(de)(de)魂魄去(qu)(qu)到(dao)冥世(shi),他的(de)(de)惡(e)名(ming)和(he)所作(zuo)(zuo)的(de)(de)惡(e)業,都登記(ji)在神(shen)明的(de)(de)檔(dang)案里,其(qi)人(ren)被自身(shen)生(sheng)前(qian)(qian)所作(zuo)(zuo)之(zhi)災惡(e)罪過所牽引,沒有辦(ban)法得以脫(tuo)身(shen),只好跟著(zhu)(zhu)前(qian)(qian)去(qu)(qu),進(jin)入到(dao)獄火(huo)湯鑊之(zhi)中,身(shen)心(xin)被摧毀破(po)碎(sui),精神(shen)肉體痛苦不(bu)堪。到(dao)了這(zhe)個(ge)時候,后悔(hui)也來不(bu)及了。

“其五者,世(shi)(shi)間(jian)(jian)的(de)(de)(de)人(ren)民(min)不(bu)(bu)思努力,留連于松懈懶惰,不(bu)(bu)肯(ken)作善(shan)舉好事,也不(bu)(bu)肯(ken)修身(shen)(shen)養(yang)性,不(bu)(bu)能敬業樂群。父(fu)母(mu)(mu)教(jiao)誨兒(er)(er)(er)(er)女,兒(er)(er)(er)(er)女違(wei)背(bei)忤(wu)逆,就(jiu)好像是冤家(jia)對頭。有這樣的(de)(de)(de)兒(er)(er)(er)(er)女還不(bu)(bu)如沒有。如此兒(er)(er)(er)(er)女,辜負父(fu)母(mu)(mu)養(yang)育之(zhi)恩,違(wei)背(bei)孝(xiao)敬長輩的(de)(de)(de)世(shi)(shi)間(jian)(jian)禮儀,對父(fu)母(mu)(mu)的(de)(de)(de)恩德全(quan)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)一點報(bao)答之(zhi)情。有的(de)(de)(de)人(ren)放蕩自(zi)縱(zong),游樂散(san)漫(man),好酒貪杯(bei),嗜愛美(mei)味,無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)知(zhi)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)識,專橫跋扈,心(xin)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)遠見(jian),冥行(xing)妄作,不(bu)(bu)懂(dong)得人(ren)情世(shi)(shi)故,不(bu)(bu)懂(dong)得仁義(yi)禮貌.對其規勸告誡也沒有用。有的(de)(de)(de)人(ren)對父(fu)母(mu)(mu)姊妹;親戚眷屬的(de)(de)(de)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)活困難全(quan)然不(bu)(bu)顧,不(bu)(bu)考慮父(fu)母(mu)(mu)之(zhi)恩,不(bu)(bu)考慮老(lao)(lao)師朋(peng)友(you)情義(yi),心(xin)常(chang)(chang)念(nian)惡,口(kou)常(chang)(chang)言(yan)惡,身(shen)(shen)常(chang)(chang)行(xing)惡,三(san)業之(zhi)中(zhong)一無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)是處(chu),無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)善(shan)可言(yan)。不(bu)(bu)信仰諸佛的(de)(de)(de)經(jing)言(yan)法教(jiao),不(bu)(bu)相(xiang)信生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死(si)因(yin)果,善(shan)惡有報(bao)。欲想殺害阿(a)羅漢(han),離間(jian)(jian)僧眾使(shi)之(zhi)爭斗,蒙昧無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)知(zhi),反而自(zi)以為聰明。不(bu)(bu)知(zhi)道(dao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)從何處(chu)而來,死(si)后(hou)(hou)又去到何方,待人(ren)接物(wu),不(bu)(bu)知(zhi)仁愛和順(shun),癡心(xin)妄想于長生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)不(bu)(bu)老(lao)(lao)。對慈悲之(zhi)心(xin)的(de)(de)(de)教(jiao)誨不(bu)(bu)肯(ken)相(xiang)信;對苦口(kou)婆心(xin)的(de)(de)(de)勸勉之(zhi)話;無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)動于衷。上述人(ren)等心(xin)中(zhong)因(yin)癡愚而黑暗不(bu)(bu)明,對善(shan)意良言(yan)不(bu)(bu)能開悟理(li)解。生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)命將要終了(le)(le)之(zhi)時(shi),后(hou)(hou)悔恐懼交(jiao)相(xiang)產生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。不(bu)(bu)預先修善(shan),死(si)到臨頭方生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)后(hou)(hou)悔,可為時(shi)已晚,再后(hou)(hou)悔也來不(bu)(bu)及了(le)(le)。

“在天(tian)地(di)中(zhong)間(jian),天(tian)、人、餓鬼、畜(chu)生、地(di)獄五道生死流轉,其善(shan)(shan)惡(e)因果(guo)報(bao)應不(bu)爽是(shi)明擺(bai)著的(de)(de)事(shi)。行善(shan)(shan)作(zuo)(zuo)惡(e)各有報(bao)應相隨,禍受之(zhi)于惡(e),福(fu)受之(zhi)于善(shan)(shan),是(shi)禍是(shi)福(fu),均由其本人自己(ji)來承當,他人無(wu)(wu)可替代,善(shan)(shan)人行善(shan)(shan)事(shi),今世(shi)樂(le)施好善(shan)(shan),來生得入(ru)(ru)富(fu)樂(le)人家;今世(shi)勤修福(fu)慧,來生得入(ru)(ru)賢達(da)人家;惡(e)人作(zuo)(zuo)惡(e)事(shi),今世(shi)使人痛苦(ku),來生得入(ru)(ru)窮苦(ku)人家;今世(shi)癡(chi)愚(yu),來生還入(ru)(ru)癡(chi)愚(yu)人家。這其中(zhong)的(de)(de)道理有誰能(neng)知(zhi)?唯獨只有佛能(neng)知(zhi)能(neng)曉。佛說的(de)(de)教導人眾的(de)(de)方法,所(suo)開示的(de)(de)真實(shi)之(zhi)相,信受不(bu)移而依(yi)此篤(du)行的(de)(de)人極少極少。所(suo)以世(shi)間(jian)生死輪回(hui)永不(bu)停止(zhi),墮于三(san)惡(e)道之(zhi)路的(de)(de)人眾不(bu)能(neng)斷絕。像這樣的(de)(de)世(shi)間(jian)凡夫俗子,難(nan)以全部都度(du)脫(tuo)完畢,所(suo)以才有三(san)惡(e)道無(wu)(wu)量苦(ku)惱,讓這樣的(de)(de)凡夫俗子輾轉于其中(zhong),生生世(shi)世(shi),曠劫而不(bu)能(neng)得出,解脫(tuo)生死的(de)(de)希(xi)望無(wu)(wu)從感受,痛苦(ku)難(nan)以言(yan)說。

“像這樣的(de)五(wu)惡、五(wu)痛(tong)、五(wu)燒(shao),猶(you)如大火(huo)(huo)焚燒(shao)人(ren)身,若有(you)人(ren)能在火(huo)(huo)燒(shao)之(zhi)中,專(zhuan)一(yi)其心,制止意業發生,端正其行(xing)為(wei)思想,言行(xing)一(yi)致,誠心誠意,不管(guan)世間濁穢如何,獨作善事,不作各種惡事,其人(ren)之(zhi)身便獨得(de)度脫,獲(huo)得(de)他行(xing)善報應的(de)福德,可得(de)以在無生無滅的(de)涅盤境界中長生。這就是五(wu)大善。”

重(zhong)重(zhong)誨勉第(di)三十六

【原文】佛(fo)告彌勒:吾語汝(ru)等(deng),如(ru)是五惡(e)、五痛、五燒,輾轉相(xiang)(xiang)生(sheng)(sheng)。敢有(you)犯(fan)此,當(dang)(dang)歷惡(e)趣(qu)。或(huo)其(qi)今世,先(xian)被(bei)病殃,死(si)生(sheng)(sheng)不(bu)(bu)(bu)得(de),示眾見之(zhi)(zhi)。或(huo)于(yu)壽(shou)終(zhong),入三惡(e)道(dao)(dao)。愁痛酷(ku)毒,自(zi)相(xiang)(xiang)燋(jiao)然(ran)。共其(qi)怨(yuan)家,更相(xiang)(xiang)殺(sha)傷。從(cong)小(xiao)微起,成大困劇。皆(jie)由貪著財色(se),不(bu)(bu)(bu)肯(ken)施(shi)惠。各(ge)欲自(zi)快,無(wu)復曲(qu)直。癡欲所迫,厚(hou)己爭(zheng)利。富(fu)貴榮華(hua),當(dang)(dang)時快意。不(bu)(bu)(bu)能忍辱,不(bu)(bu)(bu)務(wu)修善。威勢無(wu)幾,隨以(yi)磨(mo)滅。天道(dao)(dao)施(shi)張,自(zi)然(ran)糾(jiu)舉,煢(qiong)煢(qiong)忪(zhong)忪(zhong),當(dang)(dang)入其(qi)中。古今有(you)是,痛哉可傷!汝(ru)等(deng)得(de)佛(fo)經語,熟思惟之(zhi)(zhi)。各(ge)自(zi)端守(shou),終(zhong)身不(bu)(bu)(bu)怠。尊(zun)圣敬(jing)善,仁慈博愛。當(dang)(dang)求(qiu)度世,拔斷生(sheng)(sheng)死(si)眾惡(e)之(zhi)(zhi)本。當(dang)(dang)離三途(tu),憂怖苦痛之(zhi)(zhi)道(dao)(dao)。若曹作(zuo)善,云何第一?當(dang)(dang)自(zi)端心(xin),當(dang)(dang)自(zi)端身。耳(er)目口鼻,皆(jie)當(dang)(dang)自(zi)端。身心(xin)凈潔,與(yu)善相(xiang)(xiang)應。勿隨嗜欲,不(bu)(bu)(bu)犯(fan)諸惡(e)。言(yan)色(se)當(dang)(dang)和,身行當(dang)(dang)專。動作(zuo)瞻視,安定徐為。作(zuo)事倉卒,敗悔在后(hou)。為之(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)諦,亡其(qi)功夫(fu)。

【譯文】釋迦牟(mou)尼佛對(dui)彌勒說(shuo):“我(wo)告訴(su)了(le)你們這個(ge)五(wu)惡、五(wu)痛、五(wu)燒輾轉(zhuan)相(xiang)生(sheng)因果(guo)輪回的道理。若還有人敢(gan)于犯(fan)此五(wu)惡,必當遭到(dao)惡果(guo)所報(bao),或者其人今世就得現報(bao),先被病惡禍及(ji),痛苦不堪,求(qiu)生(sheng)不得,求(qiu)死不能,讓大眾都得見(jian)這惡行惡報(bao)的下場。或者其人在壽(shou)終之(zhi)后,墮入三(san)惡趣中,憂愁痛苦,酷刑(xing)荼毒,自(zi)業之(zhi)火(huo),炙灼自(zi)身(shen);與他在生(sheng)之(zhi)世結的冤家對(dui)頭共處(chu)一地,互相(xiang)傷害殘殺,從很(hen)小(xiao)的摩擦開始(shi),愈演愈烈,最(zui)終釀成(cheng)重災(zai)大禍。

“上述兩種惡報(bao)都是由于生(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)世貪(tan)得無(wu)厭,積(ji)斂錢財(cai),無(wu)羞無(wu)恥,沉(chen)溺(ni)色情,不(bu)肯以財(cai)物(wu)布施窮人(ren)(ren),只求自己快(kuai)樂(le)和欲(yu)望得到(dao)(dao)滿(man)足,不(bu)管(guan)所行之(zhi)(zhi)事的是非曲(qu)直。由癡欲(yu)貪(tan)婪(lan)之(zhi)(zhi)心(xin)(xin)所迫使,損人(ren)(ren)利己,不(bu)擇手(shou)段與人(ren)(ren)爭利,爭得的富貴榮華,只是一時的快(kuai)意,不(bu)愿忍(ren)辱(ru)修習(xi),不(bu)能修善積(ji)德,威(wei)風權勢沒有(you)幾天(tian)長久,隨即便磨滅殆(dai)盡。天(tian)理昭然,自會觀察審視到(dao)(dao)其(qi)人(ren)(ren)所為。其(qi)人(ren)(ren)自感罪行敗露,驚惶(huang)失措,將孤獨地(di)墮入惡道之(zhi)(zhi)中。從(cong)古到(dao)(dao)今有(you)不(bu)少這(zhe)方面的例(li)子。痛(tong)心(xin)(xin)啊,真使人(ren)(ren)痛(tong)心(xin)(xin)!

“你們聽我說了(le)這些(xie)法教(jiao),應(ying)對這其中(zhong)道(dao)理深思熟(shu)慮,各(ge)自端(duan)守奉行教(jiao)法,終(zhong)身不要(yao)有(you)片刻懈怠。尊(zun)重(zhong)阿羅(luo)漢等修(xiu)行人(ren),敬愛行善好施(shi)的大居士,仁義(yi)慈悲,博愛眾生,當求濟度世間(jian)有(you)情之(zhi)道(dao),拔除(chu)斷滅生死和各(ge)種惡(e)(e)的根源。如這樣作,則必將脫(tuo)離三惡(e)(e)道(dao)的憂愁(chou)、恐怖、苦痛(tong)。你們作善事,首(shou)先(xian)得作什(shen)么(me)?首(shou)先(xian)應(ying)當自行端(duan)正身心(xin),端(duan)正耳、目、口、鼻。身心(xin)潔凈,與善便可相照應(ying)。不要(yao)順逐嗜好欲(yu)望,不要(yao)造下(xia)諸種惡(e)(e)業,語(yu)言(yan)(yan)面容應(ying)當溫(wen)柔和藹(ai),自身及行為(wei)應(ying)當專誠瑞正。一(yi)(yi)舉(ju)一(yi)(yi)動(dong),一(yi)(yi)言(yan)(yan)一(yi)(yi)行,都應(ying)當安祥(xiang)沉靜(jing),從(cong)容不迫。作事倉(cang)卒慌忙,必將失(shi)敗與后悔(hui),一(yi)(yi)招不慎,便會喪失(shi)其修(xiu)習了(le)許久的功夫德(de)行。”

如貧得(de)寶第三十七(qi)

【原文】汝等廣植(zhi)德本,勿犯道(dao)禁(jin)。忍辱精進,慈心(xin)專一(yi)。齋戒清凈(jing),一(yi)日(ri)一(yi)夜,勝(sheng)在無(wu)量壽國(guo)(guo)為善百歲。所(suo)(suo)(suo)以(yi)者(zhe)何(he)?彼佛(fo)(fo)國(guo)(guo)土,皆積德眾善,無(wu)毫(hao)發(fa)之(zhi)(zhi)惡(e)。于(yu)此修(xiu)善,十日(ri)十夜,勝(sheng)于(yu)他方諸佛(fo)(fo)國(guo)(guo)中(zhong),為善千歲。所(suo)(suo)(suo)以(yi)者(zhe)何(he)?他方佛(fo)(fo)國(guo)(guo),福德自然,無(wu)造惡(e)之(zhi)(zhi)地。唯此世間,善少惡(e)多,飲苦(ku)食毒,未嘗(chang)寧息。吾(wu)哀(ai)(ai)汝等,苦(ku)心(xin)誨(hui)喻,授與經(jing)法(fa)(fa)。悉持思之(zhi)(zhi),悉奉行之(zhi)(zhi)。尊卑、男女、眷屬(shu)、朋友,轉相(xiang)(xiang)教(jiao)(jiao)語(yu),自相(xiang)(xiang)約(yue)檢。和(he)順義理,歡樂(le)慈孝。所(suo)(suo)(suo)作如(ru)犯,則自悔過(guo)。去惡(e)就善,朝聞(wen)夕改。奉持經(jing)戒,如(ru)貧得(de)(de)寶。改往修(xiu)來,洗(xi)心(xin)易行。自然感降,所(suo)(suo)(suo)愿輒(zhe)得(de)(de)。佛(fo)(fo)所(suo)(suo)(suo)行處(chu),國(guo)(guo)邑丘聚,靡不(bu)蒙化(hua)。天(tian)下和(he)順,日(ri)月清明。風雨以(yi)時,災厲(li)不(bu)起。國(guo)(guo)豐(feng)民(min)安,兵戈無(wu)用。崇德興仁,務修(xiu)禮讓。國(guo)(guo)無(wu)盜賊(zei),無(wu)有怨枉。強不(bu)凌弱,各(ge)得(de)(de)其所(suo)(suo)(suo)。我哀(ai)(ai)汝等,甚于(yu)父母念子。我于(yu)此世作佛(fo)(fo),以(yi)善攻(gong)惡(e),拔生死(si)之(zhi)(zhi)苦(ku)。令(ling)獲五(wu)德,升無(wu)為之(zhi)(zhi)安。吾(wu)般泥(ni)洹,經(jing)道(dao)漸滅。人民(min)諂(chan)偽,復為眾惡(e)。五(wu)燒五(wu)痛,久后轉劇。汝等轉相(xiang)(xiang)教(jiao)(jiao)誡,如(ru)佛(fo)(fo)經(jing)法(fa)(fa),無(wu)得(de)(de)犯也(ye)。彌勒菩(pu)薩,合(he)掌(zhang)白言(yan):世人惡(e)苦(ku),如(ru)是如(ru)是。佛(fo)(fo)皆慈哀(ai)(ai),悉度脫之(zhi)(zhi)。受佛(fo)(fo)重誨(hui),不(bu)敢(gan)違(wei)失。

【譯文】你們(men)(men)應當廣修六(liu)度(du),培植功德之本,不要違犯了戒(jie)禁紀律。一定要忍辱(ru)精進,用心專一。守(shou)齋持戒(jie),務(wu)使身心清凈。若(ruo)能在(zai)此穢(hui)土守(shou)齋持戒(jie)一天(tian)(tian)一夜(ye),所(suo)獲的(de)(de)(de)(de)功德勝過(guo)(guo)在(zai)無(wu)(wu)量壽(shou)國里作一百年(nian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)善行義舉。為(wei)什(shen)么(me)呢?那西方極樂世(shi)界都是各種福(fu)德善事積累(lei)而(er)成,沒有哪(na)怕是如毫毛(mao)頭發(fa)的(de)(de)(de)(de)一絲惡(e)念。在(zai)我(wo)們(men)(men)這娑婆(po)世(shi)界修善十(shi)天(tian)(tian)十(shi)夜(ye),勝過(guo)(guo)在(zai)其他(ta)諸佛(fo)國中修善千年(nian)。為(wei)什(shen)么(me)呢?其他(ta)的(de)(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)國天(tian)(tian)然有佛(fo)德,沒有造(zao)成惡(e)業的(de)(de)(de)(de)余地(di)。不像(xiang)我(wo)們(men)(men)這世(shi)間,善少惡(e)多(duo),飲苦水,吃毒食,終無(wu)(wu)休(xiu)止之期(qi)。

我(wo)為你(ni)們(men)眾生悲(bei)哀,所以(yi)才苦(ku)口婆心地加(jia)以(yi)教(jiao)(jiao)導,翻來復去(qu)的(de)(de)(de)給出譬(pi)喻,一(yi)心要教(jiao)(jiao)給你(ni)們(men)經(jing)(jing)法,令(ling)你(ni)們(men)受持(chi)(chi)思考,如教(jiao)(jiao)奉(feng)行(xing)。對達官顯(xian)貴和奴(nu)仆(pu)百姓,對男人(ren)(ren)和女(nv)(nv)人(ren)(ren),對親戚眷屬,對朋友同(tong)事(shi),轉述我(wo)教(jiao)(jiao)導的(de)(de)(de)這些話,務必要自(zi)(zi)行(xing)檢(jian)查約束,使言行(xing)舉止合順于理(li)(li)義,歡(huan)喜安樂于慈愛兒(er)女(nv)(nv)、孝敬父母(mu)。所作所為如有違(wei)犯經(jing)(jing)戒的(de)(de)(de)地方,則自(zi)(zi)行(xing)改過。離去(qu)惡而靠近善,早上知道了正確的(de)(de)(de)道理(li)(li),下午就改正過來。奉(feng)持(chi)(chi)經(jing)(jing)戒,如同(tong)窮人(ren)(ren)得到珍寶(bao),改正以(yi)往的(de)(de)(de)惡,修行(xing)未來的(de)(de)(de)善,洗除心中的(de)(de)(de)污垢,變(bian)易(yi)自(zi)(zi)己(ji)的(de)(de)(de)行(xing)為,自(zi)(zi)然感應到佛(fo)力加(jia)持(chi)(chi),凡所求愿,都能圓滿。

佛所到之處,大到國家,小(xiao)到鄉(xiang)邑,凡(fan)眾生聚(ju)居之處,沒有(you)一地(di)不蒙受教化(hua),也沒有(you)一處不呈現(xian)祥和太平。萬(wan)邦(bang)和睦,日月清明,風調雨順,災害不起,瘟(wen)疫不行;國家豐足,人(ren)民安樂;刀槍入庫,尊崇(chong)道德;興(xing)施仁(ren)政,宣傳禮讓(rang);國無(wu)盜(dao)賊,世無(wu)怨枉;強者不欺凌弱者,人(ren)人(ren)都各得(de)其所。

我憐憫你們(men)罪苦(ku)眾(zhong)(zhong)生,勝過父母慈愛(ai)兒(er)女。我在此五(wu)濁惡(e)(e)世上作(zuo)佛(fo)(fo);用(yong)善德來(lai)(lai)攻破惡(e)(e)行。拔除有情生死之苦(ku),使眾(zhong)(zhong)生獲得“五(wu)德”,升至(zhi)無為(wei)無礙的常樂心境。我圓寂(ji)后,經(jing)法(fa)(fa)佛(fo)(fo)道將逐漸(jian)泯滅(mie),那(nei)時(shi)候,人心諂(chan)邪狡詐(zha),重新作(zuo)惡(e)(e),五(wu)燒五(wu)痛,越來(lai)(lai)越劇,你們(men)應當由(you)我佛(fo)(fo)法(fa)(fa)的弟(di)子轉為(wei)教(jiao)導(dao)世人的老師,不(bu)倦地教(jiao)誡眾(zhong)(zhong)生,引導(dao)眾(zhong)(zhong)生。你們(men)記住,對(dui)于佛(fo)(fo)所留下的經(jing)法(fa)(fa),一定不(bu)要違犯。

彌勒菩薩合掌(zhang)致謝禮(li),贊嘆道:世間人類的惡與苦(ku),如佛所(suo)說這樣大、這樣深,佛皆慈(ci)哀世間惡人,不計其惡而全部度(du)脫(tuo)。我等受(shou)佛深刻的教誨,不敢違犯忘失。

禮佛現光第三十八

【原文】佛(fo)(fo)(fo)告(gao)阿(a)(a)(a)(a)難(nan):若(ruo)曹(cao)欲(yu)見(jian)無(wu)(wu)量清(qing)凈平等覺,及(ji)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)菩(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)、阿(a)(a)(a)(a)羅漢等所居國土,應(ying)起西向(xiang),當(dang)日沒(mei)處,恭(gong)敬頂(ding)禮(li)(li),稱(cheng)念(nian)南無(wu)(wu)阿(a)(a)(a)(a)彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)(fo)。阿(a)(a)(a)(a)難(nan)即(ji)從座(zuo)起,面西合掌(zhang),頂(ding)禮(li)(li)白言(yan):我(wo)今愿見(jian)極樂(le)(le)世(shi)(shi)界(jie)阿(a)(a)(a)(a)彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)(fo),供(gong)(gong)養奉(feng)事,種(zhong)(zhong)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)善根(gen)。頂(ding)禮(li)(li)之間(jian),忽見(jian)阿(a)(a)(a)(a)彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)(fo),容顏廣大(da),色(se)相端嚴。如黃金(jin)(jin)山,高出(chu)一(yi)切(qie)(qie)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)世(shi)(shi)界(jie)上。又聞十(shi)方(fang)世(shi)(shi)界(jie),諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)如來(lai),稱(cheng)揚贊(zan)嘆阿(a)(a)(a)(a)彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)(fo)種(zhong)(zhong)種(zhong)(zhong)功德(de),無(wu)(wu)礙無(wu)(wu)斷。阿(a)(a)(a)(a)難(nan)白言(yan):彼(bi)(bi)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)凈剎得未曾(ceng)有,我(wo)亦(yi)愿樂(le)(le)生于(yu)(yu)(yu)彼(bi)(bi)土。世(shi)(shi)尊(zun)告(gao)言(yan):其(qi)中生者,已曾(ceng)親近無(wu)(wu)量諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo),植眾德(de)本。汝(ru)欲(yu)生彼(bi)(bi),應(ying)當(dang)一(yi)心歸依(yi)瞻仰。作(zuo)是(shi)語時,阿(a)(a)(a)(a)彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)(fo)即(ji)于(yu)(yu)(yu)掌(zhang)中放無(wu)(wu)量光(guang),普照(zhao)一(yi)切(qie)(qie)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)世(shi)(shi)界(jie)。時諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)國,皆(jie)(jie)悉(xi)明(ming)(ming)現,如處一(yi)尋。以(yi)阿(a)(a)(a)(a)彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)(fo)殊(shu)勝光(guang)明(ming)(ming),極清(qing)凈故,于(yu)(yu)(yu)此(ci)世(shi)(shi)界(jie)所有黑(hei)山、雪山、金(jin)(jin)剛、鐵(tie)圍(wei)(wei)大(da)小諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)山,江河叢林,天(tian)(tian)人(ren)宮殿,一(yi)切(qie)(qie)境(jing)界(jie),無(wu)(wu)不照(zhao)見(jian)。譬如日出(chu),明(ming)(ming)照(zhao)世(shi)(shi)間(jian)。乃至泥犁(li)、溪谷,幽冥(ming)之處,悉(xi)大(da)開辟(pi),皆(jie)(jie)同一(yi)色(se)。猶(you)如劫水(shui)(shui)彌(mi)滿世(shi)(shi)界(jie),其(qi)中萬(wan)物(wu),沉(chen)沒(mei)不現,滉(huang)漾浩汗,唯(wei)(wei)見(jian)大(da)水(shui)(shui)。彼(bi)(bi)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)光(guang)明(ming)(ming),亦(yi)復(fu)如是(shi)。聲聞、菩(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)一(yi)切(qie)(qie)光(guang)明(ming)(ming),悉(xi)皆(jie)(jie)隱蔽,唯(wei)(wei)見(jian)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)光(guang),明(ming)(ming)耀(yao)顯(xian)赫。此(ci)會四(si)眾、天(tian)(tian)龍八(ba)部、人(ren)非人(ren)等,皆(jie)(jie)見(jian)極樂(le)(le)世(shi)(shi)界(jie),種(zhong)(zhong)種(zhong)(zhong)莊嚴。阿(a)(a)(a)(a)彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)(fo),于(yu)(yu)(yu)彼(bi)(bi)高座(zuo),威德(de)巍(wei)巍(wei),相好光(guang)明(ming)(ming),聲聞、菩(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa),圍(wei)(wei)繞(rao)恭(gong)敬。譬如須彌(mi)山王,出(chu)于(yu)(yu)(yu)海面。明(ming)(ming)現照(zhao)耀(yao),清(qing)凈平正。無(wu)(wu)有雜(za)穢,及(ji)異形類。唯(wei)(wei)是(shi)眾寶(bao)莊嚴,圣賢共住。阿(a)(a)(a)(a)難(nan)及(ji)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)菩(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)眾等,皆(jie)(jie)大(da)歡(huan)喜,踴(yong)躍作(zuo)禮(li)(li),以(yi)頭著地,稱(cheng)念(nian)南無(wu)(wu)阿(a)(a)(a)(a)彌(mi)陀三藐三佛(fo)(fo)(fo)陀。諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)天(tian)(tian)人(ren)民,以(yi)至蜎飛蠕動,睹(du)斯(si)光(guang)者,所有疾苦,莫不休止(zhi),一(yi)切(qie)(qie)憂惱,莫不解脫。悉(xi)皆(jie)(jie)慈心作(zuo)善,歡(huan)喜快樂(le)(le)。鐘磬、琴瑟、箜(kong)篌樂(le)(le)器(qi),不鼓自然皆(jie)(jie)作(zuo)五音。諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)國中,諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)天(tian)(tian)人(ren)民,各持花香(xiang),來(lai)于(yu)(yu)(yu)虛空,散作(zuo)供(gong)(gong)養。爾時極樂(le)(le)世(shi)(shi)界(jie),過于(yu)(yu)(yu)西方(fang)百千俱胝(zhi)那由他國,以(yi)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)威力,如對目前(qian),如凈天(tian)(tian)眼,觀一(yi)尋地。彼(bi)(bi)見(jian)此(ci)土,亦(yi)復(fu)如是(shi)。悉(xi)睹(du)娑婆(po)世(shi)(shi)界(jie),釋(shi)迦如來(lai),及(ji)比丘眾,圍(wei)(wei)繞(rao)說法。

【譯文】釋加(jia)牟尼(ni)佛(fo)告誡(jie)阿難說:“你們(men)如果想見無量(liang)壽佛(fo)以(yi)及西方(fang)(fang)極樂世界諸菩(pu)薩、阿羅漢等(deng)所居住的凈土,應(ying)起立面向西方(fang)(fang),即(ji)對(dui)日(ri)落之處,恭敬地行禮,稱念(nian)南無阿彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)。”

阿(a)難(nan)即刻從座位上(shang)站起來(lai),面向西方(fang);合掌(zhang)行(xing)禮而發愿道:我現在愿見極(ji)樂世界的(de)阿(a)彌陀(tuo)佛,供養伺(si)奉阿(a)彌陀(tuo)佛,并以此積累福德(de)。正(zheng)行(xing)禮之間,忽(hu)見阿(a)彌陀(tuo)佛。阿(a)彌陀(tuo)佛臉面極(ji)其廣大,面容相貌端(duan)莊威嚴,如(ru)(ru)黃(huang)金的(de)山,高(gao)高(gao)地出現在一切諸(zhu)世界上(shang)空(kong),又(you)聽(ting)聞(wen)到十方(fang)世界的(de)諸(zhu)佛如(ru)(ru)來(lai),都在稱揚贊(zan)嘆阿(a)彌陀(tuo)佛的(de)種種功德(de),天地之間無處(chu)不(bu)回響著這美好(hao)的(de)聲音,久久不(bu)斷。”

阿難稟白說:“今見(jian)(jian)西方極樂(le)世(shi)界(jie),得見(jian)(jian)所未見(jian)(jian),聞(wen)所未聞(wen)的(de)奇跡,我也(ye)愿(yuan)意高興地往(wang)(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)于那(nei)里。”世(shi)尊告(gao)訴他說:“西方極樂(le)世(shi)界(jie)的(de)往(wang)(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)者(zhe),過去曾供養伺奉無量(liang)諸佛,積累了各種福德善根,你想往(wang)(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)那(nei)里,就應當一心一意地歸依和(he)瞻仰阿彌陀佛。”

說這(zhe)(zhe)話(hua)的(de)(de)時(shi)候,阿彌陀佛(fo)(fo)即在(zai)手掌中(zhong)放出(chu)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)量的(de)(de)光(guang)(guang)(guang),普(pu)照一(yi)切(qie)(qie)諸佛(fo)(fo)世(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)。這(zhe)(zhe)時(shi)候,諸佛(fo)(fo)國皆全部顯(xian)現(xian)(xian)出(chu)來,只(zhi)在(zai)咫尺之間。因為阿彌陀佛(fo)(fo)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)比的(de)(de)光(guang)(guang)(guang)明(ming)(ming)(ming)極(ji)其清凈的(de)(de)緣故,把(ba)這(zhe)(zhe)世(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)所有(you)的(de)(de)黑(hei)山(shan)、雪山(shan)、金(jin)剛山(shan)、鐵(tie)圍山(shan)等(deng)大(da)大(da)小小的(de)(de)山(shan),把(ba)這(zhe)(zhe)世(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)所有(you)的(de)(de)江河、叢(cong)林(lin)、天人宮殿(dian)等(deng)等(deng)一(yi)切(qie)(qie)境界(jie)(jie),全都(dou)(dou)照現(xian)(xian)出(chu)來。譬如太陽升起在(zai)空中(zhong),光(guang)(guang)(guang)明(ming)(ming)(ming)普(pu)照世(shi)(shi)間,乃至照遍(bian)地獄、溪(xi)谷等(deng)幽暗(an)之處。這(zhe)(zhe)些幽暗(an)之處全都(dou)(dou)開(kai)明(ming)(ming)(ming)盡現(xian)(xian),世(shi)(shi)上一(yi)切(qie)(qie)事物(wu)(wu)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)不顯(xian)出(chu)金(jin)色(se)光(guang)(guang)(guang)芒。猶如劫水彌漫于世(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie),其中(zhong)的(de)(de)萬物(wu)(wu)沉沒(mei)不現(xian)(xian),無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)邊無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)際(ji)唯見(jian)大(da)水。阿彌陀佛(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)光(guang)(guang)(guang)明(ming)(ming)(ming)亦是(shi)這(zhe)(zhe)樣。聲聞、菩薩的(de)(de)一(yi)切(qie)(qie)光(guang)(guang)(guang)明(ming)(ming)(ming),全都(dou)(dou)隱蔽不現(xian)(xian),惟見(jian)佛(fo)(fo)光(guang)(guang)(guang)明(ming)(ming)(ming)耀顯(xian)赫。

在(zai)此聚會的四眾(zhong)弟子(zi),天龍八(ba)部、人(ren)非人(ren)等(deng),都親眼看見了(le)極樂世界的種(zhong)(zhong)種(zhong)(zhong)莊(zhuang)嚴之象。阿彌(mi)陀(tuo)佛坐在(zai)他的高座上,威嚴肅穆(mu),功德巍(wei)巍(wei),瑞相光明,與(yu)天地(di)(di)齊。聲(sheng)聞、菩薩(sa)弟子(zi)恭(gong)恭(gong)敬(jing)敬(jing)地(di)(di)圍(wei)繞(rao)在(zai)他身邊。譬如須彌(mi)山王升起于海(hai)面,光明照耀,清凈安(an)穩,沒有(you)雜染污穢,以及異形物類,只(zhi)(zhi)有(you)各種(zhong)(zhong)寶物莊(zhuang)嚴修飾,只(zhi)(zhi)有(you)圣(sheng)人(ren)與(yu)賢者(zhe)相居共住。阿難及諸菩薩(sa)眾(zhong)等(deng)皆(jie)心(xin)生大(da)(da)歡喜,歡呼雀躍,五體(ti)投地(di)(di)恭(gong)行大(da)(da)禮,口中稱念南無(wu)阿彌(mi)陀(tuo)佛。

諸(zhu)(zhu)天(tian)界人(ren)(ren)民,以(yi)至飛蠅爬(pa)蟲,凡見(jian)到(dao)阿彌陀佛(fo)光(guang)明(ming)者,所(suo)有(you)的(de)疾病痛苦,莫不(bu)消(xiao)失(shi),一(yi)(yi)切的(de)憂愁煩惱,無(wu)不(bu)解脫。人(ren)(ren)人(ren)(ren)都(dou)生發出慈善之心(xin),人(ren)(ren)人(ren)(ren)都(dou)感到(dao)歡喜快樂(le)。鐘磬琴(qin)瑟、箜篌樂(le)器(qi),不(bu)鼓不(bu)彈不(bu)吹(chui)不(bu)奏(zou)便(bian)自(zi)然地發出音樂(le)。諸(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)國(guo)中諸(zhu)(zhu)天(tian)人(ren)(ren)民各各手持鮮(xian)花(hua)、供香,來到(dao)虛(xu)空之中散下,以(yi)此供養佛(fo)世尊。那(nei)時,極樂(le)世界雖遠在西方百千俱胝(zhi)那(nei)由(you)他(ta)(ta)國(guo)度之外,以(yi)佛(fo)的(de)威(wei)力現出奇跡,如(ru)在眼(yan)前對(dui)面。又如(ru)同以(yi)天(tian)眼(yan)觀看(kan)(kan)咫(zhi)尺以(yi)外的(de)地方,自(zi)然無(wu)不(bu)清(qing)晰明(ming)見(jian)。極樂(le)世界上的(de)圣眾(zhong)看(kan)(kan)娑(suo)婆世界也同娑(suo)婆世異眾(zhong)生看(kan)(kan)他(ta)(ta)們一(yi)(yi)樣清(qing)晰明(ming)白,他(ta)(ta)們又都(dou)能看(kan)(kan)到(dao)娑(suo)婆世界上的(de)釋(shi)(shi)迦牟(mou)尼佛(fo),以(yi)及眾(zhong)比丘。眾(zhong)比丘圍繞釋(shi)(shi)迦如(ru)來,正在演(yan)說(shuo)此《大(da)乘(cheng)無(wu)量壽莊嚴清(qing)凈(jing)平等(deng)覺經(jing)》。

慈氏(shi)述見第三十九

【原文】爾時佛(fo)(fo)告阿難,及慈(ci)氏(shi)菩薩:汝見(jian)極(ji)樂世界(jie),宮殿(dian)樓閣,泉池(chi)林樹,具(ju)足微妙(miao)清凈莊嚴(yan)否(fou)(fou)?汝見(jian)欲界(jie)諸天,上至(zhi)色究竟天,雨諸香(xiang)華,遍佛(fo)(fo)剎(cha)否(fou)(fou)?阿難對曰(yue):唯(wei)然(ran)已(yi)見(jian)。汝聞(wen)(wen)阿彌陀佛(fo)(fo)大(da)音宣布一(yi)切世界(jie),化(hua)(hua)眾生(sheng)否(fou)(fou)?阿難對曰(yue):唯(wei)然(ran)已(yi)聞(wen)(wen)。佛(fo)(fo)言(yan):汝見(jian)彼國凈行之眾,游處虛空,宮殿(dian)隨身(shen),無(wu)所障(zhang)礙,遍至(zhi)十方(fang)供養諸佛(fo)(fo)否(fou)(fou)?及見(jian)彼等(deng)念佛(fo)(fo)相續否(fou)(fou)?復(fu)有(you)眾鳥(niao)住(zhu)虛空界(jie),出(chu)種種音,皆是化(hua)(hua)作,汝悉見(jian)否(fou)(fou)?慈(ci)氏(shi)白言(yan):如(ru)佛(fo)(fo)所說(shuo),一(yi)一(yi)皆見(jian)。佛(fo)(fo)告彌勒:彼國人(ren)民(min)有(you)胎生(sheng)者(zhe),汝復(fu)見(jian)否(fou)(fou)?彌勒白言(yan):世尊,我見(jian)極(ji)樂世界(jie)人(ren)住(zhu)胎者(zhe),如(ru)夜摩(mo)天,處于(yu)宮殿(dian)。又見(jian)眾生(sheng),于(yu)蓮華內(nei)結跏(jia)趺坐,自然(ran)化(hua)(hua)生(sheng)。何因緣故,彼國人(ren)民(min),有(you)胎生(sheng)者(zhe),有(you)化(hua)(hua)生(sheng)者(zhe)?

【譯文】那(nei)時候,釋迦牟尼問阿(a)難以及(ji)慈氏菩薩(sa)道:“你們(men)看(kan)見(jian)極樂世(shi)界的宮殿、樓閣、泉(quan)池、林樹(shu)是否(fou)十分(fen)微妙和清凈莊嚴?你們(men)看(kan)見(jian)欲(yu)界諸天(tian),上至(zhi)色(se)究竟天(tian),降(jiang)香花之雨,那(nei)花遍(bian)散十方佛國凈土了(le)嗎(ma)?”

阿難(nan)回答說:“都看見了(le)。”

釋迦(jia)牟(mou)尼佛(fo)又(you)問:“你們聽(ting)到阿彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)以他(ta)宏大的聲音宣(xuan)布,他(ta)將于一(yi)切世界(jie)來(lai)化(hua)度眾生(sheng)了(le)嗎?”

阿難回答(da)說:“都聽到了。”

釋(shi)迦牟(mou)尼(ni)佛(fo)又(you)說:“你(ni)們(men)看見極樂世界清凈修行的(de)圣(sheng)眾遨游虛空之中(zhong)了嗎(ma)(ma)?他(ta)們(men)所(suo)居的(de)宮(gong)殿隨在身后(hou),他(ta)們(men)飛(fei)到(dao)哪兒宮(gong)殿也跟(gen)到(dao)哪兒,竟然沒有任何障礙(ai)。你(ni)們(men)看見他(ta)們(men)如此這般(ban)地飛(fei)遍十方世界去供養諸佛(fo)了嗎(ma)(ma)?你(ni)們(men)看到(dao)他(ta)們(men)在不斷念佛(fo)嗎(ma)(ma)?各種鳥在虛空中(zhong)啼(ti)叫,發出(chu)種種聲音,都是(shi)阿彌陀佛(fo)的(de)變化(hua)所(suo)為,你(ni)們(men)全(quan)看出(chu)來了嗎(ma)(ma)?”

彌勒菩(pu)薩答道:“如佛所說(shuo),我們都一(yi)一(yi)看見(jian)了。”

釋(shi)迦(jia)牟尼佛又向(xiang)彌勒菩薩(sa)發(fa)問(wen)道:“西方極樂世界的(de)人民中(zhong)暫的(de)是(shi)胎生的(de),你(ni)看清楚了嗎?”

彌勒(le)菩薩回答說:“世尊,我看(kan)見(jian)極樂(le)世界(jie)有(you)胎生(sheng)(sheng)的(de)人,猶如夜摩天人在(zai)宮殿中。又還(huan)看(kan)見(jian)眾生(sheng)(sheng)于(yu)蓮花內(nei)結跏跌坐而自然化(hua)生(sheng)(sheng)。但這是什(shen)么(me)因緣(yuan)造成西方(fang)極樂(le)世界(jie)有(you)胎生(sheng)(sheng)者(zhe)和(he)化(hua)生(sheng)(sheng)者(zhe)兩種眾生(sheng)(sheng)的(de)呢?”

邊地疑城第四(si)十

【原文】佛(fo)(fo)告慈氏:若有(you)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),以疑(yi)(yi)惑心修諸功(gong)德,愿生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)彼國(guo)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)了佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思議智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可稱(cheng)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、大(da)乘廣智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、無(wu)(wu)等(deng)無(wu)(wu)倫最(zui)上(shang)勝(sheng)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),于此諸智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),疑(yi)(yi)惑不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信(xin)(xin)。猶信(xin)(xin)罪福,修習(xi)善(shan)本,愿生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)其國(guo)。復有(you)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),積集(ji)善(shan)根(gen),希求佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、普遍(bian)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、無(wu)(wu)等(deng)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、威德廣大(da)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思議智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。于自(zi)善(shan)根(gen),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)信(xin)(xin)。故(gu)于往生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)清凈(jing)佛(fo)(fo)國(guo),意(yi)志猶豫(yu),無(wu)(wu)所專據。然(ran)猶續念不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)絕(jue)。結其善(shan)愿為本,續得(de)往生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。是諸人等(deng),以此因緣,雖生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)彼國(guo),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)前至(zhi)無(wu)(wu)量(liang)壽所。道止佛(fo)(fo)國(guo)界邊(bian),七寶(bao)(bao)城中(zhong)。佛(fo)(fo)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)使爾,身(shen)(shen)行(xing)所作,心自(zi)趣向(xiang)。亦有(you)寶(bao)(bao)池蓮華(hua),自(zi)然(ran)受身(shen)(shen)。飲(yin)食(shi)快樂,如(ru)忉利(li)天。于其城中(zhong),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)得(de)出(chu)。所居舍宅在(zai)地,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)隨意(yi)高大(da)。于五百歲,常不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見(jian)佛(fo)(fo),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)聞經(jing)法(fa),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見(jian)菩薩聲聞圣(sheng)眾(zhong)。其人智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)慧(hui)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)明(ming),知(zhi)經(jing)復少。心不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)開解,意(yi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)歡樂。是故(gu)于彼謂之胎生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。若有(you)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),明(ming)信(xin)(xin)佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),乃至(zhi)勝(sheng)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),斷除疑(yi)(yi)惑,信(xin)(xin)己善(shan)根(gen),作諸功(gong)德,至(zhi)心回(hui)向(xiang)。皆于七寶(bao)(bao)華(hua)中(zhong),自(zi)然(ran)化生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),跏趺而(er)坐。須臾之頃(qing),身(shen)(shen)相光明(ming),智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)慧(hui)功(gong)德,如(ru)諸菩薩,具足成(cheng)就(jiu)。彌勒當知(zhi),彼化生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)者,智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)慧(hui)勝(sheng)故(gu)。其胎生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)者,五百歲中(zhong),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見(jian)三寶(bao)(bao),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知(zhi)菩薩法(fa)式,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)得(de)修習(xi)功(gong)德,無(wu)(wu)因奉事無(wu)(wu)量(liang)壽佛(fo)(fo)。當知(zhi)此人,宿世(shi)之時,無(wu)(wu)有(you)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)慧(hui),疑(yi)(yi)惑所致。

【譯文】釋迦(jia)牟(mou)尼佛(fo)(fo)告訴彌(mi)勒菩薩道:“比如(ru)有(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)眾(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)用(yong)疑(yi)惑的(de)(de)(de)(de)態度去修(xiu)(xiu)種(zhong)種(zhong)功(gong)德(de),愿(yuan)往(wang)(wang)(wang)生(sheng)西方極(ji)(ji)樂(le)(le)世(shi)界(jie)(jie),他們不(bu)(bu)理解佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)(bu)思(si)議(yi)智(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)(bu)可稱智(zhi)(zhi)、大乘廣(guang)智(zhi)(zhi)、無等無倫最上勝(sheng)智(zhi)(zhi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)奧妙(miao),對(dui)(dui)于(yu)這些(xie)佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)持(chi)懷(huai)疑(yi)而(er)不(bu)(bu)相信的(de)(de)(de)(de)態度,不(bu)(bu)過他們還相信五逆(ni)十惡等重罪以及五戒十善等福業,能(neng)(neng)造成因(yin)(yin)果報應,因(yin)(yin)而(er)修(xiu)(xiu)習為善功(gong)德(de),愿(yuan)往(wang)(wang)(wang)生(sheng)極(ji)(ji)樂(le)(le)世(shi)界(jie)(jie);還有(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)眾(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng),積累功(gong)德(de)善根,希(xi)望求得(de)佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)、普遍智(zhi)(zhi)、無等智(zhi)(zhi)、威德(de)廣(guang)大不(bu)(bu)思(si)議(yi)智(zhi)(zhi),但(dan)對(dui)(dui)自己的(de)(de)(de)(de)善根卻(que)不(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)堅定信心,因(yin)(yin)此(ci),對(dui)(dui)于(yu)是(shi)否能(neng)(neng)往(wang)(wang)(wang)生(sheng)西方極(ji)(ji)樂(le)(le)世(shi)界(jie)(jie),意志猶豫(yu)而(er)不(bu)(bu)堅定,對(dui)(dui)于(yu)自修(xiu)(xiu)善根,尚不(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)一(yi)(yi)心信奉(feng),因(yin)(yin)而(er)對(dui)(dui)于(yu)往(wang)(wang)(wang)生(sheng)佛(fo)(fo)國凈土,只是(shi)半(ban)信半(ban)疑(yi),不(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)一(yi)(yi)心專念,但(dan)他畢竟能(neng)(neng)夠繼續念佛(fo)(fo)不(bu)(bu)絕,以念佛(fo)(fo)力結成其往(wang)(wang)(wang)生(sheng)極(ji)(ji)樂(le)(le)世(shi)界(jie)(jie)的(de)(de)(de)(de)善愿(yuan),以發愿(yuan)力為依據(ju),仍得(de)以往(wang)(wang)(wang)生(sheng)西方極(ji)(ji)樂(le)(le)世(shi)界(jie)(jie)。

“上述二類人,以(yi)他們(men)(men)的(de)(de)因緣雖得(de)以(yi)往(wang)生(sheng)西方(fang)極樂世(shi)界(jie),但不能(neng)(neng)(neng)到達(da)無量壽佛(fo)的(de)(de)住(zhu)所(suo)。他們(men)(men)往(wang)生(sheng)的(de)(de)路只到極樂世(shi)界(jie)邊(bian)界(jie)上的(de)(de)七寶城中(zhong)(zhong),這并不是阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)造成(cheng)的(de)(de)。能(neng)(neng)(neng)否到達(da)佛(fo)地(di)取(qu)(qu)(qu)決(jue)于(yu)他們(men)(men)自身的(de)(de)行(xing)為(wei),取(qu)(qu)(qu)決(jue)于(yu)他們(men)(men)的(de)(de)內心取(qu)(qu)(qu)向。也有(you)(you)(you)犯有(you)(you)(you)疑(yi)惑的(de)(de)往(wang)生(sheng)者從(cong)寶池蓮花中(zhong)(zhong)自然受身,這些往(wang)生(sheng)到邊(bian)界(jie)疑(yi)城中(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)眾(zhong)生(sheng),飲食方(fang)面的(de)(de)快樂有(you)(you)(you)如忉利(li)天(tian),但其在七寶城中(zhong)(zhong)不能(neng)(neng)(neng)得(de)以(yi)外出,只能(neng)(neng)(neng)居住(zhu)在平地(di)住(zhu)宅中(zhong)(zhong),不能(neng)(neng)(neng)像其他極樂世(shi)界(jie)的(de)(de)圣眾(zhong)那樣隨意上升(sheng)虛(xu)空。在五百年之中(zhong)(zhong),不能(neng)(neng)(neng)見到阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo),不能(neng)(neng)(neng)聽聞(wen)佛(fo)說經(jing)法,不能(neng)(neng)(neng)見到菩薩、聲聞(wen)圣眾(zhong)。這些人雖有(you)(you)(you)小(xiao)智(zhi)而(er)不明達(da),對(dui)于(yu)佛(fo)法經(jing)典又知之不多,心靈不得(de)開解,精神(shen)不得(de)歡樂,所(suo)以(yi)邊(bian)地(di)疑(yi)城中(zhong)(zhong)稱這些人為(wei)‘胎(tai)生(sheng)’。

“也(ye)有眾生(sheng)明確地信奉(feng)佛智、乃至勝(sheng)智,斷除對佛的(de)所(suo)有疑惑;同時也(ye)堅信自己的(de)善(shan)(shan)根,從而作諸功德(de)善(shan)(shan)事,全心全意(yi)地回向凈土,這些眾生(sheng)便全都得于七寶(bao)蓮花中(zhong)(zhong)自然化生(sheng),結(jie)跏(jia)趺(fu)而坐(zuo)。片刻之(zhi)間,身(shen)相形貌放射光(guang)明,其人智慧(hui)功德(de),具(ju)足如同諸菩(pu)薩。彌(mi)勒你應(ying)當知道(dao),這些化生(sheng)者之(zhi)所(suo)以得化生(sheng),是他們的(de)智慧(hui)超過上述(shu)胎(tai)生(sheng)者。胎(tai)生(sheng)者,在(zai)五百年中(zhong)(zhong)不(bu)得見佛法僧三(san)寶(bao),不(bu)得見菩(pu)薩作法儀式,不(bu)得修習功德(de),不(bu)能(neng)得到奉(feng)事無量壽(shou)佛的(de)條件。應(ying)當知道(dao),這是因為這些人在(zai)前世的(de)時候,沒(mei)有智慧(hui)而心生(sheng)疑惑所(suo)造(zao)成。”
