簡介
妙(miao)果(guo)寺位于浙(zhe)江省溫州市松(song)臺山南麓。系東(dong)(dong)甌著(zhu)名古剎,始創(chuang)于唐神龍年間(705年),為一代宗(zong)(zong)師(shi)宿覺大(da)師(shi)所(suo)建。盛于宋,高僧(seng)繼忠(zhong)大(da)師(shi)曾卓錫方丈,大(da)振宗(zong)(zong)風,一度成為東(dong)(dong)南沿海朝圣之(zhi)名剎。
妙(miao)果寺(si)(si)于(yu)清順治十四年曾(ceng)毀于(yu)一場大火,雖于(yu)康熙十四年重修,但規模已(yi)非昔日可比。后開(kai)拓公路時妙(miao)果寺(si)(si)被拆除(chu),其間文物(wu)、大師舍利、宋鎏金銅佛及(ji)大師生平小石碑(bei)現藏華東文物(wu)館(guan)。妙(miao)果寺(si)(si)作為浙(zhe)江省(sheng)政府(fu)批準重點(dian)對(dui)外開(kai)放寺(si)(si)院(yuan)。
建筑
1983年(nian)修復(fu)重(zhong)建(jian)(jian),重(zhong)建(jian)(jian)前后(hou)長達十余年(nian)之久,現在天王殿(dian)、大雄(xiong)(xiong)寶(bao)(bao)殿(dian)、觀音閣(ge)及兩樓(lou)房,雕梁畫棟,金碧輝(hui)煌;飛(fei)檐斗拱,氣勢雄(xiong)(xiong)渾,全國政協副主(zhu)席趙樸初親書(shu)“大雄(xiong)(xiong)寶(bao)(bao)殿(dian)”,書(shu)壇巨匠沙孟海額書(shu)“妙(miao)果(guo)寺”,96年(nian)佛學大師南懷(huai)瑾行生書(shu)“宿覺名山”匾(bian)(bian),端莊矯(jiao)健,金光(guang)閃(shan)(shan)閃(shan)(shan),書(shu)壇諸子紛(fen)紛(fen)撰書(shu)匾(bian)(bian)額楹(ying)聯為(wei)妙(miao)果(guo)寺增輝(hui)添彩。
大殿正(zheng)柱有原住持雪生(sheng)老(lao)和尚生(sheng)前撰聯:“凈光塔院,普覺鐘聲,追思唐代宗風永嘉獨著(zhu);甌浦云峰,霞潭月色(se),想見宋僧道積妙果同懷。”后殿有現住持達崇法(fa)師聯:“七寶(bao)莊嚴(yan),一角小山藏世界;三乘庇(bi)蔭,十方大地涌潮音。”
住持
妙果寺(si)(si)現任(ren)(ren)住(zhu)持(chi)達照法師(shi)(shi),(達照法師(shi)(shi),俗姓林(lin),筆(bi)名天臺(tai)(tai)子,1972年出生(sheng)于(yu)(yu)浙江省文(wen)成縣(xian),1989年于(yu)(yu)七(qi)(qi)(qi)甲寺(si)(si)依了(le)識長(chang)老出家(jia),屬于(yu)(yu)嫡傳天臺(tai)(tai)教(jiao)(jiao)觀第(di)46代。現任(ren)(ren)普陀(tuo)山(shan)佛學院研究生(sheng)導師(shi)(shi)、蘇州(zhou)戒幢佛學研究所(suo)研究員(yuan)(yuan)、湖南省常(chang)(chang)德市(shi)禪學會(hui)名譽會(hui)長(chang)、溫州(zhou)市(shi)佛教(jiao)(jiao)協會(hui)副會(hui)長(chang)、溫州(zhou)佛教(jiao)(jiao)永嘉(jia)禪學會(hui)會(hui)長(chang)、溫州(zhou)市(shi)妙果寺(si)(si)住(zhu)持(chi)、第(di)七(qi)(qi)(qi)屆文(wen)成縣(xian)政協常(chang)(chang)委、文(wen)成縣(xian)佛教(jiao)(jiao)協會(hui)會(hui)長(chang)、文(wen)成縣(xian)七(qi)(qi)(qi)甲寺(si)(si)住(zhu)持(chi)、安福(fu)寺(si)(si)修(xiu)建委員(yuan)(yuan)會(hui)主(zhu)任(ren)(ren)。)
豬頭鐘
相傳宋(song)神宗元豐年(nian)間(1078-1085),在繼(ji)忠(zhong)大(da)師主持妙果寺(si)(si)(si)時(shi),有(you)一(yi)客(ke)僧來寺(si)(si)(si)掛(gua)單修身(shen),其(qi)(qi)貌若(ruo)愚,然(ran)(ran)出(chu)語必合宗乘(cheng)。日間入市(shi)(shi)丐化(hua),布施(shi)所得,悉購(gou)豬(zhu)(zhu)頭歸寺(si)(si)(si)酣酌,繼(ji)忠(zhong)大(da)師觀之(zhi)若(ruo)無其(qi)(qi)事(shi),任其(qi)(qi)息跡去(qu)留。一(yi)日負鋤至(zhi)寺(si)(si)(si)旁(pang)山麓掘一(yi)土(tu)(tu)井,將(jiang)(jiang)所剩豬(zhu)(zhu)頭骨悉藏井內,壓一(yi)大(da)石,并以土(tu)(tu)泥涂封,對(dui)人(ren)(ren)說:“吾歷年(nian)所募(mu)鑄一(yi)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),今七(qi)七(qi)日后(hou)于此成(cheng)就(jiu)”。此后(hou)就(jiu)不(bu)見客(ke)僧蹤跡。時(shi)逾月余,寺(si)(si)(si)僧掘土(tu)(tu)果見一(yi)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),猛熱熾然(ran)(ran),高約三尺,非銅非鐵,酷似青(qing)石,音響鏗明,頂(ding)上(shang)二豬(zhu)(zhu)首拼作鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu),迥異(yi)尋常(chang)(chang)捕牢獅龍之(zhi)慣例。故人(ren)(ren)皆以“豬(zhu)(zhu)頭鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”名之(zhi)。傳說因(yin)其(qi)(qi)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)未到49日,火未退完,敲擊時(shi)城內外常(chang)(chang)有(you)火災出(chu)現(xian)。民國(guo)八年(nian)(1919),國(guo)威不(bu)振,本地任某請來上(shang)海技師將(jiang)(jiang)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu)截斷,竊去(qu)國(guo)外。自此,神鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)就(jiu)不(bu)復(fu)懸掛(gua),于是建“古鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)亭”藏之(zhi)。因(yin)該鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu)活像(xiang)兩個豬(zhu)(zhu)頭,故人(ren)(ren)稱(cheng)“豬(zhu)(zhu)頭鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”。也有(you)人(ren)(ren)說該鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)原名“濟陀鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”,人(ren)(ren)們(men)諧稱(cheng)“豬(zhu)(zhu)頭鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”。我們(men)對(dui)這傳說無須認真(zhen)去(qu)尋根究底(di),"假作真(zhen)時(shi)真(zhen)亦假,無為(wei)有(you)處有(you)還無",長留在人(ren)(ren)們(men)的想像(xiang)中豈不(bu)更好(hao)。1987年(nian)重建鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)亭,亭聯:“稽于史(shi)實,松臺山上(shang)仙(xian)人(ren)(ren)井;留得民謠,妙果寺(si)(si)(si)中豬(zhu)(zhu)頭鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。”亭內的無紐“濟陀鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”,為(wei)宋(song)時(shi)物(wu),高1.3米(mi),直徑為(wei)0.8米(mi)。豬(zhu)(zhu)頭鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)現(xian)已由(you)市(shi)(shi)文物(wu)館追還。
