簡介
妙果寺位于浙(zhe)江(jiang)省溫(wen)州市松(song)臺(tai)山(shan)南麓。系(xi)東(dong)甌著名(ming)古剎,始創于唐神龍年間(705年),為一代宗(zong)師宿覺大(da)師所建。盛于宋,高僧繼(ji)忠大(da)師曾(ceng)卓錫方丈(zhang),大(da)振宗(zong)風,一度(du)成為東(dong)南沿海(hai)朝圣之名(ming)剎。
妙(miao)(miao)果寺(si)于清順(shun)治十四年曾毀(hui)于一場(chang)大火,雖于康熙十四年重(zhong)修(xiu),但規模已非昔日(ri)可比。后(hou)開(kai)拓(tuo)公路時妙(miao)(miao)果寺(si)被(bei)拆除,其間文物、大師(shi)舍利(li)、宋(song)鎏金(jin)銅佛及大師(shi)生平小(xiao)石(shi)碑(bei)現藏(zang)華東文物館。妙(miao)(miao)果寺(si)作(zuo)為浙(zhe)江省政府批(pi)準重(zhong)點對外開(kai)放寺(si)院。
建筑
1983年修復(fu)重建,重建前后長達十(shi)余年之(zhi)久,現(xian)在天(tian)王殿(dian)(dian)、大雄寶殿(dian)(dian)、觀音閣及兩樓房,雕梁畫棟(dong),金碧輝煌;飛檐斗拱,氣勢(shi)雄渾,全國政協副主席趙樸初親書(shu)“大雄寶殿(dian)(dian)”,書(shu)壇巨匠沙孟海額書(shu)“妙(miao)果寺”,96年佛(fo)學大師(shi)南懷(huai)瑾行生書(shu)“宿覺(jue)名(ming)山”匾,端莊矯健(jian),金光閃閃,書(shu)壇諸子紛紛撰書(shu)匾額楹聯(lian)為妙(miao)果寺增(zeng)輝添彩。
大殿(dian)正柱有(you)原(yuan)住持雪(xue)生老和尚生前撰(zhuan)聯:“凈光塔院,普覺鐘聲,追思唐代宗風(feng)永嘉獨(du)著(zhu);甌浦云(yun)峰,霞潭(tan)月色,想見宋僧道積(ji)妙果同懷(huai)。”后殿(dian)有(you)現住持達崇法師聯:“七寶莊嚴,一角小(xiao)山藏(zang)世界;三乘庇蔭,十方(fang)大地涌潮音。”
住持
妙(miao)果寺(si)(si)現(xian)任住持(chi)達(da)(da)照(zhao)法(fa)師(shi),(達(da)(da)照(zhao)法(fa)師(shi),俗姓林,筆名(ming)天臺(tai)子(zi),1972年出(chu)生(sheng)于(yu)浙江省文成(cheng)縣(xian),1989年于(yu)七甲(jia)寺(si)(si)依了識長(chang)老出(chu)家(jia),屬于(yu)嫡傳天臺(tai)教觀第46代。現(xian)任普(pu)陀(tuo)山(shan)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)學院研(yan)究(jiu)生(sheng)導(dao)師(shi)、蘇州戒(jie)幢佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)學研(yan)究(jiu)所研(yan)究(jiu)員、湖南省常(chang)德市禪(chan)學會(hui)(hui)名(ming)譽會(hui)(hui)長(chang)、溫(wen)州市佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教協會(hui)(hui)副會(hui)(hui)長(chang)、溫(wen)州佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教永嘉禪(chan)學會(hui)(hui)會(hui)(hui)長(chang)、溫(wen)州市妙(miao)果寺(si)(si)住持(chi)、第七屆文成(cheng)縣(xian)政協常(chang)委、文成(cheng)縣(xian)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教協會(hui)(hui)會(hui)(hui)長(chang)、文成(cheng)縣(xian)七甲(jia)寺(si)(si)住持(chi)、安福寺(si)(si)修建委員會(hui)(hui)主任。)
豬頭鐘
相傳(chuan)宋神宗(zong)元(yuan)豐年間(1078-1085),在(zai)繼(ji)(ji)忠大(da)師(shi)(shi)主持妙果寺(si)時(shi)(shi)(shi),有(you)一(yi)(yi)客僧來寺(si)掛單修身,其(qi)貌若愚,然(ran)出語必合(he)宗(zong)乘。日間入市丐化,布施(shi)所得,悉購(gou)豬(zhu)頭(tou)歸寺(si)酣酌(zhuo),繼(ji)(ji)忠大(da)師(shi)(shi)觀(guan)之若無(wu)其(qi)事,任其(qi)息跡去留(liu)。一(yi)(yi)日負(fu)鋤至寺(si)旁山麓掘一(yi)(yi)土井,將所剩(sheng)豬(zhu)頭(tou)骨(gu)悉藏(zang)井內,壓(ya)一(yi)(yi)大(da)石(shi),并以土泥涂封,對(dui)人(ren)(ren)說(shuo):“吾歷年所募(mu)鑄一(yi)(yi)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),今七(qi)七(qi)日后(hou)于(yu)此成就(jiu)”。此后(hou)就(jiu)不(bu)見客僧蹤(zong)跡。時(shi)(shi)(shi)逾月余,寺(si)僧掘土果見一(yi)(yi)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),猛熱熾然(ran),高(gao)約三(san)尺,非銅非鐵(tie),酷似青石(shi),音響鏗明,頂上二豬(zhu)首拼作鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu),迥異尋(xun)常(chang)捕牢(lao)獅龍之慣例(li)。故人(ren)(ren)皆以“豬(zhu)頭(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”名之。傳(chuan)說(shuo)因(yin)其(qi)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)未到49日,火(huo)(huo)未退完,敲擊時(shi)(shi)(shi)城內外常(chang)有(you)火(huo)(huo)災(zai)出現(xian)。民國(guo)八(ba)年(1919),國(guo)威不(bu)振,本地任某請來上海技師(shi)(shi)將鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu)截斷(duan),竊去國(guo)外。自此,神鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)就(jiu)不(bu)復懸(xuan)掛,于(yu)是建(jian)“古鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)亭(ting)”藏(zang)之。因(yin)該鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的(de)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu)活像(xiang)兩個豬(zhu)頭(tou),故人(ren)(ren)稱“豬(zhu)頭(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”。也(ye)有(you)人(ren)(ren)說(shuo)該鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)原(yuan)名“濟陀鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”,人(ren)(ren)們諧稱“豬(zhu)頭(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”。我(wo)們對(dui)這(zhe)傳(chuan)說(shuo)無(wu)須認真(zhen)去尋(xun)根究底(di),"假(jia)作真(zhen)時(shi)(shi)(shi)真(zhen)亦(yi)假(jia),無(wu)為(wei)(wei)有(you)處有(you)還無(wu)",長留(liu)在(zai)人(ren)(ren)們的(de)想(xiang)像(xiang)中(zhong)豈不(bu)更(geng)好。1987年重建(jian)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)亭(ting),亭(ting)聯:“稽于(yu)史(shi)實,松臺(tai)山上仙人(ren)(ren)井;留(liu)得民謠,妙果寺(si)中(zhong)豬(zhu)頭(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。”亭(ting)內的(de)無(wu)紐“濟陀鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”,為(wei)(wei)宋時(shi)(shi)(shi)物,高(gao)1.3米,直徑為(wei)(wei)0.8米。豬(zhu)頭(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)現(xian)已由市文物館追還。
