江蘇省(sheng)(sheng)昆山中(zhong)學(xue)創辦于1946年(nian)(nian),1960年(nian)(nian)被(bei)列為(wei)(wei)省(sheng)(sheng)重(zhong)點(dian)(dian)中(zhong)學(xue),1980年(nian)(nian)成為(wei)(wei)江蘇省(sheng)(sheng)首(shou)批(pi)辦好的省(sheng)(sheng)重(zhong)點(dian)(dian)中(zhong)學(xue),1992年(nian)(nian)被(bei)確認為(wei)(wei)省(sheng)(sheng)合格重(zhong)點(dian)(dian)中(zhong)學(xue),2000年(nian)(nian)被(bei)確認為(wei)(wei)國家級示范性普通高(gao)(gao)中(zhong),2004年(nian)(nian)轉評為(wei)(wei)江蘇省(sheng)(sheng)首(shou)批(pi)四星級普通高(gao)(gao)中(zhong),2019年(nian)(nian)獲評江蘇省(sheng)(sheng)高(gao)(gao)品質示范高(gao)(gao)中(zhong)首(shou)批(pi)建(jian)設培育學(xue)校。
學校(xiao)現(xian)(xian)坐落于昆(kun)山市陽澄湖(hu)科(ke)技教(jiao)(jiao)育園(yuan)區傳(chuan)是(shi)路516號,占地(di)面(mian)積300畝(mu),建筑(zhu)面(mian)積119070平方米,投入資金7.2億(yi)元(yuan)。新(xin)(xin)校(xiao)區總體(ti)布局充分(fen)體(ti)現(xian)(xian)“現(xian)(xian)代氣(qi)息、水(shui)鄉(xiang)特(te)色(se)、文(wen)化(hua)傳(chuan)承”主題和(he)“現(xian)(xian)代化(hua)、生態化(hua)、人文(wen)化(hua)”特(te)色(se),設置教(jiao)(jiao)學區、運動區、生活區和(he)景觀(guan)區四大區域,有機融合了學校(xiao)傳(chuan)統文(wen)化(hua)、水(shui)鄉(xiang)園(yuan)林文(wen)化(hua)和(he)江(jiang)南歷(li)史文(wen)化(hua)元(yuan)素,形成(cheng)了分(fen)合有序、流線合理(li)、自然融合的(de)公園(yuan)式(shi)“水(shui)韻校(xiao)園(yuan)”。新(xin)(xin)校(xiao)區的(de)建成(cheng)和(he)投入使(shi)用(yong)是(shi)學校(xiao)教(jiao)(jiao)育事業躍上新(xin)(xin)臺階、實(shi)現(xian)(xian)新(xin)(xin)發展(zhan)的(de)重要標志(zhi)。
截止于2019年,學(xue)校現(xian)有高(gao)中(zhong)階段三個年級54個班級,學(xue)生2640人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),教(jiao)(jiao)職工246人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),專(zhuan)任(ren)(ren)教(jiao)(jiao)師235人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)。昆山市(shi)級以上(shang)骨(gu)干(gan)教(jiao)(jiao)師占(zhan)專(zhuan)任(ren)(ren)教(jiao)(jiao)師總數(shu)的66%,其(qi)中(zhong),江蘇(su)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)民教(jiao)(jiao)育家培(pei)養對象1人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),國培(pei)計劃主持專(zhuan)家1人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),江蘇(su)省(sheng)教(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)名師1人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),正高(gao)級教(jiao)(jiao)師8人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),江蘇(su)省(sheng)特級教(jiao)(jiao)師6人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),省(sheng)“333”高(gao)層次人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)才培(pei)養對象6人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),姑蘇(su)教(jiao)(jiao)育人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)才9人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),蘇(su)州市(shi)名教(jiao)(jiao)師9人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),蘇(su)州市(shi)學(xue)科帶頭人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)29人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),省(sheng)市(shi)名師、骨(gu)干(gan)教(jiao)(jiao)師數(shu)量居于蘇(su)州大市(shi)乃至(zhi)全省(sheng)前(qian)列。
