南京市芳草園小學(xue)位(wei)于(yu)人文(wen)薈萃、教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育資(zi)源豐富的龍(long)江地(di)區(qu)(qu)秦淮河畔。學(xue)校(xiao)于(yu)1999年(nian)9月正(zheng)式開辦(ban),2007年(nian)獨立(li)辦(ban)學(xue),2011年(nian)成立(li)芳草園小學(xue)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育集(ji)團。目前學(xue)校(xiao)共(gong)有(you)(you)兩個(ge)校(xiao)區(qu)(qu):龍(long)江校(xiao)區(qu)(qu)和(he)鳳凰校(xiao)區(qu)(qu)。龍(long)江校(xiao)區(qu)(qu)現有(you)(you)53個(ge)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)班(ban),在校(xiao)學(xue)生2600余名(ming);鳳凰校(xiao)區(qu)(qu)共(gong)有(you)(you)16個(ge)班(ban)級(ji),學(xue)生近600名(ming)。全(quan)校(xiao)共(gong)有(you)(you)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)職(zhi)工176位(wei)。
學校(xiao)場地開闊,環境(jing)幽雅,綠化充分;學校(xiao)教學設備(bei)先(xian)進,專用教室(shi)齊全,這是一座充滿生命力和現代氣息(xi)的城(cheng)市花園式小學。
學校(xiao)以(yi)(yi)“陽(yang)光(guang)(guang)兒童(tong)教育”為(wei)辦學特色,以(yi)(yi)“孩子的笑臉是(shi)學校(xiao)陽(yang)光(guang)(guang)”為(wei)核心辦學理念,旨在培養“端行(xing)、悅思、溫情、健美”的陽(yang)光(guang)(guang)兒童(tong),積極構建(jian)一座(zuo)溫暖的“陽(yang)光(guang)(guang)城”。

學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)確(que)立了(le)“陽(yang)光兒(er)童”的培養目(mu)標(biao):端行(xing)、悅(yue)思、溫情、健(jian)美。學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)課(ke)(ke)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)建設分為兩大部分:學(xue)(xue)科(ke)素養拓展課(ke)(ke)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)和(he)(he)綜(zong)合素養特色課(ke)(ke)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)。學(xue)(xue)科(ke)素養拓展課(ke)(ke)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)下轄基礎學(xue)(xue)科(ke)課(ke)(ke)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)和(he)(he)學(xue)(xue)科(ke)延伸課(ke)(ke)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng);綜(zong)合素養特色課(ke)(ke)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng),則包含綜(zong)合能力提(ti)升課(ke)(ke)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)和(he)(he)興(xing)趣修養培養課(ke)(ke)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)。學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)提(ti)出了(le)“讓學(xue)(xue)”的課(ke)(ke)堂(tang)主(zhu)張,力求給學(xue)(xue)生(sheng)更(geng)多(duo)(duo)的個性化學(xue)(xue)習機(ji)會,制定(ding)了(le)《芳草(cao)園(yuan)小(xiao)學(xue)(xue)教學(xue)(xue)新常規(gui)》,將課(ke)(ke)堂(tang)教學(xue)(xue)的目(mu)標(biao)定(ding)位(wei)為“樂(le)于(yu)學(xue)(xue)習”“自(zi)主(zhu)探究”“同伴(ban)互助”“多(duo)(duo)元評價”。無論是(shi)課(ke)(ke)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)建設還是(shi)課(ke)(ke)堂(tang)主(zhu)張,都是(shi)指向于(yu)“端行(xing)、悅(yue)思、溫情、健(jian)美”的“陽(yang)光兒(er)童”培養目(mu)標(biao)的實現。
學校秉持“為(wei)孩子設(she)計,讓孩子管理(li),給孩子展示”的初衷,為(wei)兒童量身設(she)計了(le) “六年影(ying)響一生”的活動課程。“六年百書工程”的提(ti)出,學校旨在讓每個孩子六年內能多(duo)讀(du)(du)近(jin)一百本書,將閱讀(du)(du)真正落到實(shi)處。讀(du)(du)書節、藝術節、科技節、 心育節、健身節、遠足節等(deng)校本節日(ri)的開展,豐(feng)富了(le)學生校園生活。“能豆(dou)豆(dou)議事會”、“能豆(dou)豆(dou)講壇”等(deng)“能豆(dou)豆(dou)”項目以及自(zi)主管理(li)體系的建立(li),實(shi)現了(le)“陽光兒童”的自(zi)主成長與(yu)管理(li)。
