竹溪寺塬名小西天寺,建于明永歷年間,為最早創建的寺院。因臨竹溪而改名為竹溪寺,,庇鄰體育公園與忠烈祠。竹溪寺歷經多次整修,現貌為中西合璧,與塬貌大不相同;屋頂采宮殿式,大門則為西式的落地窗,造型特殊,寺貌宏偉不凡。正殿是大雄寶殿,供奉釋迦牟尼佛;后殿為觀音殿,左右羅列十八羅漢,旁祀媽祖、關帝神像。

基本介紹

佛(fo)教寺(si)院竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)曾為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)清代臺(tai)灣(wan)佛(fo)教三(san)大名剎(cha)之一。清初(chu)至民國初(chu)年(nian),該寺(si)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)臺(tai)灣(wan)佛(fo)教徒崇仰的(de)中心,有(you)(you)重要影響。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)前臨(lin)溪(xi)(xi)流(liu),沿畔幽篁成蔭。三(san)川門(men)、拜(bai)殿(dian)(dian)、主殿(dian)(dian)與后(hou)殿(dian)(dian)均為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)三(san)層樓,屋頂采歇山(shan)重詹(zhan)的(de)宮殿(dian)(dian)布局,飾有(you)(you)斗栱、彩(cai)繪、雀替、重詹(zhan)等(deng)華麗雕(diao)琢,兩側還有(you)(you)鐘鼓樓及禪(chan)房,內部采西(xi)式結構,大門(men)則為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)落地窗,外觀呈中西(xi)合(he)璧,白墻綠瓦佇立于溪(xi)(xi)谷低地,形勢壯闊(kuo)雄(xiong)(xiong)偉,僅存山(shan)門(men)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)昔日舊構,燕(yan)脊重詹(zhan),紅磚黑瓦、鏤空(kong)雕(diao)花,上(shang)書“竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)古寺(si)”,顯(xian)得格(ge)外古樸。正(zheng)殿(dian)(dian)是大雄(xiong)(xiong)寶殿(dian)(dian),供奉(feng)釋迦牟尼佛(fo);后(hou)殿(dian)(dian)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)觀音殿(dian)(dian),左(zuo)右(you)羅列十(shi)八(ba)羅漢,旁祀媽祖、關帝神(shen)像(xiang);兩尊白象雄(xiong)(xiong)踞拜(bai)殿(dian)(dian)前左(zuo)右(you)兩側,益增禪(chan)林氣息。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)歷史(shi)悠久,寺(si)內題(ti)詩、聯句(ju)和匾額相當多(duo),大雄(xiong)(xiong)寶殿(dian)(dian)內所懸“了然(ran)世(shi)界”,名列府(fu)城(cheng)三(san)大名匾,頗富禪(chan)意。

臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)(wan)省古(gu)老的寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)(yuan)。位(wei)于(yu)臺(tai)(tai)南市區。創建(jian)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)眾說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo)紛紜,一(yi)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo)建(jian)于(yu)明(ming)(ming)·永(yong)(yong)歷十(shi)(shi)(shi)五年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1661),或(huo)(huo)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo)十(shi)(shi)(shi)八(ba)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)末(mo)、十(shi)(shi)(shi)九年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)初(chu)(chu);一(yi)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo)清(qing)(qing)(qing)(qing)·康熙(xi)(xi)二(er)(er)(er)(er)十(shi)(shi)(shi)二(er)(er)(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)1683所(suo)建(jian),或(huo)(huo)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo)三十(shi)(shi)(shi)二(er)(er)(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)。初(chu)(chu)名(ming)(ming)(ming)小西(xi)天寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),以寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)旁綠竹(zhu)(zhu)茂密,林(lin)中溪(xi)(xi)流激湍,故(gu)又名(ming)(ming)(ming)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)。后(hou)(hou)遭風雨侵蝕,堂宇陳腐不(bu)堪,經(jing)清(qing)(qing)(qing)(qing)·乾(qian)隆、嘉慶、光(guang)緒年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)的三度維修(xiu),寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)貌(mao)(mao)煥然一(yi)新;復經(jing)民(min)(min)初(chu)(chu)以來歷代(dai)住持的增建(jian),遂具今日規(gui)模。本(ben)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)與(yu)開元、法華二(er)(er)(er)(er)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)為(wei)(wei)清(qing)(qing)(qing)(qing)末(mo)至民(min)(min)初(chu)(chu),全臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)(wan)佛教的大本(ben)營。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)原(yuan)(yuan)名(ming)(ming)(ming)小西(xi)天寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),因臨竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)而(er)改名(ming)(ming)(ming)為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),位(wei)在巿區南側(ce),建(jian)于(yu)明(ming)(ming)永(yong)(yong)歷年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)歷經(jing)多次整修(xiu),現(xian)貌(mao)(mao)為(wei)(wei)中西(xi)合璧,與(yu)原(yuan)(yuan)貌(mao)(mao)大不(bu)相同(tong);屋頂采宮殿(dian)式,大門為(wei)(wei)西(xi)式落地窗,造型(xing)特別。正殿(dian)大雄寶殿(dian),供奉釋迦牟尼(ni)佛;后(hou)(hou)殿(dian)為(wei)(wei)觀(guan)(guan)音,羅(luo)(luo)列十(shi)(shi)(shi)八(ba)羅(luo)(luo)漢,旁祀(si)媽祖、關帝神像(xiang)。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)歷史悠久。值得(de)前往觀(guan)(guan)覽。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)依山(shan)傍水(shui),竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)潺潺流過,上有吊橋連對岸,溪(xi)(xi)畔繁花茂盛,竹(zhu)(zhu)林(lin)蒼翠,頗(po)為(wei)(wei)清(qing)(qing)(qing)(qing)幽。臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)(wan)較早的寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)(yuan)。永(yong)(yong)歷三十(shi)(shi)(shi)七(qi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)即(ji)清(qing)(qing)(qing)(qing)·康熙(xi)(xi)二(er)(er)(er)(er)十(shi)(shi)(shi) 二(er)(er)(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1683)鄭成功裔孫鄭克塽降(jiang)清(qing)(qing)(qing)(qing),經(jing)設一(yi)府三縣(xian),府名(ming)(ming)(ming)臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)(wan)府,縣(xian)為(wei)(wei)臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)(wan)、鳳山(shan)及諸羅(luo)(luo)等三縣(xian)。康熙(xi)(xi)三十(shi)(shi)(shi)二(er)(er)(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)(wan)府第(di)(di)二(er)(er)(er)(er)任知府吳國柱倡議于(yu)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)旁建(jian)書(shu)院(yuan)(yuan),士庶輦石(shi)輸(shu)材,諭(yu)禁不(bu)能止,稱(cheng)為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)書(shu)院(yuan)(yuan),經(jing)塑肖像(xiang)祀(si)焉。此(ci)據清(qing)(qing)(qing)(qing)領后(hou)(hou)十(shi)(shi)(shi)一(yi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),即(ji)康熙(xi)(xi)三十(shi)(shi)(shi)三年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)較早纂(zuan)修(xiu)《臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)(wan)府志(zhi)(zhi)》有所(suo)記(ji)載。該志(zhi)(zhi)對清(qing)(qing)(qing)(qing)領后(hou)(hou)創建(jian)之(zhi)各(ge)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)均有記(ji)述,竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)則未(wei)記(ji),似非在清(qing)(qing)(qing)(qing)領十(shi)(shi)(shi)一(yi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)內新建(jian),因年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)已(yi)久,修(xiu)志(zhi)(zhi)時已(yi)無法查考,或(huo)(huo)未(wei)便明(ming)(ming)記(ji)所(suo)致(zhi),其創建(jian)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)即(ji)可證實系建(jian)自明(ming)(ming)鄭時期(qi)。又據三十(shi)(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)第(di)(di)二(er)(er)(er)(er)任臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)(wan)府同(tong)知齊體(ti)物所(suo)詠(yong)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)詩,有梵宮偏得(de)占名(ming)(ming)(ming)山(shan),屼作蠻州第(di)(di)一(yi)觀(guan)(guan)之(zhi)句,其含義(yi)為(wei)(wei)此(ci)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)占得(de)名(ming)(ming)(ming)山(shan)且為(wei)(wei)臺(tai)(tai)島之(zhi)第(di)(di)一(yi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)(yuan)。

建筑設計

全臺(tai)灣看(kan)起來,要以(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)竹溪(xi)寺(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)大(da)殿(dian)(dian)為較最大(da),寺(si)(si)內(nei)(nei)主(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)為觀音菩薩,寺(si)(si)廟(miao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)布(bu)局大(da)多是(shi)正(zheng)面(mian)(mian)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)路為山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)門(men)(men),山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)門(men)(men)內(nei)(nei)左右分(fen)別為鐘樓、鼓樓,正(zheng)面(mian)(mian)是(shi)天(tian)(tian)王(wang)(wang)殿(dian)(dian),殿(dian)(dian)內(nei)(nei)有(you)(you)四大(da)金剛塑像,后(hou)面(mian)(mian)依次為大(da)雄寶殿(dian)(dian)和(he)藏(zang)經(jing)樓,僧房、齋(zhai)堂(tang)則分(fen)列正(zheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)路左右兩(liang)側。大(da)雄寶殿(dian)(dian)是(shi)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)重(zhong)(zhong)要、龐大(da)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)建筑,大(da)雄即為佛(fo)(fo)(fo)祖釋加牟尼。隋唐以(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)前(qian)(qian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si),一(yi)(yi)般(ban)在寺(si)(si)前(qian)(qian)或(huo)宅院(yuan)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)心(xin)造塔,隋唐以(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)后(hou),佛(fo)(fo)(fo)殿(dian)(dian)普遍代替(ti)了佛(fo)(fo)(fo)塔,寺(si)(si)廟(miao)內(nei)(nei)大(da)都(dou)(dou)另辟塔院(yuan)。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)不(bu)論規模(mo)地(di)點,其建筑布(bu)局是(shi)有(you)(you)一(yi)(yi)定(ding)規律的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de):平(ping)面(mian)(mian)方形,以(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)門(men)(men)殿(dian)(dian)——天(tian)(tian)王(wang)(wang)殿(dian)(dian)——大(da)雄寶殿(dian)(dian)——本寺(si)(si)主(zhu)供菩薩殿(dian)(dian)——法堂(tang)——藏(zang)經(jing)樓這條(tiao)南北縱深軸線(xian)(xian)來組織空(kong)間(jian),對稱穩重(zhong)(zhong)且整(zheng)飭嚴謹。沿著這條(tiao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)軸線(xian)(xian),前(qian)(qian)后(hou)建筑起承轉合(he),宛若(ruo)一(yi)(yi)曲前(qian)(qian)呼后(hou)應、氣(qi)韻生動的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)樂章。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)寺(si)(si)廟(miao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)建筑之美就響應在群山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)、松柏、流(liu)水、殿(dian)(dian)落與亭廊的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)相互呼應之間(jian),含蓄溫(wen)蘊,展(zhan)示出組合(he)變幻所(suo)(suo)賦予的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)和(he)諧、寧(ning)靜及韻味。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)古(gu)人在建筑格(ge)局上有(you)(you)很深的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)陰(yin)陽宇宙觀和(he)崇(chong)尚(shang)對稱、秩(zhi)序(xu)、穩定(ding)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)審美心(xin)理。因此中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)融合(he)了中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)特有(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)祭祀祖宗、天(tian)(tian)地(di)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)功能(neng)(neng)。此外,園林式(shi)建筑格(ge)局的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)在中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)也較普遍。這兩(liang)種藝術格(ge)局使中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)寺(si)(si)院(yuan)既有(you)(you)典(dian)雅莊重(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)廟(miao)堂(tang)氣(qi)氛,又極富自然情趣(qu),且意境(jing)深遠。寺(si)(si)廟(miao)建筑全國(guo)各(ge)地(di)比(bi)比(bi)皆是(shi),不(bu)論是(shi)建筑規模(mo),還是(shi)建筑藝術都(dou)(dou)是(shi)被中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)外旅游者所(suo)(suo)稱絕(jue)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。天(tian)(tian)王(wang)(wang)殿(dian)(dian)兩(liang)側是(shi)四大(da)天(tian)(tian)王(wang)(wang)彩塑像,高各(ge)八米,個個身披重(zhong)(zhong)甲(jia)。其中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)兩(liang)個形態威武,兩(liang)個神色和(he)善,俗稱四大(da)金剛。看(kan)這座門(men)(men)樓,它(ta)高達(da)20米,寬4.5米,全系青(qing)、白崗石砌疊(die)而成(cheng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),是(shi)一(yi)(yi)個三層(ceng)穹形頂(ding)(ding)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)尖拱門(men)(men),分(fen)外中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)、內(nei)(nei)三層(ceng),在外中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)兩(liang)層(ceng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)上部都(dou)(dou)有(you)(you)青(qing)石作(zuo)圓形穹頂(ding)(ding),有(you)(you)著和(he)我(wo)國(guo)古(gu)建筑的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)“藻井(jing)”相類似的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)石構圖案,頂(ding)(ding)蓋(gai)采用中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)傳統的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)蓮花圖案,門(men)(men)樓正(zheng)額橫嵌阿(a)拉伯文浮雕石刻,寫道:“真主(zhu)秉(bing)公作(zuo)證(zheng),除他外,絕(jue)無(wu)應受(shou)崇(chong)拜的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de);眾(zhong)天(tian)(tian)神和(he)一(yi)(yi)般(ban)學者,也這樣作(zuo)證(zheng),除他外,絕(jue)無(wu)應受(shou)崇(chong)拜的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),他是(shi)萬能(neng)(neng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),是(shi)至睿的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)所(suo)(suo)喜悅的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)宗教,石刻,上面(mian)(mian)記載著竹溪(xi)寺(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)創建年代重(zhong)(zhong)修時間(jian)以(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)及較早的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)名稱,門(men)(men)樓頂(ding)(ding)層(ceng)是(shi)望月臺(tai),決定(ding)起齋(zhai)日期的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)地(di)方,臺(tai)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)周圍三面(mian)(mian)建筑回字形的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)垛子,像城堞一(yi)(yi)樣,別有(you)(you)風致,平(ping)臺(tai)上原來還有(you)(you)望月樓和(he)尖塔,清朝初年倒坍了。

竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺依山傍水,松柏長青,花(hua)草(cao)遍地(di),山後水庫截河十(shi)(shi)幾里(li),碧波粼粼,涵照萬(wan)象。進(jin)了山門(men),拾級(ji)而升(sheng),各殿(dian)(dian)(dian)門(men)前的(de)(de)(de)(de)漢白玉石(shi)獅威猛無(wu)比,正(zheng)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)供(gong)奉(feng)威儀莊嚴(yan)的(de)(de)(de)(de)貼金諸佛(fo)菩薩(sa)尊(zun)者(zhe)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),端(duan)莊肅穆(mu)。偏殿(dian)(dian)(dian)供(gong)藥(yao)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)佛(fo)、地(di)藏菩請看這里(li)是(shi)寺內(nei)的(de)(de)(de)(de)宣禮塔(ta)的(de)(de)(de)(de)塔(ta)址,當年,宣禮塔(ta)塔(ta)形(xing)如柱,高(gao)聳奇偉(wei),殿(dian)(dian)(dian)正(zheng)中(zhong),佛(fo)祖(zu)釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)(jia)牟(mou)尼像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)踞(ju)蓮花(hua)座之(zhi)上,妙相莊嚴(yan),頷首俯視(shi),令(ling)人(ren)敬畏。這是(shi)中(zhong)國較高(gao)大的(de)(de)(de)(de)木(mu)雕(diao)坐式佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)之(zhi)一。釋(shi)(shi)祖(zu)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)后壁(bi)為(wei)《五(wu)(wu)(wu)十(shi)(shi)三(san)(san)參》彩繪(hui)群塑(su),共有姿態各異的(de)(de)(de)(de)大小佛(fo)教塑(su)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)一百(bai)五(wu)(wu)(wu)十(shi)(shi)尊(zun),表(biao)現的(de)(de)(de)(de)是(shi)佛(fo)經中(zhong)財童子歷(li)經磨難參拜五(wu)(wu)(wu)十(shi)(shi)三(san)(san)位(wei)《善知識》名師(shi),終于得證佛(fo)果 的(de)(de)(de)(de)故事。這座內(nei)容豐富(fu)形(xing)象生(sheng)動(dong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)壁(bi)塑(su)的(de)(de)(de)(de)主像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)是(shi)足踏鰲(ao)背,手執凈瓶的(de)(de)(de)(de)觀世(shi)音(yin)菩薩(sa),她意態瀟灑,祥和地(di)接(jie)受著善財童子的(de)(de)(de)(de)參拜。釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)(jia)牟(mou)尼造(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)靈隱寺的(de)(de)(de)(de)原釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)(jia)牟(mou)尼佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),這座佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)是(shi)在重(zhong)修寺宇時(shi),由浙江美術學院(yuan)的(de)(de)(de)(de)雕(diao)塑(su)家和民間(jian)藝人(ren)們采(cai)用唐代(dai)禪宗佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)為(wei)藍本共同精心(xin)設計的(de)(de)(de)(de)。佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)十(shi)(shi)九點六米,比原先的(de)(de)(de)(de)釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)(jia)造(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)一倍多,用近百(bai)塊香樟(zhang)木(mu)雕(diao)成(cheng)。佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)造(zao)型端(duan)莊凝重(zhong),低眉細目,氣韶生(sheng)動(dong),極度(du)具(ju)風采(cai)。藥(yao)師(shi)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)重(zhong)建(jian),殿(dian)(dian)(dian)中(zhong)供(gong)奉(feng)藥(yao)師(shi)佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)及(ji)(ji)日天、月(yue)(yue)天。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)左,有重(zhong)建(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)羅漢堂(tang),陳(chen)列五(wu)(wu)(wu)百(bai)羅漢像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)線刻石(shi)。寺院(yuan)內(nei)還有配殿(dian)(dian)(dian)四座立于院(yuan)落(luo)兩側(ce),布局嚴(yan)謹,排列有序,形(xing)成(cheng)一組完整的(de)(de)(de)(de)寺院(yuan)建(jian)筑群。第三(san)(san)進(jin)院(yuan)為(wei)藏經樓(lou),該樓(lou)當時(shi)收藏明、清版(ban)本經卷720余部,以及(ji)(ji)大量珍(zhen)貴文物。竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺自建(jian)成(cheng)、開光以來,寺內(nei)香火不(bu)斷,每(mei)逢農(nong)歷(li)四月(yue)(yue)初八廟會(hui)(hui)之(zhi)日,寺內(nei)大開道場,寺外(wai)(wai)搭臺(tai)唱(chang)戲,焚香進(jin)供(gong)者(zhe)絡繹不(bu)絕,前來逛廟者(zhe)人(ren)山人(ren)海,三(san)(san)天的(de)(de)(de)(de)廟會(hui)(hui),熱鬧非常。每(mei)逢農(nong)歷(li),還舉行(xing)盂蘭盆(pen)會(hui)(hui)儀式,備百(bai)味飲(yin)食,供(gong)養十(shi)(shi)方僧眾,放焰(yan)口,廟里(li)廟外(wai)(wai),非常隆重(zhong)。

建設沿革

寺(si)(si)(si)(si)內歷(li)史永歷(li)五(wu)年(nian)1651沈光文遇颶風(feng)漂流至臺(tai)灣,初播(bo)中國文化。十五(wu)年(nian)延王鄭成(cheng)(cheng)功率(lv)軍(jun)渡臺(tai)驅逐紅毛(mao)為(wei)(wei)復(fu)明基地(di),經(jing)(jing)置東(dong)都,設承天(tian)(tian)府(fu)并天(tian)(tian)興(xing)、萬年(nian)兩縣(xian)治(zhi)理。十八年(nian)嗣(si)王鄭經(jing)(jing) 放(fang)棄金、廈回臺(tai),改東(dong)都為(wei)(wei)東(dong)寧,升(sheng)天(tian)(tian)興(xing)、萬年(nian)二縣(xian)為(wei)(wei)二州(zhou),裁承天(tian)(tian)府(fu)。是(shi)時經(jing)(jing)州(zhou)守(shou)倡建梵宮于(yu)(yu)南郊南溪(xi)之(zhi)旁(pang),顏(yan)曰小(xiao)西天(tian)(tian)。此(ci)時有沈光文所詠詩題︰州(zhou)守(shou)新構僧(seng)舍于(yu)(yu)南溪(xi),人多(duo)往游,余未及(ji)也。可以證(zheng)明。沈氏窗蝴詩不久因(yin)寓諷鄭經(jing)(jing)之(zhi)賦(fu)被才,幾罹(li)不測,經(jing)(jing)變服入山為(wei)(wei)僧(seng),故小(xiao)西天(tian)(tian)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)系在二縣(xian)升(sheng)州(zhou)之(zhi)后,沈氏逃禪之(zhi)前(qian)(qian)(qian),亦(yi)(yi)即(ji)在十八年(nian)末,或十九年(nian)初所建,乃臺(tai)島較(jiao)早(zao)興(xing)建之(zhi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)院。嗣(si)因(yin)南溪(xi)沿畔綠(lv)竹(zhu)成(cheng)(cheng)蔭,風(feng)景宜人,另名(ming)竹(zhu)溪(xi),因(yin)是(shi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)名(ming)亦(yi)(yi)隨之(zhi)稱為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)。臺(tai)灣史學家(jia)盧嘉(jia)興(xing)考(kao)證(zheng),竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)為(wei)(wei)臺(tai)灣第一(yi)座寺(si)(si)(si)(si)院。據其(qi)考(kao)正結果,臺(tai)灣建于(yu)(yu)明朝時期的三座佛寺(si)(si)(si)(si)中,較(jiao)早(zao)的為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si),次為(wei)(wei)彌陀寺(si)(si)(si)(si),再(zai)(zai)次為(wei)(wei)龍湖(hu)巖。竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)因(yin)年(nian)代久遠,于(yu)(yu)乾隆五(wu)十四年(nian)1789經(jing)(jing)里人蔡和生(sheng)倡修,嘉(jia)慶元年(nian)1796黃鐘岳等(deng)(deng)(deng)再(zai)(zai)募捐(juan)重修,嘉(jia)慶二十三年(nian)董(dong)事劉(liu)延貴復(fu)修,光緒十二年(nian)1886候通判鮑(bao)復(fu)康再(zai)(zai)重修一(yi)次。日據時代上(shang)官玄(xuan)、林神(shen)等(deng)(deng)(deng)人見寺(si)(si)(si)(si)宇(yu)破(po)損,殿閣(ge)荒(huang)無,決(jue)心(xin)聘一(yi)住持(chi)整頓。日據時代上(shang)官玄(xuan)、林神(shen)等(deng)(deng)(deng)人見寺(si)(si)(si)(si)宇(yu)破(po)損,殿閣(ge)荒(huang)蕪,決(jue)心(xin)聘一(yi)住持(chi)整頓。竹(zhu)溪(xi)民間相傳,人死后魂(hun)魄(po)要(yao)先到寺(si)(si)(si)(si)廟報(bao)到,接受初審,根(gen)據其(qi)生(sheng)前(qian)(qian)(qian)善惡功過,決(jue)定(ding)上(shang)天(tian)(tian)堂或下(xia)地(di)獄,因(yin)此(ci)對(dui)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)廟里的祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)甚(shen)為(wei)(wei)敬畏;由于(yu)(yu)祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)對(dui)于(yu)(yu)轄(xia)(xia)區百姓行止瞭(liao)若指掌(zhang),遇有親(qin)人行蹤不明,每(mei)每(mei)到此(ci)求(qiu)簽(qian)問卜。每(mei)年(nian)農歷(li)3月(yue)3日祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)誕辰(chen),祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)按(an)例于(yu)(yu)誕辰(chen)前(qian)(qian)(qian)夜行轄(xia)(xia)境,探訪民情。竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)廟成(cheng)(cheng)為(wei)(wei)每(mei)年(nian)度熱鬧的就(jiu)是(shi)廟會。

每當到(dao)(dao)了竹溪(xi)寺(si)院,感(gan)(gan)受(shou)到(dao)(dao)一份超塵的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)清(qing)凈(jing)與(yu)安(an)祥(xiang),生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)起(qi)了一份莊嚴(yan)與(yu)寧靜(jing)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin)(xin),令(ling)人(ren)自然而(er)然的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)想進(jin)(jin)入大(da)(da)(da)殿,禮(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)三(san)拜(bai)(bai),表達(da)對諸佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)菩(pu)薩的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)禮(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)、感(gan)(gan)恩(en),而(er)從(cong)柔(rou)軟(ruan)、徐緩而(er)安(an)詳的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)彎腰禮(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)動(dong)(dong)作(zuo)里(li),感(gan)(gan)受(shou)到(dao)(dao)禮(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)者的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)安(an)定與(yu)謙卑。不(bu)解(jie)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教(jiao)(jiao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren),認為拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)迷信(xin)、崇拜(bai)(bai)偶像。事(shi)實上(shang),佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教(jiao)(jiao)是(shi)(shi)(shi)透過拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動(dong)(dong)作(zuo),禮(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)菩(pu)薩,表達(da)對佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)、法(fa)、僧三(san)寶的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)尊敬(jing)(jing)與(yu)感(gan)(gan)恩(en);同時(shi)(shi)(shi),拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)也可(ke)(ke)同時(shi)(shi)(shi)懺(chan)悔自己所(suo)造的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)惡業。所(suo)以(yi),拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)是(shi)(shi)(shi)每一位佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教(jiao)(jiao)徒首先要(yao)學(xue)習(xi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)宗教(jiao)(jiao)儀式(shi)。拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動(dong)(dong)作(zuo),是(shi)(shi)(shi)心(xin)(xin)誠意(yi)(yi)敬(jing)(jing)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)將雙(shuang)手(shou)合掌,低頭(tou)(tou)彎腰,五體投(tou)地(di)(di)(di)(di)-兩肘兩膝以(yi)及額頭(tou)(tou)著地(di)(di)(di)(di),完成頭(tou)(tou)面接觸佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)足的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)較(jiao)高敬(jing)(jing)禮(li)(li),故又稱為頂禮(li)(li)。彎腰低頭(tou)(tou)表示謙虛,承認自己的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)福(fu)(fu)德智慧不(bu)足,而(er)當五體投(tou)地(di)(di)(di)(di),接觸到(dao)(dao)大(da)(da)(da)地(di)(di)(di)(di)時(shi)(shi)(shi),則(ze)令(ling)人(ren)感(gan)(gan)動(dong)(dong)于大(da)(da)(da)地(di)(di)(di)(di)孕育眾生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),負載(zai)眾生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),涵容一切的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)精(jing)神,所(suo)以(yi),能(neng)懷(huai)著感(gan)(gan)恩(en)心(xin)(xin),以(yi)飲水思源的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin)(xin),感(gan)(gan)謝大(da)(da)(da)地(di)(di)(di)(di),感(gan)(gan)謝一切眾生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。而(er)從(cong)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動(dong)(dong)作(zuo),讓(rang)人(ren)連想到(dao)(dao),當人(ren)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)內心(xin)(xin)充(chong)滿了禮(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)、感(gan)(gan)恩(en)與(yu)懺(chan)悔時(shi)(shi)(shi),也有(you)(you)如(ru)稻(dao)穗一樣的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),因成熟而(er)下垂;而(er)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)意(yi)(yi)義,也就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)如(ru)此了。信(xin)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren)越(yue)來越(yue)多(duo)(duo),每年春節及農歷初一、十(shi)五等日期(qi),廣大(da)(da)(da)民(min)眾有(you)(you)到(dao)(dao)竹溪(xi)燒(shao)香(xiang)禮(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)、祈福(fu)(fu)求安(an)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)習(xi)慣。旅游(you)途中參觀名寺(si)大(da)(da)(da)剎(cha),燒(shao)香(xiang)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)也是(shi)(shi)(shi)很(hen)正(zheng)常的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),但是(shi)(shi)(shi),很(hen)多(duo)(duo)人(ren)并不(bu)知道(dao)如(ru)何燒(shao)香(xiang)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo),為使(shi)十(shi)方善信(xin)種植福(fu)(fu)田、廣獲(huo)法(fa)益(yi)、正(zheng)善正(zheng)行,以(yi)滿所(suo)愿,以(yi)祈共沾(zhan)法(fa)益(yi)。寺(si)廟建筑都有(you)(you)許多(duo)(duo)道(dao)門(men)(men),從(cong)哪一道(dao)門(men)(men)進(jin)(jin)入都有(you)(you)講究的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。據說只有(you)(you)開了光的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)寺(si)廟才(cai)有(you)(you)資格(ge)修(xiu)十(shi)三(san)道(dao)門(men)(men)。正(zheng)中間的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)三(san)道(dao)門(men)(men),才(cai)是(shi)(shi)(shi)供(gong)人(ren)出(chu)入的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。普(pu)通(tong)游(you)客,進(jin)(jin)門(men)(men)只能(neng)走右邊的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)那道(dao)門(men)(men),中間那道(dao)門(men)(men)叫(jiao)空門(men)(men),只有(you)(you)出(chu)家人(ren)才(cai)可(ke)(ke)以(yi)出(chu)入的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。進(jin)(jin)門(men)(men)時(shi)(shi)(shi),男客先邁左腳,女客先邁右腳,而(er)且這(zhe)步子,需邁得(de)越(yue)大(da)(da)(da)越(yue)好。同時(shi)(shi)(shi)進(jin)(jin)廟內殿宇時(shi)(shi)(shi)應遵循左門(men)(men)進(jin)(jin)右門(men)(men)出(chu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)原則(ze)。注意(yi)(yi):一定不(bu)能(neng)踩(cai)踏(ta)在(zai)門(men)(men)檻(據說門(men)(men)檻代表佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)祖(zu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)肩膀,當然不(bu)能(neng)踩(cai)踏(ta))之上(shang)。而(er)登(deng)臨第1和第6個臺階的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)行禮(li)(li)意(yi)(yi)味著一心(xin)(xin)一意(yi)(yi)和六(liu)六(liu)大(da)(da)(da)順的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)含義。禮(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)前(qian),先要(yao)凈(jing)(洗)手(shou)。香(xiang)不(bu)能(neng)叫(jiao)買而(er)應該(gai)叫(jiao)請。普(pu)通(tong)人(ren)敬(jing)(jing)香(xiang)要(yao)用左手(shou)持(據說右手(shou)不(bu)凈(jing),普(pu)通(tong)人(ren)殺(sha)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)大(da)(da)(da)多(duo)(duo)用右手(shou),三(san)炷(zhu)(zhu)為自己祈福(fu)(fu),六(liu)炷(zhu)(zhu)為兩輩人(ren)祈福(fu)(fu),九(jiu)炷(zhu)(zhu)為三(san)代人(ren)祈福(fu)(fu)。而(er)十(shi)三(san)是(shi)(shi)(shi)一個極致,十(shi)三(san)炷(zhu)(zhu)香(xiang)就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)功德圓(yuan)滿的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)高香(xiang)。先燒(shao)香(xiang)再叩頭(tou)(tou)。
