宜興(xing)洞(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)觀(guan)(guan),即天(tian)申宮、朝陽道(dao)院(yuan),緊依張公洞(dong)(dong)。唐以前洞(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)觀(guan)(guan)為(wei)(wei)寺(si)。唐開元初(chu),萬惠昭天(tian)師至此投(tou)簡封龍,奏(zou)復(fu)為(wei)(wei)道(dao)觀(guan)(guan)。唐明(ming)皇(huang)御賜匾額為(wei)(wei)“洞(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)觀(guan)(guan)”,屬縣城內的(de)通貞(zhen)觀(guan)(guan),賜封庚桑楚為(wei)(wei)“洞(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)真(zhen)人(ren)(ren)”,亢倉子九(jiu)篇為(wei)(wei)《洞(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)真(zhen)經(jing)》。道(dao)家將“洞(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)真(zhen)人(ren)(ren)”、《洞(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)真(zhen)經(jing)》歸入(ru)《道(dao)藏》,唐代時聞名(ming)于全國,被列為(wei)(wei)道(dao)教(jiao)七十二福地(di)之一。后屢遭兵毀。1994年7月,市政(zheng)府(fu)風景園(yuan)林管(guan)理部(bu)門負責籌(chou)資重建洞(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)觀(guan)(guan),依山旁洞(dong)(dong),占地(di)2萬平方米(mi),建筑面積2千平方米(mi),上(shang)下8殿。同年12月,經(jing)宜興(xing)市人(ren)(ren)民政(zheng)府(fu)批準,洞(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)觀(guan)(guan)正式(shi)列為(wei)(wei)道(dao)教(jiao)活動場所。
洞(dong)(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)觀(guan)(guan)即(ji)天(tian)(tian)(tian)申(shen)(shen)宮、朝陽道院,緊依張公洞(dong)(dong)(dong)。唐(tang)(tang)以前洞(dong)(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)觀(guan)(guan)為(wei)寺。唐(tang)(tang)開元初,萬(wan)惠昭天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)至此(ci)(ci)投簡封龍(long),奏復為(wei)道觀(guan)(guan)。唐(tang)(tang)明皇御(yu)賜匾額(e)(e)為(wei)“洞(dong)(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)觀(guan)(guan)”,屬(shu)縣城(cheng)內的通貞觀(guan)(guan),賜封庚(geng)桑楚(chu)為(wei)“洞(dong)(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)真人”,亢倉子九篇為(wei)《洞(dong)(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)真經》。道家將(jiang)“洞(dong)(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)真人”、《洞(dong)(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)真經》歸(gui)入《道藏》。后洞(dong)(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)觀(guan)(guan)遭兵毀(hui)。南唐(tang)(tang)保大(da)三(san)(san)年,道士(shi)周(zhou)敬徵繪圖(tu)奏請(qing),遂賜營建(jian)(jian)。韓熙(xi)載撰碑記云(yun):“青龍(long)將(jiang)關尹重來,白馬共(gong)胡僧卻去(qu)。”又云(yun):“奮御(yu)筆以題額(e)(e),賜洞(dong)(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)之美(mei)名(ming)。”宋大(da)中祥符四年,真宗帝賜金帛一新洞(dong)(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)觀(guan)(guan)棟宇。乾道六年,內侍(shi)劉能入道,請(qing)升為(wei)宮,孝宗帝賜額(e)(e)“天(tian)(tian)(tian)申(shen)(shen)萬(wan)壽宮”。元代,三(san)(san)十(shi)八(ba)代掌教天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)張與材至此(ci)(ci)尋祖朝真,留有詩句:“秋風(feng)吹衣草樹涼,巨靈(ling)(ling)守護神丹光。袖攜天(tian)(tian)(tian)香入洞(dong)(dong)(dong)府,散(san)作云(yun)霧空蒼茫。柱杖鏗鏘響微步,石(shi)髓(sui)垂(chui)垂(chui)潤甘露。時當相遇(yu)五(wu)百年,分明中有升天(tian)(tian)(tian)路。”元代泰定年間,住山李勛在天(tian)(tian)(tian)申(shen)(shen)宮前募建(jian)(jian)石(shi)柱6根,一如當年華表插天(tian)(tian)(tian)。元末(mo)(mo),天(tian)(tian)(tian)申(shen)(shen)宮廢(fei)。明洪武二年,道士(shi)陳清源復建(jian)(jian),后廢(fei)。宣(xuan)德(de)二年,道會(hui)談(tan)惟一構屋數楹(ying)供傳(chuan)道。清康熙(xi)三(san)(san)十(shi)三(san)(san)年(1694),道士(shi)潘朝陽募資在洞(dong)(dong)(dong)靈(ling)(ling)觀(guan)(guan)址重建(jian)(jian),改名(ming)朝陽道院。后朝陽道士(shi)在此(ci)(ci)得道,并著有三(san)(san)才(cai)圖(tu)。清末(mo)(mo)又遭兵毀(hui)。
洞靈觀重(zhong)建(jian)于1995年3月,與張(zhang)公洞相鄰(lin),建(jian)筑面積1500多平方(fang)米,占地近萬平方(fang)米。自山腳至(zhi)山頂(ding),重(zhong)門(men)次(ci)第,殿宇巍(wei)峨、紅墻(qiang)黛瓦(wa)、綠蔭掩映,建(jian)有(you)靈觀殿、玉皇殿、天師(shi)殿、三清殿等(deng)八座殿宇,殿內29尊神像熠熠生(sheng)輝。
唐代皇甫冉(ran)《洞靈觀(guan)》詩云(yun):“孤煙靈洞遠,積雪暮山(shan)寒(han)。松(song)柏凌高(gao)殿,莓苔封古壇。客來清(qing)夜久,仙去白云(yun)殘。明月開金箓(lu),焚香入木蘭。”
唐許渾《題洞靈觀冬青樹》詩云(yun):“霜霰不(bu)凋色,兩株交石壇。未秋紅實(shi)淺,經夏綠(lv)陰寒。露重(zhong)蟬鳴急,風多鳥宿難。何如西禁柳,晴(qing)舞玉闌干。”
宋(song)蔡肇《題洞靈觀》詩云(yun):“勝跡傳來不記年,昔聞曾駐漢神仙。赤烏(wu)方喜靈壇建(jian),白馬俄驚梵宇遷(qian)。觀額自唐因(yin)記定(ding),宮碑至(zhi)宋(song)有珉鐫。江(jiang)南福(fu)地(di)雖(sui)云(yun)眾(zhong),第一(yi)無過此(ci)洞天。”
民國23年,鄉紳(shen)儲南強重修張公洞時(shi)同修朝陽道院部分道室。抗戰時(shi)被(bei)日軍炸毀(hui)。
1994年7月(yue),市(shi)政府(fu)風景(jing)園(yuan)林管理部(bu)門負責籌資重(zhong)建(jian)(jian)洞(dong)靈觀。重(zhong)建(jian)(jian)后(hou)的洞(dong)靈觀依山旁洞(dong),占地2萬平方(fang)米,建(jian)(jian)筑面(mian)積(ji)2千平方(fang)米,上下(xia)8殿。同年12月(yue),經宜興市(shi)人民政府(fu)批準,洞(dong)靈觀正(zheng)式列為(wei)道教活動(dong)場(chang)所。
