南山古寺坐落在廣西貴港市城南4公里處南山公園獅山巖洞內,寺院香火繁旺,古鐘臥于巖洞,其周圍大大小小巖洞及金剛殿中,有自北宋起歷代名人墨客留下的石刻遺跡,形式有詩詞、題記、題額、序跋和修葺捐資題名碑等。古剎周圍眾峰林立,姿態各異,風景秀美,是貴港市城市休閑的最好去處之一。南山海拔70米,為郁江畔24峰之冠。山上奇巖峭壁,雜樹間生,景色雅致。相傳昔有不老松,今半山尚有“不老松”崖刻。山前山后有岸洞11個,洞中多有宋以來題刻,觀音巖內還有姿態各異的十八羅漢塑像。登臨山巔,可鳥瞰全城。

景點簡介

南(nan)山寺,位于貴(gui)港市城區南(nan)郊東(dong)南(nan)約3公(gong)里(li)郁江岸邊二十四(si)峰中的南(nan)山公(gong)園內(nei)獅山巖洞里(li),是千(qian)年古寺,嶺(ling)南(nan)名(ming)剎。

南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)寺(si)是貴港(gang)(gang)旅(lv)(lv)游勝(sheng)地,屬(shu)自治(zhi)區(qu)級重點文物(wu)(wu)保(bao)護單位。市人(ren)(ren)民政府十分(fen)重視對南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)名勝(sheng)古(gu)跡的保(bao)護和(he)修建(jian)(jian)工作,1977年起,南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)寺(si)擴建(jian)(jian)為南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)公園(yuan),總面積(ji)達1354.6畝(mu)(mu),其(qi)(qi)中石山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)占772.5畝(mu)(mu)。至今天(tian)止,南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)已建(jian)(jian)石級水(shui)(shui)泥(ni)登山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)路三條(tiao),兩條(tiao)分(fen)別建(jian)(jian)于寺(si)的東(dong)西(xi)側(ce),各(ge)寬1.3米(mi),總長(chang)451.7米(mi),均置鐵(tie)桿扶欄,老幼上落(luo)安全。另(ling)一(yi)條(tiao)建(jian)(jian)于驢山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),開辟了驢山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)游覽新區(qu)。此外(wai)(wai),還(huan)(huan)(huan)建(jian)(jian)了古(gu)香古(gu)色(se)圍墻(qiang)170多(duo)(duo)米(mi),古(gu)裝企樓(lou)式園(yuan)門一(yi)座,亭臺樓(lou)榭多(duo)(duo)座,混(hun)凝(ning)土水(shui)(shui)泥(ni)環塘路一(yi)條(tiao),寬3米(mi),長(chang)490多(duo)(duo)米(mi);又另(ling)鋪筑混(hun)凝(ning)土游園(yuan)路600多(duo)(duo)米(mi)。公園(yuan)內外(wai)(wai)遍植各(ge)種樹木花(hua)卉4萬(wan)多(duo)(duo)株(zhu),四季常青,花(hua)香滿(man)園(yuan)。連(lian)接中山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)路的南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)公園(yuan)主(zhu)干道已通車,交通方便(bian)。再有,在(zai)(zai)寺(si)西(xi)還(huan)(huan)(huan)建(jian)(jian)有兩層古(gu)青石樓(lou)文物(wu)(wu)陳列館,展(zhan)出羅(luo)泊灣一(yi)號大型漢墓(mu)出土文物(wu)(wu);在(zai)(zai)寺(si)東(dong)建(jian)(jian)有烈士陵園(yuan),豎有革命(ming)烈士紀念(nian)碑,碑前有譚壽(shou)林、董銓(quan)漢兩位革命(ming)烈士的塑(su)像(xiang),還(huan)(huan)(huan)有黃彰(zhang)烈士墓(mu)及其(qi)(qi)塑(su)像(xiang)。貴港(gang)(gang)市人(ren)(ren)民政府除了引資(zi)建(jian)(jian)動(dong)物(wu)(wu)園(yuan)外(wai)(wai),還(huan)(huan)(huan)引資(zi)4000萬(wan)元興建(jian)(jian)南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)賓(bin)館,把南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)公園(yuan)建(jian)(jian)成(cheng)了A級國家旅(lv)(lv)游景(jing)區(qu)。不久,南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)寺(si)將以嶄新面貌,迎接海內外(wai)(wai)游客的光臨。

南(nan)山海拔70米(mi),為(wei)郁江(jiang)畔24峰之冠(guan)。山上(shang)奇巖峭(qiao)壁,雜樹(shu)間生,景色雅致。相(xiang)傳昔有(you)(you)不老松,今(jin)半山尚(shang)有(you)(you)“不老松”崖(ya)刻。山前山后有(you)(you)岸洞(dong)11個,洞(dong)中多(duo)有(you)(you)宋(song)以來(lai)題(ti)刻,觀音巖內(nei)還(huan)有(you)(you)姿態各異的十八羅(luo)漢塑像。登臨山巔(dian),可鳥(niao)瞰全城。南(nan)山寺(si)于(yu)南(nan)山上(shang),始(shi)修(xiu)于(yu)宋(song)朝,宋(song)太宗賜(si)御(yu)書(shu),宋(song)仁宗題(ti)“景佑禪寺(si)”額匾。元(yuan)文宗即位(wei)(wei)前兩次(ci)住寺(si),題(ti)“南(nan)山寺(si)”,稱南(nan)宗正(zheng)脈,是西江(jiang)重要佛寺(si)。“山明水秀本從來(lai),云水光中計(ji)四峰”。寺(si)依山踞洞(dong)而(er)建,門外有(you)(you)菩提樹(shu),寺(si)內(nei)曲(qu)徑(jing)通幽,有(you)(you)宋(song)、元(yuan)、明、清石(shi)(shi)刻百(bai)余方和北宋(song)天圣(sheng)三年(1025年)大鐵鐘等歷史文物。洞(dong)內(nei)鐘乳石(shi)(shi)豐富多(duo)姿,有(you)(you)飛來(lai)佛、石(shi)(shi)獅(shi)、石(shi)(shi)象(xiang)、石(shi)(shi)鯉等,另(ling)有(you)(you)晉(jin)代葛洪煉丹遺址(zhi)和流米(mi)洞(dong)遺跡(ji)。南(nan)山寺(si)歷代為(wei)旅游(you)勝地(di),今(jin)寺(si)內(nei)石(shi)(shi)刻與宋(song)代鐵鐘為(wei)自治區重點文物保護單位(wei)(wei)。

歷史

南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)始建于(yu)(yu)宋(song)端拱二年(nian)(公(gong)元989年(nian))。善智和尚來(lai)(lai)到貴州(zhou)(今(jin)貴港),踏遍(bian)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)川(chuan),最后(hou)選在(zai)(zai)風景(jing)如畫的(de)(de)獅山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)巖洞(dong)里(li)建立寺(si)(si)(si)(si)廟,供奉如來(lai)(lai)、三(san)寶諸佛(fo),自此(ci)南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)香火興旺,名(ming)氣日(ri)盛。宋(song)至道三(san)年(nian)(公(gong)元997年(nian)),宋(song)真宗以宋(song)太宗墨跡賜天(tian)下名(ming)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)獲賜太宗御書224軸(zhou),并(bing)建御書閣安奉。當時,南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)已成為天(tian)下名(ming)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),揚名(ming)中原大(da)地。宋(song)仁宗于(yu)(yu)景(jing)祐(you)元年(nian)(公(gong)元1034年(nian)),大(da)力整頓寺(si)(si)(si)(si)宇,下令“毀天(tian)下無額賜寺(si)(si)(si)(si)院”,由于(yu)(yu)南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)是州(zhou)治所在(zai)(zai)的(de)(de)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)廟,素負盛名(ming),宋(song)仁宗乃親書“景(jing)祐(you)禪寺(si)(si)(si)(si)”匾額賜給南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)。因(yin)此(ci)南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)又名(ming)景(jing)祐(you)禪寺(si)(si)(si)(si)。自此(ci),南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)聲名(ming)遠播,成為嶺南(nan)(nan)名(ming)剎,終日(ri)香客盈門,達(da)官貴人(ren)、騷人(ren)墨客慕(mu)名(ming)來(lai)(lai)游(you)者,絡繹不(bu)絕。這是南(nan)(nan)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)歷史上最輝煌(huang)的(de)(de)年(nian)代。

主要景點

文筆山

文筆山(shan)(shan)巍峨(e)高(gao)大,厚重端莊(zhuang),西看如支(zhi)筆,東望(wang)似猴子,北(bei)眺像觀音(yin)。山(shan)(shan)前(qian)有一池塘(tang)(tang),據說,以(yi)前(qian)常(chang)有驊騮(liu)(猴子)、鳳(feng)凰在塘(tang)(tang)邊(bian)或塘(tang)(tang)中戲耍(shua),故名驊騮(liu)塘(tang)(tang),又名鳳(feng)凰塘(tang)(tang)。相傳(chuan),文筆山(shan)(shan)是(shi)貴(gui)港一支(zhi)神筆,它以(yi)驊騮(liu)塘(tang)(tang)為墨(mo)池,大地為紙,舔之不完,寫之不盡,是(shi)貴(gui)港人才輩(bei)出的風(feng)水寶地。

八角亭

從文筆山(shan)行(xing)約400米,就到(dao)(dao)坐(zuo)落獅(shi)山(shan)的南山(shan)寺(si)步入(ru)寺(si)門,再沿石級而上到(dao)(dao)八角亭(ting)(ting)。此亭(ting)(ting)始建于(yu)清(qing)(qing)初,乾隆后期重修至今已有200多年(nian)歷史,是(shi)南山(shan)寺(si)現(xian)存(cun)最古老的建筑物(wu)。亭(ting)(ting)內供奉大肚佛,兩側是(shi)四大金剛,亭(ting)(ting)的三面墻壁(bi)鑲(xiang)滿一(yi)塊(kuai)塊(kuai)石碑(bei)。亭(ting)(ting)東第一(yi)塊(kuai)是(shi)建八角亭(ting)(ting)的碑(bei)文,文曰:清(qing)(qing)朝初期,南山(shan)寺(si)“景物(wu)蕭疏十之四五”,據貴縣(xian)(xian)志記(ji)載,那(nei)時,由于(yu)農民起義紛呈,清(qing)(qing)立國(guo)十三年(nian)后才有縣(xian)(xian)官(guan)來坐(zuo)衙執政(zheng)。碑(bei)文里說的知縣(xian)(xian)澹(dan)(淡)公,就是(shi)清(qing)(qing)順治十四年(nian)(公元1657年(nian))到(dao)(dao)任的。

南山大洞

從(cong)八(ba)角亭(ting)沿著之字形石(shi)級直上,就(jiu)到(dao)南山大(da)洞(dong)。洞(dong)門刻(ke)有:“洞(dong)門云鎖(suo)三冬暖,石(shi)室風生九(jiu)夏(xia)涼(liang)”的(de)對聯。洞(dong)門石(shi)壁(bi)上有一(yi)棵不(bu)老(lao)松(song),是(shi)貴縣舊八(ba)景之一(yi)。這棵小松(song)樹自公(gong)元(yuan)989年(nian)建寺時已有,一(yi)千多(duo)年(nian)來,不(bu)長高也不(bu)長大(da),總是(shi)老(lao)樣子(zi),四季常青,令人稱奇。據說“福如(ru)東海長流(liu)水(shui),壽比南山不(bu)老(lao)松(song)”典(dian)故就(jiu)源于此。

進(jin)入洞中(zhong),只(zhi)見該(gai)洞上窟窿,下寬敞(chang),東西長50米,南(nan)(nan)北寬30米,高15米多(duo)。因洞中(zhong)有“石(shi)像天(tian)成,非鑿非刻”的(de)天(tian)然石(shi)佛(fo)三尊(zun)(zun)及歷元到明,后人增刻已達三十余(yu)尊(zun)(zun),小石(shi)佛(fo)遍布崖(ya)上,故(gu)名(ming)石(shi)佛(fo)洞。該(gai)洞又是(shi)(shi)南(nan)(nan)山寺供奉如(ru)來(lai)(lai)佛(fo)祖及寺僧(seng)做佛(fo)事的(de)地方(fang),這尊(zun)(zun)如(ru)來(lai)(lai)佛(fo)像是(shi)(shi)新塑造的(de),高八米,故(gu)該(gai)洞又稱大殿。大洞是(shi)(shi)個(ge)文(wen)(wen)物豐富(fu)的(de)大寶庫,不但有石(shi)佛(fo)、石(shi)象、石(shi)牛、石(shi)獅、石(shi)虎(hu)、石(shi)鯉,還(huan)有御書碑(bei)和飛來(lai)(lai)鐘等(deng)勝(sheng)跡,以及歷代(dai)騷人墨客的(de)詩詞、題額摩崖(ya),琳瑯滿目,令人嘆(tan)為觀止(zhi)。據統計,南(nan)(nan)山寺的(de)摩崖(ya)碑(bei)刻有180多(duo)幅(fu)(塊),其中(zhong)自治區(qu)博物館有拓片的(de)50幅(fu),是(shi)(shi)自治區(qu)文(wen)(wen)物保護(hu)單位(wei)。

御書碑

寺內有一塊極為珍貴的御書碑。元至治元年(公元1321年)圖貼睦爾親王被流放海南島,中途來游南山。公元1323年奉召返京,重游南山,并親書“南山寺”三字賜與寺僧。公元1328年圖貼睦爾登位,號文宗皇(huang)帝。后(hou)貴(gui)州(zhou)(貴(gui)縣)州(zhou)官撰跋刻《御書碑》立于(yu)石佛洞北壁下保存。

飛來鐘

洞的(de)左側有一(yi)口大(da)(da)鐵(tie)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),叫飛來(lai)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),高1.8米,口徑(jing)1.2米,重一(yi)噸多,用(yong)槌擊之(zhi),發(fa)出巨響,山鳴谷應,聲(sheng)播十(shi)里。鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)面(mian)鑄有“皇(huang)宋(song)天圣三年(nian)(公元1025年(nian))乙(yi)丑歲(sui)正月”,“撫州(zhou)匠人曾(ceng)守政(zheng)鑄造”等字樣。此鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)歷時近千年(nian),為貴港市尚(shang)存16個(ge)(ge)鐵(tie)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)之(zhi)最,是(shi)(shi)全(quan)國十(shi)大(da)(da)名(ming)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)之(zhi)一(yi),被列為廣西重點保護文物(wu)。這個(ge)(ge)古老(lao)鐵(tie)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)原(yuan)是(shi)(shi)廣州(zhou)光(guang)孝(xiao)寺的(de)神(shen)物(wu),它(ta)之(zhi)所(suo)以(yi)神(shen),據(ju)傳說,因(yin)它(ta)慕南山風(feng)景優美,香火興旺,在一(yi)夜之(zhi)間(jian)從廣州(zhou)飛來(lai),自掛于大(da)(da)洞一(yi)根橫木(mu)之(zhi)上(shang),長鳴七天七夜而止。神(shen)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)還能卜吉兇(xiong),知禍(huo)福(fu),來(lai)人拜之(zhi)、求之(zhi),都(dou)逢(feng)兇(xiong)化吉,是(shi)(shi)南山寺又一(yi)奇寶。

觀音巖

大洞西(xi)側(ce)是觀音巖,與大洞相連,呈長方形(xing),長約(yue)15米,寬5米多,從大洞拾級而上可到(dao)達。此巖是歷(li)代石刻較(jiao)多的(de)地(di)方,其中有講(jiang)農(nong)業生產的(de),如清雍(yong)正年間曾兩度(du)任貴縣(xian)知縣(xian)的(de)天津人孫(sun)超(chao)群寫的(de)“南山記”石刻碑文(wen)。文(wen)中提到(dao)當(dang)時(shi)貴縣(xian)還(huan)不懂種旱田,農(nong)民都是“以手拔草,困難開辟,亦難多種”。于是他推廣了北方旱地(di)農(nong)具鐵鋤,對農(nong)民“躬行(xing)教(jiao)種”,“數日間旱田之(zhi)(zhi)利益通曉”。他還(huan)滿有信(xin)心(xin)地(di)說“將來(lai)之(zhi)(zhi)辟土必多,民生厚望矣(yi)”。

觀(guan)(guan)(guan)音巖(yan)寬敞明亮,舊社會官紳游山(shan)(shan)到此(ci),必擺酒吟詩,清(qing)風(feng)南來,令人飄飄欲(yu)仙(xian)。因此(ci),清(qing)康熙貢(gong)生(sheng)、山(shan)(shan)水(shui)郎曾光(guang)國題刻“登(deng)臨(lin)即仙(xian)”。巖(yan)內(nei)有“鯉(li)(li)魚(yu)滴水(shui)”、“通(tong)天洞”勝景。關(guan)于鯉(li)(li)魚(yu)滴水(shui)有個神(shen)話傳說,很久以前,郁江(jiang)鯉(li)(li)魚(yu)灣(wan)有條鯉(li)(li)魚(yu)精(jing),到南山(shan)(shan)寺(si)稱(cheng)王作惡(e),民憤很大,被觀(guan)(guan)(guan)音菩薩施法使其現出原(yuan)形,并把它拋(pao)到觀(guan)(guan)(guan)音洞頂的(de)(de)(de)石壁(bi)上(shang)(shang)倒掛起來,鯉(li)(li)魚(yu)哭泣的(de)(de)(de)淚水(shui)流到嘴邊滴下來,成了(le)今天的(de)(de)(de)“鯉(li)(li)魚(yu)滴水(shui)”奇觀(guan)(guan)(guan),真(zhen)是“一竅有靈通(tong)地脈(mo),半(ban)(ban)空無(wu)雨滴天槳(jiang)”。觀(guan)(guan)(guan)音巖(yan)西壁(bi)上(shang)(shang)有一洞口(kou),洞道僅供一人沿崖攀(pan)登(deng)而上(shang)(shang),半(ban)(ban)山(shan)(shan)上(shang)(shang)有小巖(yan)洞,過(guo)去建有魁(kui)星閣,曾是僧(seng)人住宿之(zhi)地。這(zhe)個洞叫“通(tong)天洞”,登(deng)臨(lin)者眼前即展現奇觀(guan)(guan)(guan)。“登(deng)臨(lin)即仙(xian)”,誰不雅興倍增?我游至(zhi)此(ci)處(chu),曾觸(chu)景生(sheng)情,口(kou)占一絕:“古寺(si)風(feng)光(guang)處(chu)處(chu)優,鯉(li)(li)魚(yu)滴水(shui)送清(qing)流。沿崖直上(shang)(shang)通(tong)天洞,掩映林光(guang)畫閣樓(lou)”。

在大(da)洞(dong)東側,有(you)(you)兩個(ge)小(xiao)巖(yan)洞(dong),一(yi)稱流(liu)(liu)云洞(dong),清晨經常有(you)(you)云霧從(cong)(cong)山(shan)外漫(man)進。一(yi)稱流(liu)(liu)米(mi)(mi)洞(dong),在洞(dong)頂石(shi)壁上(shang)(shang)有(you)(you)一(yi)似(si)漏(lou)斗狀的(de)小(xiao)洞(dong),以(yi)前(qian)有(you)(you)米(mi)(mi)從(cong)(cong)洞(dong)中流(liu)(liu)出,寺中幾(ji)人,米(mi)(mi)流(liu)(liu)幾(ji)許,不多(duo)也不少。這些(xie)米(mi)(mi)從(cong)(cong)那里(li)來呢?相傳是(shi)金(jin)龜和仙(xian)(xian)鶴去(qu)游(you)(you)伏波(bo)灘,見米(mi)(mi)船(chuan)觸(chu)礁沉沒(mei),將遺下的(de)米(mi)(mi)運(yun)回南山(shan)寺的(de)。但后(hou)來有(you)(you)個(ge)貪(tan)心和尚,把(ba)(ba)流(liu)(liu)米(mi)(mi)洞(dong)鑿寬,企圖讓米(mi)(mi)多(duo)出,把(ba)(ba)金(jin)龜和仙(xian)(xian)鶴辛(xin)辛(xin)苦(ku)(ku)苦(ku)(ku)運(yun)回的(de)大(da)米(mi)(mi)掏空了。金(jin)龜和仙(xian)(xian)鶴知道(dao)后(hou),嘆(tan)息道(dao):“真是(shi)人心不足(zu)蛇吞(tun)象”,一(yi)怒(nu)之(zhi)下,從(cong)(cong)此(ci)不再去(qu)運(yun)米(mi)(mi)了。自此(ci)之(zhi)后(hou),流(liu)(liu)米(mi)(mi)洞(dong)也不再流(liu)(liu)米(mi)(mi)了。金(jin)龜和仙(xian)(xian)鶴終日坐禪,后(hou)來也仙(xian)(xian)化了。據說(shuo),南山(shan)二十四峰中的(de)龜山(shan)、鶴山(shan),就是(shi)當年金(jin)龜、仙(xian)(xian)鶴的(de)化身。此(ci)外,在流(liu)(liu)米(mi)(mi)洞(dong)北側的(de)石(shi)壁上(shang)(shang)還(huan)有(you)(you)個(ge)直通山(shan)頂的(de)洞(dong),險陡難上(shang)(shang)。洞(dong)中有(you)(you)條(tiao)躍龍(long)(long)門的(de)鯉(li)魚(yu)(yu),故稱石(shi)鯉(li)洞(dong)。公(gong)元(yuan)1872年有(you)(you)個(ge)學士(shi)游(you)(you)南山(shan)曾吟(yin)詩(shi)一(yi)首,用(yong)浪漫(man)主義的(de)手法寫道(dao):“胡不貫之(zhi)柳(liu),烹玉法一(yi)試?”意思是(shi)說(shuo):“為什么不用(yong)柳(liu)條(tiao)把(ba)(ba)那條(tiao)鯉(li)魚(yu)(yu)串回來蒸它吃呢?”鯉(li)魚(yu)(yu)跳(tiao)龍(long)(long)門,龍(long)(long)門就在這里(li),你看,鯉(li)魚(yu)(yu)已(yi)跳(tiao)到洞(dong)口來了。

御書閣

在(zai)大洞(dong)(dong)東門(men)附近,過去(qu)建有(you)(you)(you)東樓“御書閣”,是安奉宋太宗賜御書224軸的(de)(de)地方(fang),現(xian)已被(bei)毀(hui)無存。我們從大洞(dong)(dong)東門(men)出來,沿著羊腸小(xiao)道(dao)拾級攀登(deng)北(bei)(bei)上(shang),只(zhi)見(jian)半(ban)(ban)山(shan)峭壁上(shang)刻有(you)(you)(you)“問(wen)心(xin)”兩字(zi),用(yong)意似(si)乎是要每個登(deng)山(shan)者(zhe)回答:“繼(ji)續(xu)前進還(huan)是半(ban)(ban)途而止?”面對那“鳥(niao)道(dao)磐羊腸,怪石(shi)削雞(ji)距,天梯斷(duan)后(hou)(hou)(hou)連,下(xia)瞰毛骨豎”的(de)(de)險峻(jun)歷程,只(zhi)有(you)(you)(you)下(xia)定決(jue)心(xin),“飛步(bu)白云(yun)(yun)巔(dian)”,才能觀賞到那“石(shi)龕益(yi)奇麗(li)”的(de)(de)景色。后(hou)(hou)(hou)人(ren)(ren)在(zai)“問(wen)心(xin)”旁建有(you)(you)(you)個半(ban)(ban)山(shan)亭,讓(rang)游人(ren)(ren)小(xiao)憩后(hou)(hou)(hou)繼(ji)續(xu)攀登(deng)。有(you)(you)(you)詩(shi)云(yun)(yun):“一(yi)生能有(you)(you)(you)幾回游,勿在(zai)半(ban)(ban)山(shan)亭里休,南(nan)(nan)峰(feng)頂(ding)上(shang)風光好(hao)(hao),古郡勝景目(mu)中收(shou)。”到了(le)(le)北(bei)(bei)極(ji)洞(dong)(dong),十分涼爽,有(you)(you)(you)“南(nan)(nan)北(bei)(bei)戶通”、“千(qian)(qian)里俯窺”的(de)(de)奇景。清乾隆(long)初年(nian),潯州知(zhi)府(fu)李(li)綺(江(jiang)蘇人(ren)(ren))有(you)(you)(you)詩(shi)云(yun)(yun):“未(wei)盡登(deng)臨興,還(huan)來絕頂(ding)游。俯身(shen)皆下(xia)界(jie),極(ji)目(mu)見(jian)神州”。妙(miao)哉(zai)!尤為(wei)后(hou)(hou)(hou)兩句寫景抒情,情融于景,讀后(hou)(hou)(hou)令人(ren)(ren)振奮。北(bei)(bei)極(ji)洞(dong)(dong)又名(ming)(ming)葛(ge)(ge)仙(xian)巖(yan),是公元(yuan)四世紀晉代(dai)藥物家葛(ge)(ge)洪從廣東羅浮山(shan)來此(ci)山(shan)采藥煉(lian)(lian)丹(dan)時居住的(de)(de)地方(fang)。在(zai)這(zhe)個巖(yan)的(de)(de)山(shan)腳下(xia)有(you)(you)(you)個泉(quan)眼,常年(nian)有(you)(you)(you)泉(quan)水(shui)(shui)涌動而出,水(shui)(shui)清味甜可(ke)口,水(shui)(shui)中含有(you)(you)(you)丹(dan)砂,飲(yin)之可(ke)延年(nian)益(yi)壽。據(ju)傳說,當(dang)年(nian)葛(ge)(ge)洪就在(zai)泉(quan)眼邊(bian)筑圍成(cheng)井(jing),取此(ci)井(jing)水(shui)(shui)到北(bei)(bei)極(ji)洞(dong)(dong)筑灶(zao)煉(lian)(lian)丹(dan)。他歷盡了(le)(le)千(qian)(qian)辛(xin)萬(wan)苦,終于煉(lian)(lian)出了(le)(le)仙(xian)丹(dan),修成(cheng)了(le)(le)正果,成(cheng)仙(xian)升天去(qu)了(le)(le)。后(hou)(hou)(hou)人(ren)(ren)為(wei)紀念他的(de)(de)功德,尊稱(cheng)他為(wei)葛(ge)(ge)仙(xian),北(bei)(bei)極(ji)洞(dong)(dong)又得(de)名(ming)(ming)葛(ge)(ge)仙(xian)洞(dong)(dong)。那口井(jing)稱(cheng)為(wei)仙(xian)人(ren)(ren)井(jing),葛(ge)(ge)洪煉(lian)(lian)丹(dan)的(de)(de)灶(zao)稱(cheng)為(wei)葛(ge)(ge)仙(xian)灶(zao),今遺跡尚(shang)存。清代(dai)舉人(ren)(ren)石(shi)崇(chong)先(xian)有(you)(you)(you)《丹(dan)灶(zao)吟(yin)》云(yun)(yun):“水(shui)(shui)云(yun)(yun)深入好(hao)(hao)棲遲,行(xing)滿(man)功成(cheng)在(zai)此(ci)時。九轉(zhuan)靈(ling)丹(dan)真火候,三翻消息登(deng)離奇。一(yi)天驀靜三更現(xian),萬(wan)法全空五夜知(zhi)。得(de)道(dao)仙(xian)翁駕鶴去(qu),長(chang)留丹(dan)灶(zao)使人(ren)(ren)思。”看來,一(yi)切均有(you)(you)(you)證(zheng)可(ke)考(kao)。

從北極洞出來,登上(shang)獅山頂峰,倚著嵯峨(e)的山石,遠(yuan)眺稻(dao)浪翻滾,蔗海蔥蘢(long),青山聳翠,郁水(shui)蕩波,鬧市人涌,大道(dao)車流,真是氣象萬千。近看(kan)廿(nian)四峰羅列如畫屏,翠黛(dai)環立(li)。宋代貴州(今(jin)貴港(gang))郡守(shou)陳昭(zhao)嗣作詩曰:“二(er)十四峰稱小桂,山明水(shui)秀本(ben)從來。”1991年(nian)我們陪(pei)南(nan)(nan)寧市葵(kui)花詩社十老游南(nan)(nan)山時也吟道(dao):“陪(pei)客(ke)南(nan)(nan)山再次游,攀登步上(shang)頂峰樓(lou)。披(pi)襟(jin)極目情無(wu)限,廿(nian)四奇(qi)峰眼底(di)收。”可謂異曲同(tong)工。

舍利塔

從(cong)獅(shi)山頂峰沿石(shi)(shi)級而下(xia),來到山背腳下(xia)的舍(she)利塔(ta)(ta)。此塔(ta)(ta)共(gong)4層,高6米(mi),寬2.5米(mi),塔(ta)(ta)上端(duan)書“舍(she)利寶(bao)塔(ta)(ta)”四字,下(xia)端(duan)有佛(fo)(fo)像浮雕一(yi)(yi)尊。塔(ta)(ta)旁有一(yi)(yi)石(shi)(shi)碑曰(yue)“南(nan)(nan)山舍(she)利塔(ta)(ta)記”,碑高96厘米(mi),寬76厘米(mi)。碑文(wen)有“佛(fo)(fo)光頻(pin)耀,震(zhen)動人天,信(xin)女(nv)陳覺定喜舍(she)桂鈔一(yi)(yi)千(qian)五(wu)百一(yi)(yi)十五(wu)元敬造(zao)石(shi)(shi)塔(ta)(ta)”等(deng)字樣(yang)。這個塔(ta)(ta)是民國年(nian)間(jian)(jian),本邑南(nan)(nan)江村盛(sheng)光庭(ting)得(de)(de)知南(nan)(nan)山寺末代(dai)住持李(li)春崖收有普仁大(da)師園寂時的一(yi)(yi)顆佛(fo)(fo)珠(zhu)藏于廣東肇(zhao)慶(qing)(qing)慶(qing)(qing)云寺,便(bian)親到那里索珠(zhu)回來,即(ji)與當地紳(shen)耆龔雨庭(ting)、葉瑞庭(ting)、周景賢、林進(jin)才等(deng)人商議建舍(she)利塔(ta)(ta)。隨后便(bian)以(yi)貴縣佛(fo)(fo)教協會名義發出緣部,向(xiang)各方善男信(xin)女(nv),廣結善緣,隨緣樂捐,并(bing)得(de)(de)到香港信(xin)女(nv)陳覺定大(da)力支持,遂于1936年(nian)間(jian)(jian)全(quan)塔(ta)(ta)建成,將普仁大(da)師的佛(fo)(fo)珠(zhu)藏于塔(ta)(ta)內(nei)。

舍利(li)塔前面是(shi)一(yi)(yi)片廣闊的(de)悠(you)閑(xian)林蔭地,內(nei)中有水(shui)塘。市(shi)政府已撥(bo)款興建動(dong)物(wu)園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan),并于2003年8月13日建成對外開(kai)放(fang)。動(dong)物(wu)園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)占地60畝,分為(wei)(wei)猛獸觀賞區(qu)、靈長(chang)類觀賞區(qu)、綜(zong)合表(biao)演館(guan)、兒童逗趣(qu)園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)等區(qu)域。展出東北虎(hu)、獅子、狒狒、犀鳥(niao)等極具觀賞價值的(de)動(dong)物(wu)30多種200多頭(只(zhi)),及包括黑熊、鳥(niao)類、猴子及寵物(wu)狗在(zai)內(nei)的(de)綜(zong)合性表(biao)演。據了解(jie),該園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)是(shi)廣西僅次于南寧市(shi)動(dong)物(wu)園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)的(de)第(di)二大公有動(dong)物(wu)園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)。南山(shan)寺(si)動(dong)物(wu)園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)的(de)建成開(kai)放(fang),為(wei)(wei)南山(shan)景(jing)區(qu)增添了一(yi)(yi)個炫目(mu)的(de)亮點。

菩提樹

從(cong)舍利塔沿(yan)石級南下,回到南山(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)門西(xi)側,甘(gan)液池邊(bian),有(you)(you)(you)棵遠近聞名(ming)的菩提樹,樹高16米,主干直徑(jing)1.1米,葉大如(ru)掌,遮覆(fu)直徑(jing)達8米,四季(ji)常(chang)青(qing),樹本名(ming)貝多(duo)羅,是(shi)佛教(jiao)圣樹,相傳以前西(xi)天眾僧(seng)在(zai)此(ci)樹下宣講(jiang)佛經,證(zheng)菩提果,因而又稱(cheng)菩提樹,因其(qi)稀有(you)(you)(you)長壽(shou),而成為南山(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)之瑰寶。此(ci)樹原產印度,中(zhong)國稀有(you)(you)(you),南山(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)和廣(guang)東羊城光孝寺(si)(si)(si)各有(you)(you)(you)一(yi)棵,合起來齊(qi)名(ming)。貴港(gang)人(ren)(ren)曾(ceng)紹箕于(yu)(yu)1686年作《南山(shan)(shan)即景》詩(shi)時曾(ceng)提到菩提樹云:“行看池邊(bian)菩提樹,靈鳥枝(zhi)頭學梵音”,據(ju)此(ci)推斷,南山(shan)(shan)寺(si)(si)(si)菩提樹已有(you)(you)(you)三百多(duo)年歷(li)史了。但迄今還是(shi)青(qing)翠挺拔(ba),枝(zhi)繁葉茂,未顯(xian)龍(long)鐘老態。更奇(qi)的是(shi),將菩提葉浸于(yu)(yu)水中(zhong),存其(qi)盤脈,儼如(ru)薄紗,寺(si)(si)(si)中(zhong)僧(seng)人(ren)(ren)曾(ceng)用以寫經,可(ke)存千年,今人(ren)(ren)用作書簽(qian),可(ke)防蛀蟲。

南(nan)山寺(si)距(ju)城區中心約(yue)四公里。從市(shi)新世紀廣場乘8路公共汽車,跨過郁江大(da)橋,就到南(nan)山寺(si)附近的(de)文筆山。
