《廣異記》是(shi)一(yi)部唐代前期(qi)的(de)中國志怪(guai)傳(chuan)奇(qi)(qi)小說集,原書二十(shi)卷(juan)(juan),今(jin)存六(liu)(liu)卷(juan)(juan)。本文專就其中所載人鬼情緣故事與六(liu)(liu)朝(chao)同類(lei)故事比較,論證(zheng)廣異記雖上(shang)承六(liu)(liu)朝(chao)志怪(guai)模式(shi),而(er)敘述轉趨曲(qu)折,人物形象細致(zhi),各方(fang)面技法都有進步(bu),尤其在利用(yong)宗(zong)教元素上(shang)已脫(tuo)離輔教動(dong)機(ji),提(ti)升了小說創作意識(shi)的(de)水平,展示唐人情致(zhi),開發小說的(de)新時(shi)代趣(qu)味,即(ji)謂以志怪(guai)之(zhi)體而(er)用(yong)傳(chuan)奇(qi)(qi)之(zhi)法,是(shi)一(yi)部初(chu)唐小說由志怪(guai)演進為傳(chuan)奇(qi)(qi)的(de)代表作品。
趙郡李湜,以(yi)開(kai)元(yuan)中謁華岳廟。過三夫(fu)(fu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)院,忽見(jian)神(shen)女悉是生人(ren)(ren)(ren),邀入寶(bao)帳中,備極歡(huan)洽。三夫(fu)(fu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)迭與(yu)結歡(huan),言(yan)終(zhong)(zhong)而(er)出。臨訣,謂(wei)湜曰:“每年七月(yue)七日(ri)(ri)(ri)至十二日(ri)(ri)(ri),岳神(shen)當上(shang)計(ji)于天(tian),至時相迎,無宜辭讓。今者相見(jian),亦(yi)是其(qi)時,故得盡歡(huan)爾。”自爾七年,每悟其(qi)日(ri)(ri)(ri),奄(yan)然(ran)氣盡,家人(ren)(ren)(ren)守之(zhi),三日(ri)(ri)(ri)方悟。說云:“靈帳瑇筵,綺席羅薦(jian)。搖月(yue)扇以(yi)輕暑,曳羅衣以(yi)縱香。玉佩清(qing)冷,香風斐亹。候湜之(zhi)至,莫不笑開(kai)星靨(ye),花媚玉顏。敘離異則(ze)涕零,論新(xin)歡(huan)則(ze)情(qing)(qing)洽。三夫(fu)(fu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)皆(jie)其(qi)有(you)也。湜才偉于器,尤為(wei)(wei)所重(zhong),各盡其(qi)歡(huan)情(qing)(qing)。及還家,莫不惆(chou)悵嗚咽,延景惜別。”湜既(ji)悟,形貌流浹,輒(zhe)病十來(lai)日(ri)(ri)(ri)而(er)后(hou)(hou)可。有(you)術(shu)者見(jian)湜云:“君有(you)邪氣。”為(wei)(wei)書一符(fu),后(hou)(hou)雖相見(jian),不得相近(jin)。二夫(fu)(fu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)一姓(xing)王,一姓(xing)杜,罵云:“酷(ku)無行,何以(yi)帶(dai)符(fu)為(wei)(wei)?”小夫(fu)(fu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)姓(xing)蕭,恩義特深,涕泣相顧,誡(jie)湜:“三年勿(wu)言(yan),言(yan)之(zhi)非獨損君,亦(yi)當損我。”湜問(wen)以(yi)官,云:“合進(jin)士及第,終(zhong)(zhong)小縣令。”皆(jie)如(ru)其(qi)言(yan)。
開(kai)元初,玄(xuan)宗以皇后(hou)無子,乃令葉凈能道士奏(zou)章上玉京天帝(di),問(wen)皇后(hou)有子否。久之,章下。批云:“無子。”跡甚分明。
開元中,張嘉(jia)佑(you)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)相州刺史(shi)。使(shi)宅舊兇,嘉(jia)佑(you)初至(zhi),便(bian)有(you)(you)鬼(gui)祟回(hui)佑(you)家。備(bei)極(ji)擾亂,佑(you)不之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)懼(ju)。其西院小(xiao)廳(ting)鋪設及他食(shi)物(wu),又被翻倒。嘉(jia)佑(you)往(wang)觀(guan)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),見(jian)一女(nv)子,嘉(jia)佑(you)問(wen):“女(nv)郎何神(shen)(shen)?”女(nv)云:“己是周故大將軍相州刺史(shi)尉遲府君女(nv),家有(you)(you)至(zhi)屈,欲(yu)(yu)見(jian)使(shi)君陳論。”嘉(jia)佑(you)曰(yue):“敬(jing)(jing)當以(yi)(yi)領。”有(you)(you)頃(qing)而至(zhi)。容(rong)服魁岸(an),視瞻(zhan)高遠,選致敬(jing)(jing)于嘉(jia)佑(you),佑(you)延坐。問(wen)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)曰(yue):“生(sheng)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)賢(xian)人(ren)(ren),死為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)明神(shen)(shen)。胡(hu)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)宵宰幽(you)瞑,恐動兒(er)女(nv),遂令(ling)此(ci)州前后(hou)號為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)兇闕。何為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)正直(zhi)而至(zhi)是耶(ye)?”云:“往(wang)者周室作殫,楊堅(jian)篡奪。我忝(tian)周之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)臣(chen)子,寧忍(ren)社稷崩殞!所(suo)以(yi)(yi)欲(yu)(yu)全(quan)臣(chen)節,首倡大義,冀乎匡復宇宙,以(yi)(yi)存太(tai)祖(zu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)業。韋孝寬周室舊臣(chen),不能(neng)聞義而舉,反(fan)受楊堅(jian)銜勒,為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)其所(suo)用。以(yi)(yi)一州之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)眾(zhong),當天(tian)下(xia)累益之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)師(shi)。精誠雖(sui)欲(yu)(yu)貫天(tian),四海竟無救助。尋(xun)而失守(shou),一門遇(yu)害。合(he)家六十余口骸(hai)骨。在此(ci)廳(ting)下(xia),日(ri)月(yue)既多,幽(you)怨(yuan)愈(yu)甚。欲(yu)(yu)化別不可,欲(yu)(yu)白(bai)于人(ren)(ren),悉皆懼(ju)死,無所(suo)控(kong)告至(zhi)此(ci)。明公幸垂顧(gu)盻(xi),若(ruo)沉(chen)骸(hai)儻得不棄,幽(you)魅有(you)(you)所(suo)招立,則雖(sui)死之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)日(ri),猶生(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)年(nian)。”嘉(jia)佑(you)許(xu)諾。他日(ri),出(chu)其積骸(hai),以(yi)(yi)禮(li)葬于廳(ting)后(hou)。便(bian)以(yi)(yi)廳(ting)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)廟(miao),歲時(shi)禱祠焉。佑(you)有(you)(you)女(nv),年(nian)八九歲,家人(ren)(ren)欲(yu)(yu)有(you)(you)所(suo)問(wen),則令(ling)啟白(bai),神(shen)(shen)必有(you)(you)應。神(shen)(shen)欲(yu)(yu)白(bai)嘉(jia)佑(you),亦令(ling)小(xiao)女(nv)出(chu)見(jian),以(yi)(yi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)常也。其后(hou)嘉(jia)佑(you)家人(ren)(ren)有(you)(you)所(suo)適,神(shen)(shen)必使(shi)陰兵(bing)送出(chu)境(jing)。兵(bing)還,具白(bai)送至(zhi)某(mou)處,其西不過河陽橋。
汝陰(yin)男子(zi)(zi)姓許(xu)(xu),少(shao)(shao)(shao)孤。為(wei)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)白(bai)皙,有姿調(diao)。好(hao)鮮(xian)(xian)衣良(liang)(liang)(liang)馬(ma)(ma),游騁無(wu)(wu)度(du)。常牽黃犬,逐獸荒澗中(zhong),倦息大(da)樹(shu)(shu)下。樹(shu)(shu)高百余(yu)尺,大(da)數(shu)(shu)十(shi)(shi)圍,高柯旁挺,垂陰(yin)連數(shu)(shu)畝。仰(yang)視枝(zhi)間,懸一五色(se)彩囊,以(yi)(yi)為(wei)誤有遺(yi)者(zhe)(zhe),乃(nai)(nai)取歸。而結不(bu)可(ke)解,甚(shen)(shen)(shen)愛(ai)異(yi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),置巾箱中(zhong)。向暮,化(hua)成一女(nv)(nv)(nv)(nv)子(zi)(zi),手把名紙(zhi)直前,云(yun)(yun):“王女(nv)(nv)(nv)(nv)郎令相聞(wen)。”致名訖(qi),遂去(qu)(qu)(qu)。有頃,異(yi)香滿室,漸聞(wen)車馬(ma)(ma)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)聲(sheng)。許(xu)(xu)出戶,望見(jian)(jian)列燭(zhu)(zhu)成行,有一少(shao)(shao)(shao)年(nian)(nian),乘(cheng)白(bai)馬(ma)(ma),從十(shi)(shi)余(yu)騎在前,直來詣許(xu)(xu)曰(yue)(yue):“小妹粗(cu)家,竊(qie)慕(mu)盛(sheng)德,欲(yu)托(tuo)良(liang)(liang)(liang)緣于(yu)君(jun)子(zi)(zi),如(ru)何(he)(he)?”許(xu)(xu)以(yi)(yi)其(qi)神(shen),不(bu)敢苦辭。少(shao)(shao)(shao)年(nian)(nian)即命(ming)左(zuo)右,灑掃(sao)別(bie)(bie)室。須(xu)臾,女(nv)(nv)(nv)(nv)車至,光香滿路。侍女(nv)(nv)(nv)(nv)乘(cheng)馬(ma)(ma)數(shu)(shu)十(shi)(shi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),皆(jie)(jie)有美(mei)色(se),持步障,擁女(nv)(nv)(nv)(nv)郎下車。延(yan)入(ru)(ru)別(bie)(bie)室,幃帳(zhang)茵席(xi)畢具,家人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)大(da)驚,視之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)皆(jie)(jie)見(jian)(jian)。少(shao)(shao)(shao)年(nian)(nian)促許(xu)(xu)沐(mu)浴,進(jin)新衣,侍女(nv)(nv)(nv)(nv)扶入(ru)(ru)女(nv)(nv)(nv)(nv)室。女(nv)(nv)(nv)(nv)郎年(nian)(nian)十(shi)(shi)六七(qi),艷麗無(wu)(wu)雙,著青(qing)袿飖,珠翠(cui)璀錯,下階答拜(bai)。共升(sheng)堂訖(qi),少(shao)(shao)(shao)年(nian)(nian)乃(nai)(nai)去(qu)(qu)(qu)。房中(zhong)施云(yun)(yun)母(mu)屏風(feng),芙蓉(rong)翠(cui)帳(zhang),以(yi)(yi)鹿瑞錦障暎四壁。大(da)設珍肴,多諸異(yi)果,甘美(mei)鮮(xian)(xian)香。非(fei)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)間者(zhe)(zhe)。食器有七(qi)子(zi)(zi)螺、九枝(zhi)盤、紅螺杯(bei)、蕖葉碗,皆(jie)(jie)黃金隱起(qi),錯以(yi)(yi)瑰碧。有玉(yu)罍,貯(zhu)車師(shi)葡萄酒,芬馨酷烈(lie)。座上(shang)(shang)置連心蠟燭(zhu)(zhu),悉以(yi)(yi)紫(zi)玉(yu)為(wei)盤,光明如(ru)晝。許(xu)(xu)素(su)輕薄無(wu)(wu)檢,又為(wei)物色(se)夸(kua)眩,意甚(shen)(shen)(shen)悅之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。坐(zuo)定(ding),許(xu)(xu)問(wen)曰(yue)(yue):“鄙(bi)夫(fu)固(gu)陋,蓬室湫隘,不(bu)宜乃(nai)(nai)能見(jian)(jian)顧(gu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)深。歡忭交并,未(wei)知所(suo)(suo)措。”答曰(yue)(yue):“大(da)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)為(wei)中(zhong)樂南部將(jiang)軍,不(bu)以(yi)(yi)兒之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)幽賤,欲(yu)使托(tuo)身君(jun)子(zi)(zi)。躬奉(feng)砥礪,幸過良(liang)(liang)(liang)會,欣愿(yuan)誠深。”又問(wen):“南部將(jiang)軍今(jin)(jin)何(he)(he)官也(ye)?”曰(yue)(yue):“是(shi)嵩君(jun)別(bie)(bie)部所(suo)(suo)治,若古之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)四鎮將(jiang)軍也(ye)。”酒酣(han),嘆曰(yue)(yue):“今(jin)(jin)夕何(he)(he)夕,見(jian)(jian)此良(liang)(liang)(liang)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)。”詞韻(yun)清媚,非(fei)所(suo)(suo)聞(wen)見(jian)(jian)。又授箏作《飛鴻(hong)》、《別(bie)(bie)鶴》之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)曲,宛頸而歌(ge),為(wei)許(xu)(xu)送酒。清聲(sheng)哀(ai)暢(chang),容態蕩越(yue),殆不(bu)自持。許(xu)(xu)不(bu)勝其(qi)情,遽前擁之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。乃(nai)(nai)微盻而笑曰(yue)(yue):“既為(wei)詩人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)感悅之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)譏,又玷上(shang)(shang)客掛纓之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)笑,如(ru)何(he)(he)?”因(yin)顧(gu)令徹筵(yan),去(qu)(qu)(qu)燭(zhu)(zhu)就帳(zhang)。恣其(qi)歡狎,豐(feng)肌弱骨,柔滑(hua)如(ru)飴。明日,遍(bian)召家人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),大(da)申婦(fu)禮(li),賜予甚(shen)(shen)(shen)厚(hou)。積(ji)三日,前少(shao)(shao)(shao)年(nian)(nian)又來曰(yue)(yue):“大(da)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)感愧良(liang)(liang)(liang)甚(shen)(shen)(shen),愿(yuan)得相見(jian)(jian),使某奉(feng)迎。”乃(nai)(nai)與俱去(qu)(qu)(qu)。至前獵處,無(wu)(wu)復大(da)樹(shu)(shu)矣(yi)(yi)。但見(jian)(jian)朱門素(su)壁。若今(jin)(jin)大(da)官府(fu)(fu)中(zhong),左(zuo)右列兵衛,皆(jie)(jie)迎拜(bai)。少(shao)(shao)(shao)年(nian)(nian)引(yin)入(ru)(ru),見(jian)(jian)府(fu)(fu)君(jun)冠平天(tian)幘,絳(jiang)紗衣,坐(zuo)高殿上(shang)(shang),庭中(zhong)排戟設纛(dao)。許(xu)(xu)拜(bai)謁,府(fu)(fu)君(jun)為(wei)起(qi),揖之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)升(sheng)階。勞問(wen)曰(yue)(yue):“少(shao)(shao)(shao)女(nv)(nv)(nv)(nv)幼失所(suo)(suo)恃,幸得托(tuo)奉(feng)高明,感慶(qing)無(wu)(wu)量。然此亦冥期神(shen)契,非(fei)至精(jing)相感,何(he)(he)能及此。”許(xu)(xu)謝,乃(nai)(nai)與入(ru)(ru)內。門宇(yu)嚴邃,環廊曲閣,連亙(gen)相通,中(zhong)堂高會,酣(han)燕正歡。因(yin)命(ming)設樂,絲竹繁錯,曲度(du)新奇。歌(ge)妓數(shu)(shu)十(shi)(shi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),皆(jie)(jie)妍冶上(shang)(shang)色(se)。既罷,乃(nai)(nai)以(yi)(yi)金帛厚(hou)遺(yi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),并資仆馬(ma)(ma),家遂贍給。仍(reng)為(wei)起(qi)宅于(yu)里中(zhong),皆(jie)(jie)極(ji)豐(feng)麗。女(nv)(nv)(nv)(nv)郎雅善玄素(su)養生之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)術,許(xu)(xu)體力精(jing)爽,倍于(yu)常矣(yi)(yi),以(yi)(yi)此知其(qi)審神(shen)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)也(ye)。后(hou)時一歸,皆(jie)(jie)女(nv)(nv)(nv)(nv)郎相隨,府(fu)(fu)君(jun)輒饋送甚(shen)(shen)(shen)厚(hou)。數(shu)(shu)十(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian),有子(zi)(zi)五人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),而姿色(se)無(wu)(wu)損。后(hou)許(xu)(xu)卒,乃(nai)(nai)攜子(zi)(zi)俱去(qu)(qu)(qu),不(bu)知所(suo)(suo)在也(ye)。
博(bo)陵崔(cui)(cui)敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke),性(xing)耿直,不(bu)懼神(shen)(shen)鬼(gui)。年十歲(sui)時(shi),常暴死(si)。死(si)十八(ba)年而后活,自(zi)說(shuo)被枉追,敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke)苦自(zi)申理,歲(sui)余(yu)獲(huo)放。王(wang)謂(wei)敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke)曰:“汝合卻還(huan)。然(ran)屋(wu)舍已壞,如何(he)?”敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke)祈固(gu)求還(huan)。王(wang)曰:“宜更(geng)托生(sheng),倍(bei)與官祿。”敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke)不(bu)肯。王(wang)難(nan)以(yi)理屈,徘徊久之,敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke)陳(chen)訴(su)稱冤,王(wang)不(bu)得已,使人(ren)(ren)至西國,求重生(sheng)藥,數載方還(huan)。藥至布(bu)骨,悉皆生(sheng)肉(rou),唯腳心不(bu)生(sheng),骨遂(sui)(sui)(sui)露焉。其后,家頻夢敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke)云(yun):“吾(wu)已活”。遂(sui)(sui)(sui)開(kai)棺。初有(you)氣,養之月余(yu)方愈。敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke)在冥中,檢身(shen)當得十政刺史。遂(sui)(sui)(sui)累求兇闕,輕侮(wu)鬼(gui)神(shen)(shen),卒獲(huo)無恙(yang)。其后,為徐州(zhou)刺史,皆不(bu)敢居(ju)正廳,相傳云(yun):“項羽故殿(dian)也(ye)。”敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke)到州(zhou),即敕(chi)酒掃。視事數日,空中忽(hu)聞大叫,曰:“我西楚(chu)霸(ba)王(wang)也(ye),崔(cui)(cui)敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke)何(he)人(ren)(ren)敢奪吾(wu)所(suo)居(ju)!”敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke)徐云(yun):“鄙哉項羽,生(sheng)不(bu)能與漢高祖西向(xiang)爭(zheng)天下,死(si)乃與崔(cui)(cui)敏(min)(min)殼(ke)(ke)競一敗(bai)屋(wu)乎(hu)且王(wang)死(si)烏江,頭(tou)行萬里,縱有(you)余(yu)靈(ling),何(he)足畏(wei)也(ye)!”乃帖然(ran)無聲(sheng),其廳遂(sui)(sui)(sui)安。后為華州(zhou)刺史。華岳祠傍(bang),有(you)人(ren)(ren)初夜聞廟中喧呼,及視,庭燎甚盛(sheng),兵數百人(ren)(ren)陳(chen)列(lie)。受(shou)敕(chi)云(yun):“當與三(san)郎迎(ying)婦。”又曰:“崔(cui)(cui)使君在州(zhou),勿(wu)妄(wang)飄(piao)風暴雨。”皆云(yun):“不(bu)敢。”既(ji)出,遂(sui)(sui)(sui)無所(suo)見。
唐(tang)仇(chou)嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)者(zhe),京(jing)兆富平人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),家(jia)(jia)(jia)(jia)在簿(bu)臺(tai)村(cun),應(ying)舉人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)洛。出(chu)(chu)京(jing)遇一少年,狀若(ruo)王者(zhe),裘馬(ma)仆(pu)(pu)從甚盛。見(jian)嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)有(you)(you)喜(xi)狀,因(yin)問(wen)何適,嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)云(yun):“應(ying)舉之(zhi)都(dou)(dou)。”人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)云(yun):“吾(wu)(wu)亦(yi)(yi)東(dong)行(xing),喜(xi)君(jun)(jun)相(xiang)逐(zhu)。”嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)問(wen)其(qi)(qi)(qi)姓,云(yun):“姓白(bai)(bai)。”嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)竊(qie)思朝廷(ting)無白(bai)(bai)氏貴(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),心頗疑之(zhi)。經一日(ri),人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)謂(wei)(wei)(wei)嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu):“君(jun)(jun)驢(lv)弱,不(bu)能偕行(xing)。”乃以(yi)(yi)后(hou)乘見(jian)載。數(shu)(shu)日(ri),至(zhi)(zhi)華岳(yue)(yue)廟,謂(wei)(wei)(wei)嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)曰:“吾(wu)(wu)非常(chang)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),天帝(di)使我(wo)(wo)案天下鬼神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen),今須入(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)廟鞫問(wen)。君(jun)(jun)命相(xiang)與(yu)我(wo)(wo)有(you)(you)舊,業已如(ru)此(ci)(ci),能入(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)廟否事(shi)畢,當(dang)俱入(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)都(dou)(dou)。”嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)不(bu)獲已,隨入(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)廟門。便見(jian)翠幙云(yun)黯,陳設甚備(bei)。當(dang)前有(you)(you)牀(chuan),貴(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)當(dang)案而坐,以(yi)(yi)竹倚牀(chuan)坐嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)。尋有(you)(you)教(jiao)(jiao)呼(hu)岳(yue)(yue)神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen),神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)至(zhi)(zhi)俯伏。貴(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)呼(hu)責數(shu)(shu)四(si)(si),因(yin)命左(zuo)右(you)曳出(chu)(chu)。遍召(zhao)(zhao)關中諸神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen),點名閱視(shi)。末至(zhi)(zhi)昆明池神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen),呼(hu)上階(jie)語,請(qing)嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)宜小(xiao)遠(yuan),無預此(ci)(ci)議(yi)。嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)出(chu)(chu)堂后(hou)幕中,聞幕外(wai)有(you)(you)痛楚(chu)聲(sheng),抉幕,見(jian)己(ji)婦(fu)懸頭在庭(ting)樹上,審(shen)其(qi)(qi)(qi)必(bi)死,心色俱壞。須臾,貴(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)召(zhao)(zhao)還,見(jian)嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)色惡,問(wen)其(qi)(qi)(qi)故(gu),具以(yi)(yi)實(shi)對(dui)。再命審(shen)視(shi),還答不(bu)謬。貴(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)驚云(yun):“君(jun)(jun)婦(fu)若(ruo)我(wo)(wo)婦(fu)也(ye),寧得(de)不(bu)料理(li)(li)之(zhi)!”遂(sui)傳(chuan)教(jiao)(jiao)召(zhao)(zhao)岳(yue)(yue)神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)。神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)至(zhi)(zhi),問(wen):“何以(yi)(yi)取(qu)(qu)簿(bu)臺(tai)村(cun)仇(chou)嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)婦(fu),致楚(chu)毒?”神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)初(chu)不(bu)之(zhi)知(zhi)。有(you)(you)碧衣(yi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),云(yun)是(shi)判官(guan)(guan),自后(hou)代(dai)對(dui)曰:“此(ci)(ci)事(shi)天曹(cao)所召(zhao)(zhao),今見(jian)書狀送。”貴(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)令(ling)持(chi)(chi)案來,敕(chi)左(zuo)右(you)封印(yin)之(zhi),至(zhi)(zhi)天帝(di)所,當(dang)持(chi)(chi)出(chu)(chu)。已自白(bai)(bai)帝(di),顧謂(wei)(wei)(wei)岳(yue)(yue)神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen):“可即(ji)放還。”亦(yi)(yi)謂(wei)(wei)(wei)嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu):“本欲至(zhi)(zhi)都(dou)(dou),今不(bu)可矣,宜速還富平。”因(yin)屈指(zhi)料行(xing)程,云(yun):“四(si)(si)日(ri)方(fang)至(zhi)(zhi),恐不(bu)及事(shi),當(dang)以(yi)(yi)駿(jun)馬(ma)相(xiang)借(jie)。君(jun)(jun)后(hou)見(jian)思,可干凈(jing)室(shi)焚(fen)香,我(wo)(wo)當(dang)必(bi)至(zhi)(zhi)。”言訖辭去(qu)(qu)。既出(chu)(chu)門,神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)仆(pu)(pu)策馬(ma)亦(yi)(yi)至(zhi)(zhi),嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)上馬(ma),便至(zhi)(zhi)其(qi)(qi)(qi)家(jia)(jia)(jia)(jia),家(jia)(jia)(jia)(jia)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)倉卒悲(bei)泣(qi)。嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)直入(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru),去(qu)(qu)婦(fu)面衣(yi)候氣,頃之(zhi)遂(sui)活(huo)。舉家(jia)(jia)(jia)(jia)歡(huan)慶,村(cun)里長(chang)老壺(hu)酒(jiu)相(xiang)賀,數(shu)(shu)日(ri)不(bu)已。其(qi)(qi)(qi)后(hou)四(si)(si)五(wu)(wu)日(ri),本身騎驢(lv),與(yu)奴同還,家(jia)(jia)(jia)(jia)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)不(bu)之(zhi)辨也(ye)。內(nei)出(chu)(chu)外(wai)入(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru),相(xiang)遇便合,方(fang)知(zhi)先還即(ji)其(qi)(qi)(qi)魂也(ye)。后(hou)歲余,嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)又(you)應(ying)舉之(zhi)都(dou)(dou)。至(zhi)(zhi)華岳(yue)(yue)祠下,遇鄧州崔(cui)(cui)司法妻(qi)暴亡(wang),哭聲(sheng)哀甚,惻然憫之(zhi)。躬往詣(yi)崔(cui)(cui),令(ling)其(qi)(qi)(qi)輟(chuo)哭,許(xu)為(wei)(wei)料理(li)(li),崔(cui)(cui)甚忻悅。嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)焚(fen)香凈(jing)室(shi),心念貴(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)。有(you)(you)頃遂(sui)至(zhi)(zhi)。歡(huan)敘畢,問(wen)其(qi)(qi)(qi)故(gu),“此(ci)(ci)是(shi)岳(yue)(yue)神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)所為(wei)(wei),誠(cheng)可留也(ye),為(wei)(wei)君(jun)(jun)致二(er)百千。先求(qiu)錢,然后(hou)下手”。因(yin)書九符,云(yun):“先燒(shao)三符,若(ruo)不(bu)愈(yu),更(geng)燒(shao)六(liu)符,當(dang)還矣。”言訖飛去(qu)(qu)。嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)以(yi)(yi)神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)言告崔(cui)(cui),崔(cui)(cui)不(bu)敢違。始燒(shao)三符,日(ri)曉(xiao)未愈(yu),又(you)燒(shao)其(qi)(qi)(qi)余,須臾遂(sui)活(huo)。崔(cui)(cui)問(wen)其(qi)(qi)(qi)妻(qi),“初(chu)入(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)店時,忽見(jian)云(yun)母車在階(jie)下,健卒數(shu)(shu)百人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),各持(chi)(chi)兵器,羅(luo)列(lie)左(zuo)右(you)。傳(chuan)言王使相(xiang)迎(ying),倉卒隨去(qu)(qu)。王見(jian)喜(xi),方(fang)欲結歡(huan),忽有(you)(you)三人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)來云(yun):『太乙神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)問(wen)何以(yi)(yi)奪生(sheng)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)妻(qi)?』神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)惶懼,持(chi)(chi)簿(bu)書云(yun):『天配為(wei)(wei)己(ji)妻(qi),非橫取(qu)(qu)之(zhi)。』然不(bu)肯遣。須臾,有(you)(you)大(da)神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)五(wu)(wu)六(liu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),持(chi)(chi)金杵(chu)至(zhi)(zhi)王庭(ting),徒眾駭(hai)散,獨(du)神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)立樹下。乞宥其(qi)(qi)(qi)命,王遂(sui)引己(ji)還。”嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)自爾方(fang)知(zhi)貴(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)是(shi)太乙神(shen)(shen)(shen)(shen)也(ye)。爾后(hou)累思必(bi)至(zhi)(zhi),為(wei)(wei)嘉(jia)(jia)(jia)福(fu)(fu)回換(huan)五(wu)(wu)六(liu)政官(guan)(guan),大(da)獲其(qi)(qi)(qi)力(li)也(ye)。
開(kai)元中,滑州刺史(shi)韋秀(xiu)莊,暇日(ri)來(lai)城(cheng)樓(lou)望黃河(he)(he)(he)。樓(lou)中忽見一人(ren)(ren),長三尺許(xu),紫衣朱冠,通名參謁。秀(xiu)莊知(zhi)非人(ren)(ren)類,問是何神(shen),答曰:“即城(cheng)隍之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)主(zhu)。”又問何來(lai),答云:“黃河(he)(he)(he)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)神(shen),欲毀我(wo)城(cheng),以端河(he)(he)(he)路(lu),我(wo)固不許(xu)。克(ke)后五(wu)(wu)日(ri),大戰(zhan)于河(he)(he)(he)湄。恐(kong)力不禁(jin),故來(lai)求(qiu)救(jiu)于使君爾。若得二千人(ren)(ren),持(chi)弓弩物色相助,必當克(ke)捷。君之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)城(cheng)也,惟君圖之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。”秀(xiu)莊許(xu)諾,神(shen)乃不見。至其日(ri),秀(xiu)莊帥勁卒(zu)二千人(ren)(ren)登(deng)城(cheng)。河(he)(he)(he)中忽爾晦冥(ming),須臾,有白氣直上十余丈,樓(lou)上有青氣出,相縈繞。秀(xiu)莊命弓弩亂射白氣,氣形漸小,至滅,唯青氣獨(du)存,逶迤如(ru)云峰之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)狀,還入樓(lou)中。初(chu)時(shi),黃河(he)(he)(he)俯近(jin)城(cheng)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)下,此(ci)后漸退,至今五(wu)(wu)六里(li)也。
近代(dai)有(you)士人(ren)(ren)應(ying)舉(ju)之(zhi)(zhi)京(jing),途(tu)次(ci)關西,宿于逆旅,舍小房(fang)中。俄(e)有(you)貴人(ren)(ren)奴(nu)仆數人(ren)(ren),云(yun)(yun)(yun)(yun):“公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)來(lai)宿。”以(yi)幕圍店及他(ta)店四五所(suo)(suo)。人(ren)(ren)初惶遽(ju),未得(de)移(yi)徙。須臾,公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)車聲(sheng)大(da)至(zhi),悉下。店中人(ren)(ren)便拒(ju)戶寢(qin),不(bu)敢出(chu)。公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)于戶前澡浴,令(ling)(ling)索房(fang)內(nei),婢(bi)云(yun)(yun)(yun)(yun):“不(bu)宜有(you)人(ren)(ren)。”既而(er)見某(mou)(mou),群(qun)婢(bi)大(da)罵。公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)令(ling)(ling)呼(hu)出(chu),熟視之(zhi)(zhi)曰:“此(ci)書(shu)生頗開(kai)人(ren)(ren)意,不(bu)宜挫辱,第令(ling)(ling)入房(fang)。”浴畢(bi)召之(zhi)(zhi),言甚會意。使侍(shi)婢(bi)洗濯,舒以(yi)麗服(fu)(fu),乃(nai)施絳帳,鋪錦(jin)茵(yin),及他(ta)寢(qin)玩之(zhi)(zhi)具,極世奢侈,為(wei)禮(li)之(zhi)(zhi)好。明日,相(xiang)(xiang)與還京(jing)。公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)宅(zhai)在懷遠里,內(nei)外奴(nu)婢(bi)數百人(ren)(ren),榮華盛貴,當時(shi)莫比。家(jia)人(ren)(ren)呼(hu)某(mou)(mou)為(wei)駙馬,出(chu)入器(qi)服(fu)(fu)車馬,不(bu)殊(shu)王公(gong)(gong)。某(mou)(mou)有(you)父母在其(qi)(qi)故(gu)宅(zhai),公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)令(ling)(ling)婢(bi)詣宅(zhai)起居,送錢億貫(guan),他(ta)物稱(cheng)是。某(mou)(mou)家(jia)因資,郁為(wei)榮貴。如是七歲,生二(er)子一女。公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)忽言欲為(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)娶(qu)婦。某(mou)(mou)甚愕,怪有(you)此(ci)語。主(zhu)云(yun)(yun)(yun)(yun):“我本非(fei)人(ren)(ren),不(bu)合久為(wei)君(jun)(jun)(jun)婦。君(jun)(jun)(jun)亦(yi)當業有(you)婚媾,知非(fei)恩愛(ai)之(zhi)(zhi)替也。”其(qi)(qi)后亦(yi)更別婚,而(er)往(wang)來(lai)不(bu)絕。婚家(jia)以(yi)其(qi)(qi)一往(wang)輒數日不(bu)還,使人(ren)(ren)候(hou)之(zhi)(zhi),見某(mou)(mou)恒入廢宅(zhai),恐為(wei)鬼(gui)神所(suo)(suo)魅(mei)。他(ta)日,飲之(zhi)(zhi)致醉,乃(nai)命(ming)術士書(shu)符,施衣服(fu)(fu)中,乃(nai)其(qi)(qi)形(xing)體皆遍。某(mou)(mou)后復適公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)家(jia),令(ling)(ling)家(jia)人(ren)(ren)出(chu),止(zhi)之(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)令(ling)(ling)入。某(mou)(mou)初不(bu)了其(qi)(qi)故(gu),倚(yi)門惆(chou)悵。公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)尋出(chu)門下,大(da)相(xiang)(xiang)責讓,云(yun)(yun)(yun)(yun):“君(jun)(jun)(jun)素貧士,我相(xiang)(xiang)抬舉(ju),今為(wei)貴人(ren)(ren)。此(ci)亦(yi)于君(jun)(jun)(jun)不(bu)薄,何故(gu)使婦家(jia)書(shu)符相(xiang)(xiang)間以(yi)我不(bu)能為(wei)殺君(jun)(jun)(jun)也。”某(mou)(mou)視其(qi)(qi)身,方(fang)知有(you)符,求(qiu)謝甚至(zhi)。公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)云(yun)(yun)(yun)(yun):“吾亦(yi)諒(liang)君(jun)(jun)(jun)此(ci)情,然符命(ming)已行,勢不(bu)得(de)住(zhu)。”悉呼(hu)兒女,令(ling)(ling)與父訣,某(mou)(mou)涕泣哽咽。公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)命(ming)左右促裝,即日出(chu)城(cheng)。某(mou)(mou)問其(qi)(qi)居,兼求(qiu)名氏,公(gong)(gong)主(zhu)云(yun)(yun)(yun)(yun):“我華岳第三女也。”言畢(bi)訣去(qu),出(chu)門不(bu)見。
王(wang)僴者,少(shao)應通事舍(she)(she)人(ren)(ren)舉-元末,入京(jing)。至(zhi)(zhi)闕(que)西,息槐(huai)樹下。聞傳(chuan)詔聲,忽見(jian)(jian)數騎(qi),狀(zhuang)如中使(shi),謂僴曰:“為(wei)所(suo)宣傳(chuan),真通事舍(she)(she)人(ren)(ren)矣。”因以后(hou)騎(qi)載僴,僴亦不(bu)知何人(ren)(ren),倉卒隨去。不(bu)久,至(zhi)(zhi)華岳神廟中,使(shi)置僴別院,誡(jie)云(yun):“慎無(wu)私視。”便爾入內。僴獨坐,聞棒(bang)杖(zhang)楚痛之(zhi)聲,因前(qian)行竊窺,見(jian)(jian)其婦為(wei)所(suo)由系頸(jing)于樹,以棒(bang)拷(kao)擊。僴悲(bei)愁佇立,中使(shi)出,見(jian)(jian)慘(can)怛而問(wen)其故。僴涕泗(si)具言其事,使(shi)云(yun):“本欲留君,妻既死(si),理不(bu)可住(zhu)。若更遲延,待婦之(zhi)后(hou)即不(bu)能救。君宜速還(huan)開棺,此即放(fang)妻活(huo)。”乃(nai)命左右(you):“取驛馬送(song)王(wang)舍(she)(she)人(ren)(ren)。”俄見(jian)(jian)一(yi)狐來(lai),僴不(bu)得(de)已,騎(qi)狐而騁。其疾如風,兩日(ri)至(zhi)(zhi)舍(she)(she)。騎(qi)狐乃(nai)其魂(hun)也,僴本身自魂(hun)出之(zhi)后(hou),失(shi)音不(bu)言。魂(hun)既至(zhi)(zhi)家(jia),家(jia)人(ren)(ren)悲(bei)泣(qi)。僴命開棺,其妻已活(huo)。謂僴曰:“何以至(zhi)(zhi)耶?”舉家(jia)歡悅。后(hou)旬日(ri),本身方至(zhi)(zhi)。外傳(chuan)云(yun):“王(wang)郎歸(gui),失(shi)音已十(shi)余日(ri)。”魂(hun)云(yun):“王(wang)郎到矣。”出門迎往(wang),遂(sui)與(yu)其魂(hun)相合焉。
河(he)西(xi)有女郎神。季廣琛(chen)(chen)(chen)(chen)?少時,曾游河(he)西(xi),憩于(yu)(yu)旅舍(she)。晝寢,夢(meng)見(jian)云車,從者數十人(ren),從空而(er)下,稱是女郎姊妹二人(ren)來詣。廣琛(chen)(chen)(chen)(chen)初甚忻悅(yue),及覺開目(mu),竊見(jian)彷(pang)佛尤在。琛(chen)(chen)(chen)(chen)疑是妖,于(yu)(yu)腰(yao)下取劍刃之(zhi)。神乃罵曰(yue):“久好相就,能忍惡心!”遂去。廣琛(chen)(chen)(chen)(chen)說向主(zhu)人(ren),主(zhu)人(ren)曰(yue):“此是女郎神也。”琛(chen)(chen)(chen)(chen)乃自往市酒脯作祭,將謝前日之(zhi)過,神終不(bu)悅(yue)也。于(yu)(yu)是琛(chen)(chen)(chen)(chen)乃題詩于(yu)(yu)其壁上,墨不(bu)成字。后夕(xi),又(you)夢(meng)女郎神來,尤怒曰(yue):“終身遣君不(bu)得(de)封邑也。”
劉可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)大(da),以天寶(bao)中舉(ju)進士(shi),入(ru)京(jing)。出(chu)東(dong)都(dou),途遇少年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),狀如貴公子,服色華(hua)侈,持彈弓而行(xing),賓從(cong)甚偉。初,與(yu)(yu)可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)大(da)相(xiang)(xiang)狎(xia)數日,同行(xing)至華(hua)陰,云(yun)(yun):“有(you)莊(zhuang)在縣東(dong)。”相(xiang)(xiang)邀往。隨至莊(zhuang)所(suo),室宇(yu)宏壯。下客于廳,入(ru)室良久。可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)大(da)竊于中門(men)窺(kui)覷,見一貴人(ren)(ren)在內廳理事,庭中囚徒甚眾,多受拷掠,其(qi)聲酸楚。可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)大(da)疑(yi)非(fei)人(ren)(ren)境(jing),惶(huang)懼欲去(qu)。初,少年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)將入(ru),謂(wei)可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)大(da):“慎(shen)無(wu)私視,恐(kong)有(you)相(xiang)(xiang)累(lei)。”及出(chu),曰:“適以咨白,何爾負約然以此(ci)不(bu)能(neng)復諱。家君是華(hua)山神,相(xiang)(xiang)與(yu)(yu)故(gu)人(ren)(ren),終令有(you)益(yi),可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)無(wu)懼也。”須臾下食(shi),顧從(cong)者:“別取人(ren)(ren)間食(shi)與(yu)(yu)劉秀才。”食(shi)至,相(xiang)(xiang)對各飽,兼(jian)致(zhi)酒(jiu)敘歡,無(wu)所(suo)不(bu)至。可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)大(da)求檢(jian)己簿,當何進達,今年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)身(shen)事復何如。回(hui)(hui)視黃衫吏(li)為檢(jian)。有(you)頃,吏(li)云(yun)(yun):“劉君明(ming)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)當進士(shi)及第,歷官七政(zheng)。”可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)大(da)苦求當年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),吏(li)云(yun)(yun):“當年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)只(zhi)得(de)一政(zheng)縣尉(wei)。”相(xiang)(xiang)為惜(xi)此(ci),可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)大(da)固(gu)求之。少年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)再為改,吏(li)去(qu),屢(lv)回(hui)(hui)央央,惜(xi)其(qi)減祿。可(ke)(ke)(ke)(ke)大(da)恐(kong)鬼神不(bu)信,固(gu)再求之。后竟以此(ci)失職(zhi)。明(ming)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)辭去(qu),至京(jing)及第。數年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),拜滎陽縣尉(wei)而終。
王籍者,太常(chang)璇之(zhi)(zhi)族子也(ye)。干元中,客居會稽。其奴病死(si)(si),數(shu)日復活,云(yun)地(di)下見(jian)(jian)使,吏曰:“汝誰(shui)家奴?”奴具言之(zhi)(zhi)。吏云(yun):“今見(jian)(jian)召(zhao)汝郎作五(wu)道將軍。”因為(wei)著力(li),得(de)免回(hui)。路(lu)中多見(jian)(jian)旌旗隊(dui)仗,奴問為(wei)何所,答曰:“迎王將軍爾。”即還,數(shu)日,籍遂死(si)(si)。死(si)(si)之(zhi)(zhi)日,人見(jian)(jian)車騎繽紛(fen),隊(dui)仗無數(shu)。問其故,皆是(shi)迎籍之(zhi)(zhi)人也(ye)。
潁(ying)陽里正說(shuo)某不得(de)(de)名,曾乘(cheng)醉(zui)還(huan)村(cun),至少婦祠(ci)醉(zui),因系馬臥祠(ci)門(men)下。久之(zhi)欲醒,頭向轉,未能起,聞有人(ren)擊廟(miao)門(men),其(qi)聲(sheng)甚厲。俄聞中(zhong)問:“是(shi)何人(ren)?”答云(yun)(yun)(yun):“所(suo)由令(ling)覓一人(ren)行雨。”廟(miao)中(zhong)云(yun)(yun)(yun):“舉家(jia)往岳廟(miao)作客,今更無(wu)人(ren)。”其(qi)人(ren)云(yun)(yun)(yun):“只將門(men)下臥者亦得(de)(de)。”廟(miao)中(zhong)人(ren)云(yun)(yun)(yun):“此過客,那得(de)(de)使他。”苦(ku)爭不免,遂呼某令(ling)起。隨至一處。蒙蒙悉(xi)是(shi)云(yun)(yun)(yun)氣,有物如駱,其(qi)人(ren)抱某上背,以一瓶授之(zhi)。誡(jie)云(yun)(yun)(yun):“但正抱瓶,無(wu)令(ling)傾側。”其(qi)物遂行。瓶中(zhong)水(shui)紛紛然作點而(er)下。時(shi)天久旱,下視見其(qi)居處,恐雨不足,因爾(er)傾瓶。行雨既(ji)畢,所(suo)由放還(huan)。至廟(miao)門(men),見己尸在水(shui)中(zhong),乃前入便(bian)活(huo)。乘(cheng)馬還(huan)家(jia)。以傾瓶之(zhi)故(gu),其(qi)宅為水(shui)所(suo)漂,人(ren)家(jia)盡死。某自此發狂,數月亦卒。
桐(tong)廬女子(zi)王法(fa)(fa)(fa)(fa)智者,幼(you)事郎子(zi)神。大歷(li)中,忽(hu)聞神作(zuo)大人(ren)(ren)語聲。法(fa)(fa)(fa)(fa)智之父問:“此言(yan)非圣賢乎?”曰:“然(ran)(ran)。我姓滕(teng),名(ming)傳胤,本京(jing)兆萬年人(ren)(ren),宅(zhai)在(zai)崇賢坊。本與(yu)(yu)法(fa)(fa)(fa)(fa)智有(you)因緣。”與(yu)(yu)酬對,深(shen)得(de)物理,前后州縣甚重之。桐(tong)廬縣令鄭鋒(feng),好奇之士,常呼法(fa)(fa)(fa)(fa)智至(zhi)(zhi)舍,令屈滕(teng)十二(er)郎。久之方(fang)至(zhi)(zhi)。其辨對言(yan)語,深(shen)有(you)士風(feng),鋒(feng)聽之不(bu)倦。每見詞人(ren)(ren),談經(jing)誦詩,歡(huan)言(yan)終(zhong)日。常有(you)客僧詣法(fa)(fa)(fa)(fa)智乞(qi)丐(gai)者,神與(yu)(yu)交言(yan),贈(zeng)詩云(yun):“卓立不(bu)求(qiu)名(ming)出家,長懷片(pian)志(zhi)在(zai)青霞。今(jin)日英(ying)雄氣沖蓋,誰能久坐寶(bao)蓮花。”又曾為詩贈(zeng)人(ren)(ren)云(yun):“平生才(cai)不(bu)足,立身信有(you)余。自嘆無大故,君子(zi)莫(mo)相疏。”六年二(er)月二(er)十五日夜,戴孚與(yu)(yu)左衛兵曹徐(xu)晃,龍(long)泉令崔向,丹陽縣丞李(li)從(cong)訓,邑人(ren)(ren)韓謂、蘇修,集于鋒(feng)宅(zhai)。會法(fa)(fa)(fa)(fa)智至(zhi)(zhi),令召(zhao)滕(teng)傳胤。久之方(fang)至(zhi)(zhi)。與(yu)(yu)晃等酬獻(xian)(xian)數百(bai)言(yan),因謂諸賢,請人(ren)(ren)各誦一章(zhang)。誦畢,眾求(qiu)其詩,率(lv)然(ran)(ran)便誦二(er)首,云(yun):“浦口潮(chao)(chao)來初淼漫,蓮舟搖揚(yang)彩(cai)花難。春心不(bu)愜空歸去,會待潮(chao)(chao)平更(geng)折(zhe)(zhe)看(kan)。”云(yun):“眾人(ren)(ren)莫(mo)廝笑。”又誦云(yun):“忽(hu)然(ran)(ran)湖上片(pian)云(yun)飛,不(bu)覺舟中雨濕衣。折(zhe)(zhe)得(de)蓮花渾(hun)忘卻,空將(jiang)荷葉蓋頭歸。”自云(yun):“此作(zuo)亦頗蹀躞。”又囑(zhu)法(fa)(fa)(fa)(fa)智弟與(yu)(yu)鋒(feng)獻(xian)(xian)酬數百(bai)言(yan),乃(nai)去。
山陰縣尉(wei)李佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)者(zhe),以(yi)(yi)大歷(li)二年遇勞,病數十(shi)日(ri)(ri)。中愈,自會(hui)(hui)(hui)稽至龍丘(qiu),會(hui)(hui)(hui)宗人(ren)述(shu)(shu)為(wei)令,佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)止(zhi)令廳數日(ri)(ri),夕(xi)復與客李舉明燈而坐,忽(hu)見衣緋紫(zi)等二十(shi)人(ren),悉秉戎(rong)器,趨謁庭下(xia)。佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)問(wen)何(he)人(ren),答曰(yue):“鬼兵也。大王(wang)用君為(wei)判官,特奉命迎(ying)候,以(yi)(yi)充驅使。”佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)曰(yue):“己(ji)在哀(ai)制(zhi),如是(shi)非禮(li),且(qie)(qie)王(wang)何(he)以(yi)(yi)得(de)知(zhi)有我?”答云(yun)(yun):“是(shi)武義縣令竇堪(kan)(kan)舉君。”佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)云(yun)(yun):“堪(kan)(kan)不相知(zhi),何(he)故見舉?”答云(yun)(yun):“恩命已(yi)行(xing),難以(yi)(yi)辭(ci)(ci)絕。”須(xu)臾,堪(kan)(kan)至,禮(li)謁,蘊籍如平人(ren),坐謂(wei)佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)曰(yue):“王(wang)求(qiu)(qiu)一子婿(xu),兼(jian)令取(qu)甲族,所以(yi)(yi)奉舉,亦由(you)緣業使然。”佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)固辭(ci)(ci)不果。須(xu)臾王(wang)女亦至,芬(fen)香芳(fang)馥,車騎(qi)云(yun)(yun)合。佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)下(xia)階迎(ying)拜,見女容姿(zi)服御,心(xin)頗悅之“謂(wei)佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)曰(yue):“人(ren)誰不死,如君蓋稀(xi),無宜數辭(ci)(ci),以(yi)(yi)致王(wang)怒。”佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)知(zhi)終不免。久之,王(wang)女與堪(kan)(kan)去,留將從(cong)二百余人(ren)。祗(zhi)承判官。翌日(ri)(ri),述(shu)(shu)并(bing)弟造(zao)。同詣(yi)佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi),佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)且(qie)(qie)說始末,云(yun)(yun):“的以(yi)(yi)不活,為(wei)求(qiu)(qiu)一頓食。”述(shu)(shu)為(wei)致盛(sheng)饌。佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)食雉臛,忽(hu)云(yun)(yun)不見碗,呵左(zuo)右:“何(he)以(yi)(yi)收(shou)羹(geng)?”仆于食案,便卒。其妻鄭氏在會(hui)(hui)(hui)稽,喪船至之夕(xi),婢(bi)忽(hu)作(zuo)佐(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)時(shi)靈語,云(yun)(yun):“王(wang)女已(yi)別嫁,但(dan)遣我送(song)妻還。”言甚(shen)凄愴(chuang)也。
永徽初,張琮為(wei)(wei)(wei)南陽令(ling)。寢合中,聞(wen)階前(qian)(qian)竹有呻吟之(zhi)(zhi)聲,就(jiu)視(shi)則無所(suo)見。如此數夜(ye),怪之(zhi)(zhi),乃(nai)祝曰(yue)(yue)(yue):“有神靈者,當相語。”其(qi)(qi)夜(ye),忽有一人從竹中出(chu),形甚弊陋。前(qian)(qian)自陳曰(yue)(yue)(yue):“朱粲(can)之(zhi)(zhi)亂,某(mou)在(zai)兵中為(wei)(wei)(wei)粲(can)所(suo)殺,尸(shi)骸正(zheng)在(zai)明(ming)府(fu)合前(qian)(qian)。一目為(wei)(wei)(wei)竹根(gen)所(suo)損,不堪楚痛。以明(ming)府(fu)仁明(ming),故(gu)輒投告。幸見移葬(zang),敢忘厚恩。”令(ling)謂(wei)曰(yue)(yue)(yue):“如是何不早相聞(wen)?”乃(nai)許(xu)之(zhi)(zhi)。明(ming)日,為(wei)(wei)(wei)具(ju)棺櫬,使掘之(zhi)(zhi),果得一尸(shi),竹根(gen)貫(guan)其(qi)(qi)左目。仍加(jia)時(shi)服,改葬(zang)城外。其(qi)(qi)后令(ling)笞殺一鄉老,其(qi)(qi)家將(jiang)復(fu)仇,謀須令(ling)夜(ye)出(chu),乃(nai)要殺之(zhi)(zhi)。俄而城中失火,延燒(shao)十余家。令(ling)將(jiang)出(chu)按行之(zhi)(zhi),乃(nai)見前(qian)(qian)鬼遮令(ling)馬(ma),曰(yue)(yue)(yue):“明(ming)府(fu)深夜(ye)何所(suo)之(zhi)(zhi)將(jiang)有異(yi)謀。”令(ling)問(wen)為(wei)(wei)(wei)誰,曰(yue)(yue)(yue):“前(qian)(qian)時(shi)得罪于明(ming)府(fu)者。”令(ling)乃(nai)復(fu)入。明(ming)日,掩(yan)捕其(qi)(qi)家,問(wen)之(zhi)(zhi)皆驗,遂窮治之(zhi)(zhi)。夜(ye)更祭(ji)其(qi)(qi)墓,刻石銘于前(qian)(qian)曰(yue)(yue)(yue):“身徇(xun)國(guo)難,死不忘忠。烈(lie)烈(lie)貞魂,實為(wei)(wei)(wei)鬼雄。”
高(gao)宗營(ying)大明宮(gong)。宣(xuan)政殿始成,每夜聞數十(shi)騎(qi)行殿左右,殿中(zhong)宿衛者(zhe)皆見焉(yan),衣(yi)馬甚潔。如此(ci)十(shi)余日,高(gao)宗乃使術者(zhe)劉門(men)奴(nu)問(wen)其(qi)故(gu)。對(dui)曰:“我(wo)(wo)(wo)漢楚王戊之(zhi)太子(zi)也。”門(men)奴(nu)詰問(wen)之(zhi);“案《漢書》,楚王與七國謀反,漢兵(bing)誅之(zhi),夷宗覆族,安(an)有遺(yi)嗣乎(hu)?”答曰:“王起(qi)兵(bing)時,留吾(wu)在長(chang)安(an)。及王誅后,天(tian)子(zi)念我(wo)(wo)(wo),置而不殺(sha),養于(yu)宮(gong)中(zhong)。后以(yi)(yi)病死,葬于(yu)此(ci)。天(tian)子(zi)憐我(wo)(wo)(wo),殮以(yi)(yi)玉(yu)(yu)魚(yu)一雙(shuang),今在正殿東北角。史臣(chen)遺(yi)略,是(shi)以(yi)(yi)不見于(yu)書。”門(men)奴(nu)曰:“今皇帝(di)在此(ci),汝何敢庭中(zhong)擾擾乎(hu)?”對(dui)曰:“此(ci)是(shi)我(wo)(wo)(wo)故(gu)宅,今既在天(tian)子(zi)宮(gong)中(zhong),動出頗見拘(ju)限(xian),甚不樂。乞改葬我(wo)(wo)(wo)于(yu)高(gao)敞美地,誠(cheng)所望也。慎無奪我(wo)(wo)(wo)玉(yu)(yu)魚(yu)。”門(men)奴(nu)奏(zou)之(zhi),帝(di)令改葬。發其(qi)處,果得古墳,棺已朽腐,傍有玉(yu)(yu)魚(yu)一雙(shuang),制甚精巧。乃敕(chi)易(yi)棺櫬,以(yi)(yi)禮(li)葬之(zhi)于(yu)苑外,并以(yi)(yi)玉(yu)(yu)魚(yu)隨之(zhi)。于(yu)此(ci)遂絕(jue)。
張仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan),幼時貧乏,恒在東都北(bei)市(shi)寓居。有閻庚(geng)(geng)(geng)者,馬(ma)牙荀(xun)子(zi)(zi)之子(zi)(zi)也(ye),好善自(zi)喜,慕仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)之德,恒竊(qie)父資,以(yi)給其(qi)(qi)衣食,亦累年(nian)矣。荀(xun)子(zi)(zi)每怒庚(geng)(geng)(geng),云(yun)(yun):“汝商販之流,彼(bi)才學(xue)之士,于(yu)汝何有,而破產以(yi)奉?”仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)聞(wen)其(qi)(qi)辭(ci),謂(wei)(wei)庚(geng)(geng)(geng)曰:“坐我累君,今(jin)將適詣白鹿山,所勞(lao)相資,不(bu)(bu)(bu)敢忘也(ye)。”庚(geng)(geng)(geng)久為仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)胥附之友,心不(bu)(bu)(bu)忍別,謂(wei)(wei)仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)曰:“方(fang)愿志(zhi)學(xue),今(jin)欲皆(jie)行(xing)。”仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)奇有志(zhi),許(xu)(xu)焉(yan)。庚(geng)(geng)(geng)乃私備驢馬(ma)糧食同(tong)去。六日(ri)至陳留,宿(su)逆旅,仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)舍其(qi)(qi)內房。房外有牀,久之,一(yi)(yi)客后(hou)至,坐于(yu)牀所。仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)見其(qi)(qi)視瞻(zhan)非凡,謂(wei)(wei)庚(geng)(geng)(geng)自(zi)外持(chi)壺酒至。仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)以(yi)酒先屬(shu)客,客不(bu)(bu)(bu)敢受,固(gu)屬(shu)之,因與合(he)飲。酒酣歡甚,乃同(tong)房而宿(su)。中夕,相問行(xing)李,客答曰:“吾非人(ren)(ren),乃地曹耳。地府令(ling)主(zhu)河北(bei)婚(hun)姻(yin),絆(ban)男女腳。”仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)視其(qi)(qi)衣裝,見袋中細繩,方(fang)信焉(yan)。因求(qiu)(qiu)問己榮位(wei)(wei)年(nian)壽,鬼言亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)年(nian)八十余,位(wei)(wei)極(ji)人(ren)(ren)臣。復問庚(geng)(geng)(geng),鬼云(yun)(yun):“庚(geng)(geng)(geng)命貧,無位(wei)(wei)祿(lu)。”仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)問何以(yi)致(zhi)之,鬼云(yun)(yun):“或絆(ban)得佳女,配之有相,當(dang)能得耳。今(jin)河北(bei)去白鹿山百余里,有一(yi)(yi)村中王老女,相極(ji)貴。頃已絆(ban)與人(ren)(ren)訖,當(dang)相為解彼(bi)絆(ban)此,以(yi)成閻侯(hou)也(ye)。第速行(xing),欲至其(qi)(qi)村,當(dang)有大(da)雨(yu)濡濕,以(yi)此為信。”因訣去。仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)與庚(geng)(geng)(geng)行(xing)六七日(ri)至村。遇(yu)大(da)雨(yu),衣裝濕污,乃至村西求(qiu)(qiu)王氏舍焉(yan)☆門,久之方(fang)出,謝客云(yun)(yun):“家(jia)(jia)有小不(bu)(bu)(bu)得意(yi)(yi),所以(yi)遲遲,無訝(ya)也(ye)。”仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)問其(qi)(qi)故,云(yun)(yun):“己唯一(yi)(yi)女,先許(xu)(xu)適西村張家(jia)(jia)。今(jin)日(ri)納財,非意(yi)(yi)單(dan)寡,此乃相輕之義,已決罷婚(hun)矣。”仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)等(deng)相顧(gu)微哂。留數(shu)日(ri),主(zhu)人(ren)(ren)極(ji)歡。仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)乃云(yun)(yun):“閻侯(hou)是已外弟,盛年(nian)志(zhi)學(xue),未結婚(hun)姻(yin)。”主(zhu)人(ren)(ren)辭(ci)以(yi)田舍家(jia)(jia),然有喜色。仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)固(gu)求(qiu)(qiu),方(fang)許(xu)(xu)焉(yan),以(yi)馬(ma)驢及他(ta)赍(ji)為贄。數(shu)日(ri),成親畢,留閻侯(hou)止(zhi)王氏,仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)獨往,主(zhu)人(ren)(ren)贈(zeng)送之。其(qi)(qi)后(hou)數(shu)年(nian),仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)亶(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)遷侍御(yu)史、并州(zhou)長史、御(yu)史大(da)夫知(zhi)政(zheng)事。后(hou)庚(geng)(geng)(geng)累遇(yu)提挈(qie),竟(jing)至一(yi)(yi)州(zhou)。
則(ze)天時(shi),狄仁杰(jie)(jie)為(wei)寧州刺(ci)史(shi)(shi)。其宅素兇(xiong)。先時(shi)刺(ci)史(shi)(shi)死(si)者十余輩。杰(jie)(jie)初(chu)至,吏白:“官舍(she)(she)久兇(xiong),先后無(wu)敢(gan)居(ju)者,且榛荒棘毀,已不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可居(ju),請舍(she)(she)他(ta)所。”杰(jie)(jie)曰:“刺(ci)史(shi)(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)舍(she)(she)本宅,何(he)別舍(she)(she)乎(hu)?”命(ming)去封鎖(suo)葺(qi)治,居(ju)之不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)疑(yi)。數(shu)夕,詭怪奇異,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可勝(sheng)紀。杰(jie)(jie)怒,謂曰:“吾(wu)(wu)是(shi)(shi)刺(ci)史(shi)(shi),此即吾(wu)(wu)宅,汝(ru)曲吾(wu)(wu)直,何(he)為(wei)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)識(shi)分理,反乃以邪(xie)忤正汝(ru)若(ruo)是(shi)(shi)神,速聽明教,若(ruo)是(shi)(shi)鬼(gui)魅,何(he)敢(gan)相(xiang)干!吾(wu)(wu)無(wu)懼汝(ru)之心,徒為(wei)千變(bian)萬(wan)化耳。必理要相(xiang)見(jian),何(he)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)以禮出耶!”斯須(xu),有一人具衣冠(guan)而(er)前,曰:“某(mou)是(shi)(shi)某(mou)朝官,葬堂階(jie)西樹(shu)下(xia)。體魄為(wei)樹(shu)根所穿,楚(chu)痛不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)堪忍(ren)。頃前數(shu)公,多欲自陳(chen),其人輒死(si),幽途(tu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)達,以至于今。使君誠能改(gai)葬,何(he)敢(gan)遷延于此!”言訖不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見(jian)。明日,杰(jie)(jie)令發之,果如(ru)其言。乃為(wei)改(gai)葬,自此絕也。
唐兵部尚書李暠,時之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)正人(ren)也-元初,有婦(fu)人(ren)詣暠,容貌風流(liu),言(yan)語學識,為(wei)時第一。暠不敢受。會(hui)太常(chang)卿(qing)姜皎(jiao)至,暠以(yi)婦(fu)人(ren)與(yu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。皎(jiao)大會(hui)公卿(qing),婦(fu)人(ren)自云善相,見(jian)張說,曰:“宰(zai)臣之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)相。”遂相諸公卿(qing),言(yan)無不中。謂皎(jiao)曰:“君雖有相,然不得壽(shou)終。”酒(jiu)闌(lan),皎(jiao)狎(xia)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)于別室(shi)。媚言(yan)遍至,將及其私。公卿(qing)迭往窺睹。時暠在座,最后(hou)往視,婦(fu)人(ren)于是呦然有聲。皎(jiao)驚墮地,取火照之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),見(jian)牀(chuan)下有白(bai)骨。當時議者以(yi)暠貞正,故(gu)鬼神(shen)懼焉。
幽州節(jie)(jie)度張守(shou)珪(gui)(gui),少時(shi)為河西(xi)主將,守(shou)玉門關。其(qi)軍校皆(jie)(jie)勤(qin)勇善斗,每探(tan)候深入(ru),頗以劫掠(lve)為事。西(xi)城胡僧(seng)(seng)者,自西(xi)京(jing)造袈(jia)裟二(er)十(shi)余(yu)馱(tuo),還大竺國。其(qi)徒(tu)二(er)十(shi)余(yu)人。探(tan)騎意是羅錦等物,乃劫掠(lve)之(zhi)。殺其(qi)眾盡,至(zhi)胡僧(seng)(seng),刀棒(bang)亂(luan)下(xia)(xia)而不能(neng)傷,探(tan)者異焉。既而索馱(tuo),唯得袈(jia)裟,意甚悔(hui)恨,因于僧(seng)(seng)前(qian)(qian)追悔(hui),擗踴悲涕(ti)。久(jiu)之(zhi),僧(seng)(seng)乃曰:“此(ci)輩前(qian)(qian)身,皆(jie)(jie)負(fu)守(shou)將命,唯趁僧(seng)(seng)鬼是枉死耳(er)。然汝守(shou)將祿位重,后當為節(jie)(jie)度、大夫等官,此(ci)輩亦(yi)如君何(he)!可白守(shou)將,為修(xiu)福(fu)耳(er)。然后數年(nian),守(shou)將合有(you)小厄(e),亦(yi)有(you)所以免之(zhi)。”騎還白守(shou)珪(gui)(gui),珪(gui)(gui)留(liu)僧(seng)(seng)供(gong)養,累年(nian)去(qu)。后守(shou)珪(gui)(gui)與其(qi)徒(tu)二(er)十(shi)五人,至(zhi)伊蘭山(shan)探(tan)賊(zei),胡騎數千猝(cu)至(zhi)。守(shou)珪(gui)(gui)力不能(neng)抗,下(xia)(xia)馬脫鞍,示以閑暇。騎來漸逼(bi),守(shou)珪(gui)(gui)謂左(zuo)右:“為之(zhi)奈何(he),若不獲已(yi),事理須戰。”忽(hu)見山(shan)下(xia)(xia)紅(hong)旗數百(bai)騎突前(qian)(qian)出戰,守(shou)珪(gui)(gui)隨之(zhi),穿其(qi)一(yi)角,尋(xun)俱得出,虜不敢逐。紅(hong)旗下(xia)(xia)將謂守(shou)珪(gui)(gui)曰:“吾是漢之(zhi)李廣,知(zhi)君有(you)難(nan),故此(ci)相(xiang)救。后富(fu)貴,毋相(xiang)忘(wang)也。”言訖不見。守(shou)珪(gui)(gui)竟至(zhi)幽州節(jie)(jie)度、御史大夫。
開元中(zhong),洛陽令(ling)(ling)楊玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)常(chang)因出(chu)行,見槐(huai)陰下有卜者(zhe),令(ling)(ling)過(guo),端坐自(zi)(zi)若。伍伯訶(he)使起(qi)避,不(bu)動(dong),玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)令(ling)(ling)散(san)手拘至(zhi)(zhi)廳事(shi)(shi),將捶之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。躬自(zi)(zi)責(ze)問(wen),術(shu)者(zhe)舉(ju)(ju)首曰(yue):“君(jun)(jun)(jun)是兩日(ri)縣令(ling)(ling),何(he)(he)以責(ze)人(ren)(ren)?”玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)問(wen)其(qi)事(shi)(shi),曰(yue):“兩日(ri)后,君(jun)(jun)(jun)當命終。”玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)甚愕(e),問(wen)何(he)(he)以知(zhi)(zhi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),術(shu)者(zhe)具告所見。舉(ju)(ju)家驚懼,謂術(shu)者(zhe)曰(yue):“子能(neng)(neng)知(zhi)(zhi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),必能(neng)(neng)禳之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),若之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)何(he)(he)而(er)免(mian)也(ye)?”玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)再(zai)拜(bai)求解。術(shu)者(zhe)曰(yue):“當以君(jun)(jun)(jun)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)聞見,以衛執(zhi)事(shi)(shi),免(mian)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)與否(fou),未(wei)可(ke)(ke)知(zhi)(zhi)也(ye)。”乃引玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)入東(dong)院(yuan)亭中(zhong),令(ling)(ling)玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)被發跣足(zu),墻面而(er)立,己則據案(an)而(er)書(shu)符。中(zhong)夕之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)后,喜(xi)謂玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)曰(yue):“今(jin)夕且幸免(mian)其(qi)即(ji)來(lai),明(ming)日(ri),可(ke)(ke)以三十(shi)張紙作錢,及(ji)多造餅餤與壺(hu)酒,出(chu)定罪門(men)外,桑林之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)間,俟人(ren)(ren)過(guo)者(zhe)則飲之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。皂裘右(you)袒(tan),即(ji)召君(jun)(jun)(jun)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)使也(ye)。若留而(er)飲餤,,君(jun)(jun)(jun)其(qi)無憂(you),不(bu)然,寔難以濟。君(jun)(jun)(jun)亦宜易衣服,處(chu)小室(shi)以伺之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),善(shan)為辭謝,問(wen)以所欲。予之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)策盡于(yu)是矣(yi)。”玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)如(ru)其(qi)言。洎日(ri)西景,酒餤將罄,而(er)皂裘不(bu)至(zhi)(zhi),玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)深以憂(you)。須臾遂(sui)至(zhi)(zhi),使人(ren)(ren)邀屈,皂裘欣然,累有所進。玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)乃拜(bai)謁,人(ren)(ren)云(yun):“君(jun)(jun)(jun)昨何(he)(he)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)數(shu)至(zhi)(zhi)所居,遂(sui)不(bu)復見。疑于(yu)東(dong)院(yuan)安處(chu),善(shan)神(shen)監護,故(gu)不(bu)敢犯。今(jin)地府(fu)相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)招未(wei)已(yi),奈何(he)(he)?”玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)再(zai)拜(bai)求救者(zhe)千數(shu),兼燒(shao)紙錢,資其(qi)行用。鬼(gui)(gui)云(yun):“感(gan)施大惠,明(ming)日(ri),當與府(fu)中(zhong)諸吏同來(lai)謀之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),宜盛饌相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)待(dai)。”言訖不(bu)見。明(ming)日(ri),玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)設(she)供帳,極(ji)諸海陸(lu)。候(hou)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)日(ri)晚,使者(zhe)與其(qi)徒數(shu)十(shi)人(ren)(ren)同至(zhi)(zhi),宴樂殊(shu)常(chang)浩(hao)暢。相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)語曰(yue):“楊長(chang)官事(shi)(shi),焉(yan)得(de)不(bu)盡心耶!”久之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),謂玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang):“君(jun)(jun)(jun)對坊楊錫(xi),亦有才干,今(jin)揩王作金以取彼。君(jun)(jun)(jun)至(zhi)(zhi)五更鼓聲動(dong),宜于(yu)錫(xi)門(men)相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)候(hou)。若聞哭(ku)聲,君(jun)(jun)(jun)則免(mian)矣(yi)。玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)如(ru)其(qi)言往。見鬼(gui)(gui)便在樹頭,欲往錫(xi)舍,為狗所咋,未(wei)能(neng)(neng)得(de)前(qian)。俄(e)從缺墻中(zhong)入,遲(chi)回聞哭(ku)聲,玚(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)遂(sui)獲免(mian)。
開元中(zhong)(zhong),易州(zhou)司馬(ma)張果(guo)女,年十五,病死,不(bu)忍遠棄,權瘞(yi)于(yu)東院閣下(xia)。后轉(zhuan)鄭州(zhou)長史(shi),以(yi)(yi)(yi)路遠須復(fu)送喪,遂留。俄有(you)劉(liu)乙(yi)代之。其子(zi)常止(zhi)閣中(zhong)(zhong),日(ri)暮仍行(xing)門(men)外(wai),見(jian)(jian)(jian)一女子(zi),容色(se)豐麗,自外(wai)而(er)來(lai)。劉(liu)疑有(you)相(xiang)奔者,即前(qian)(qian)詣(yi)之,欣然款浹,同留共宿(su)。情態(tai)纏綿,舉(ju)止(zhi)閑婉,劉(liu)愛惜甚至。后暮輒來(lai),達曙方去(qu)。經數月(yue),忽謂劉(liu)曰:“我前(qian)(qian)張司馬(ma)女,不(bu)幸夭沒,近(jin)殯此閣。命當重活,與君好合。后三日(ri),君可見(jian)(jian)(jian)發,徐候氣息,慎無(wu)橫見(jian)(jian)(jian)驚傷也。”指其所瘞(yi)處而(er)去(qu)。劉(liu)至期(qi)甚喜,獨與左右一奴夜發,深四(si)五尺,得一漆棺。徐開視(shi)之,女顏色(se)鮮(xian)發,肢體溫(wen)軟,衣服妝梳(shu),無(wu)污壞者。舉(ju)置(zhi)牀上,細(xi)細(xi)有(you)鼻(bi)氣。少頃,口(kou)中(zhong)(zhong)有(you)氣。灌以(yi)(yi)(yi)薄(bo)糜,少少能(neng)咽(yan)。至明復(fu)活,漸能(neng)言語坐起。數日(ri),始(shi)恐父(fu)母(mu)之知也,因辭以(yi)(yi)(yi)習書,不(bu)便出閣,常使赍(ji)飲食詣(yi)閣中(zhong)(zhong)。乙(yi)疑子(zi)有(you)異(yi),因其在外(wai)送客,竊視(shi)其房,見(jian)(jian)(jian)女存焉。問其所由,悉(xi)具白,棺木尚在牀下(xia)。乙(yi)與妻覷欷曰:“此既冥期(qi)至感,何不(bu)早相(xiang)聞。”遂匿于(yu)堂中(zhong)(zhong)。兒不(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)女,甚驚,父(fu)乃(nai)謂曰:“此既申(shen)契殊會,千載所無(wu),白我何傷乎而(er)過為(wei)隱蔽。”因遣使詣(yi)鄭州(zhou),具以(yi)(yi)(yi)報果(guo)。因請(qing)結婚(hun)(hun),父(fu)母(mu)哀感驚喜,則克日(ri)赴婚(hun)(hun),遂成嘉偶(ou)。后產數子(zi)。
開元(yuan)初,華妃有寵(chong),生(sheng)慶(qing)王(wang)(wang)琮,薨(hong)葬(zang)(zang)長安。至二十八年(nian),有盜(dao)(dao)(dao)欲(yu)發(fa)妃冢(zhong),遂(sui)于(yu)(yu)塋處(chu)百余步(bu)偽筑(zhu)大(da)墳,若將(jiang)葬(zang)(zang)者(zhe)。乃于(yu)(yu)其(qi)(qi)內潛(qian)通地道(dao),直達冢(zhong)中(zhong)。剖棺(guan)(guan),妃面如(ru)生(sheng),四肢皆可屈(qu)伸。盜(dao)(dao)(dao)等(deng)恣行凌辱(ru),仍截(jie)腕取金釧(chuan),兼去其(qi)(qi)舌,恐通夢(meng)也(ye)。側(ce)立其(qi)(qi)尸,而于(yu)(yu)陰(yin)中(zhong)置(zhi)燭,悉取藏內珍寶,不可勝數,皆徙置(zhi)偽冢(zhong)。乃于(yu)(yu)城中(zhong),以(yi)軟車載空棺(guan)(guan)會,日暮,便宿墓中(zhong),取諸物(wu)置(zhi)魂車及(ji)送葬(zang)(zang)車中(zhong),方掩而歸。其(qi)(qi)未葬(zang)(zang)之前,慶(qing)王(wang)(wang)夢(meng)妃被(bei)發(fa)裸形,悲泣而來,曰:“盜(dao)(dao)(dao)發(fa)吾(wu)冢(zhong),又加(jia)截(jie)辱(ru),孤魂幽枉(wang),如(ru)何可言(yan)。然吾(wu)必伺其(qi)(qi)敗于(yu)(yu)春明門(men)(men)也(ye)。”因備說其(qi)(qi)狀而去。王(wang)(wang)素至孝,忽驚起涕泣。明旦入奏,帝乃召京兆尹、萬年(nian)令(ling),以(yi)物(wu)色備盜(dao)(dao)(dao)甚急。及(ji)盜(dao)(dao)(dao)載物(wu)歸也(ye),欲(yu)入春明門(men)(men),門(men)(men)吏訶止之。乃搜車中(zhong),皆諸寶物(wu)。盡(jin)(jin)收群盜(dao)(dao)(dao),拷(kao)掠即(ji)服,逮捕(bu)數十人,皆貴戚(qi)子(zi)弟無(wu)行檢者(zhe)。王(wang)(wang)乃請其(qi)(qi)魁帥五(wu)人,得親報仇(chou),帝許之。皆探取五(wu)臟,烹而祭之。其(qi)(qi)余盡(jin)(jin)榜(bang)殺于(yu)(yu)京兆門(men)(men)外。改葬(zang)(zang)貴妃,王(wang)(wang)心喪(sang)三(san)年(nian)。
開(kai)元中,涼州節度郭知運出巡,去州百里,于驛(yi)中暴卒。其(qi)魂(hun)遂(sui)出,令驛(yi)長鎖房勿開(kai),因而卻回(hui)府(fu),徒從不知也。至舍四(si)十余(yu)日,處置公私(si)事(shi)畢(bi),遂(sui)使人往驛(yi)迎己喪。既至,自看其(qi)殮(lian)。殮(lian)訖,因與家人辭訣,投(tou)身(shen)入棺(guan),遂(sui)不復見(jian)。
王(wang)光本(ben),開元時為(wei)洛州別駕。春月,刺(ci)史使(shi)光本(ben)行(xing)縣(xian)。去數日(ri),其妻李(li)氏(shi)暴卒(zu)。及還,追以不(bu)(bu)親醫(yi)藥(yao),意是枉死(si)。居恒慟哭(ku)(ku)(ku),哀感傍鄰。后(hou)十余日(ri),屬諸子(zi)盡哭(ku)(ku)(ku),光本(ben)因(yin)復慟哭(ku)(ku)(ku)百余聲。忽見李(li)氏(shi)自(zi)幃而出,靚妝炫服,有逾平素。光本(ben)輟(chuo)哭(ku)(ku)(ku),問(wen)其死(si)事。李(li)氏(shi)云(yun)(yun):“妾尚未(wei)得去,猶(you)在此堂(tang)。聞(wen)君哀哭(ku)(ku)(ku)慟之甚,某在泉途,倍益凄感。語云(yun)(yun):『生人過悲,使(shi)幽(you)壤不(bu)(bu)安。』信(xin)斯言也。自(zi)茲以往,不(bu)(bu)欲(yu)主君如(ru)是,以累幽(you)冥耳(er)。”因(yin)付囑家人,度女(nv)為(wei)尼(ni),放婢為(wei)平人,事事有理(li)。留一食許,謂(wei)光本(ben)曰:“人鬼道(dao)殊,不(bu)(bu)宜久住(zhu),此益深恨。”言訖,入堂(tang)中(zhong)遂(sui)滅。男女(nv)及他人,但聞(wen)李(li)氏(shi)言,唯光本(ben)見耳(er)。
楊元英,則天時(shi)(shi)為太(tai)常卿(qing),開元中,亡已(yi)二十載。其子(zi)(zi)因至(zhi)(zhi)冶(ye)成坊(fang)削家,識(shi)其父壙(kuang)中劍(jian),心異之。問(wen)削師:“何得此(ci)劍(jian)”云(yun):“有(you)貴人(ren)形狀衣服,將令修理,期(qi)明(ming)日(ri)(ri)午時(shi)(shi)來取(qu)(qu)(qu)。”子(zi)(zi)意是(shi)父授,復疑父冢(zhong)為人(ren)所開。至(zhi)(zhi)日(ri)(ri),與弟(di)同(tong)往(wang)削師家室中伺之。至(zhi)(zhi)時(shi)(shi)取(qu)(qu)(qu)劍(jian),乃其父也,騎白馬(ma),衣服如生時(shi)(shi),從者五(wu)六人(ren)。兄弟(di)出(chu)(chu)拜(bai)道左,悲涕(ti)久之。元英取(qu)(qu)(qu)劍(jian)下馬(ma),引(yin)諸子(zi)(zi)于僻處,分處家事(shi)。末問(wen):“汝(ru)母(mu)在(zai)家否?”云(yun):“合葬已(yi)十五(wu)年(nian)。”元英言(yan)(yan):“我(wo)初不(bu)知。”再(zai)三(san)嘆息。謂(wei)子(zi)(zi)曰:“我(wo)有(you)公(gong)事(shi),不(bu)獲久往(wang)。明(ming)日(ri)(ri),汝(ru)等(deng)可(ke)再(zai)至(zhi)(zhi)此(ci),當取(qu)(qu)(qu)?少(shao)資,助(zhu)汝(ru)辛苦。”子(zi)(zi)如期(qi)至(zhi)(zhi),元英亦至(zhi)(zhi),得三(san)百(bai)千。誡之云(yun):“數日(ri)(ri)須用(yong)盡。”言(yan)(yan)訖訣(jue)(jue)去(qu)。子(zi)(zi)等(deng)隨行(xing)涕(ti)泣(qi),元英又謂(wei)子(zi)(zi)曰:“汝(ru)等(deng)不(bu)了此(ci)事(shi),人(ren)鬼路殊,寧(ning)有(you)百(bai)年(nian)父子(zi)(zi)耶(ye)?”言(yan)(yan)訖訣(jue)(jue)去(qu)。子(zi)(zi)隨騁出(chu)(chu)上東門,遙望入(ru)邙山中,數十步忽隱不(bu)見。數日(ri)(ri),市具都盡。三(san)日(ri)(ri)后,市人(ren)皆得紙錢。
薛矜(jin)(jin)者,開元(yuan)中為長安尉。主知宮市(shi)(shi),迭日于(yu)東西(xi)二(er)市(shi)(shi)。一(yi)(yi)日于(yu)東市(shi)(shi)市(shi)(shi)前見(jian)(jian)(jian)一(yi)(yi)坐車(che),車(che)中婦(fu)人(ren)手如(ru)白雪(xue),矜(jin)(jin)慕(mu)之。使(shi)左右(you)持(chi)銀鏤小合(he),立(li)于(yu)車(che)側。婦(fu)人(ren)使(shi)侍婢問價,云(yun):“此(ci)是長安薛少府(fu)物,處(chu)分(fen)令車(che)中若問,便(bian)宜(yi)(yi)餉之。”婦(fu)人(ren)甚喜謝。矜(jin)(jin)微挑(tiao)之,遂(sui)欣然,便(bian)謂矜(jin)(jin)曰:“我在(zai)金光門外(wai),君宜(yi)(yi)相訪也(ye)。”矜(jin)(jin)使(shi)左右(you)隨至宅(zhai)。翌(yi)日,往來過(guo),見(jian)(jian)(jian)婦(fu)人(ren)門外(wai)騎甚眾,踟躕(chu)未通■各引去(qu),矜(jin)(jin)令白己在(zai)門,使(shi)左右(you)送刺(ci),乃(nai)邀至外(wai)廳。令矜(jin)(jin)坐,云(yun):“待(dai)妝束(shu)。”矜(jin)(jin)覺火(huo)冷,心(xin)竊疑(yi)怪。須臾(yu),引入堂中。其(qi)幔是青布,遙(yao)見(jian)(jian)(jian)一(yi)(yi)燈(deng),火(huo)色(se)(se)微暗,將(jiang)近又遠。疑(yi)非人(ren)也(ye),然業已求見(jian)(jian)(jian),見(jian)(jian)(jian)畢當去(qu)。心(xin)中恒(heng)誦《千手觀音咒》。至內(nei),見(jian)(jian)(jian)坐帳中,以啰巾蒙首,矜(jin)(jin)苦(ku)牽曳(ye),久之方(fang)落。見(jian)(jian)(jian)婦(fu)人(ren)面長尺(chi)余,正青色(se)(se),有聲如(ru)狗,矜(jin)(jin)遂(sui)絕倒。從(cong)者至其(qi)室宇,但見(jian)(jian)(jian)殯宮,矜(jin)(jin)在(zai)其(qi)內(nei),絕無間隙。遽推壁倒,見(jian)(jian)(jian)矜(jin)(jin)已死,微心(xin)上暖,移就店將(jiang)息(xi)。經月(yue)余方(fang)蘇矣。
東都思(si)恭(gong)坊朱(zhu)(zhu)七(qi)娘者,倡嫗也。有王(wang)將(jiang)軍素與(yu)交通-元中(zhong),王(wang)遇疾(ji)卒,已(yi)半歲,朱(zhu)(zhu)不知也。其(qi)年七(qi)月(yue),王(wang)忽(hu)來朱(zhu)(zhu)處。久之(zhi),日(ri)暮,曰:“能隨至溫(wen)柔坊宅否(fou)?”朱(zhu)(zhu)欲(yu)許(xu)焉(yan)。其(qi)女彈(dan)唱有名,不欲(yu)母往(wang),乃曰:“將(jiang)軍止此故佳,將(jiang)還,有所憚耶?”不獲已(yi),王(wang)以(yi)后騎載去。入院,歡洽如故。明(ming)旦,王(wang)氏(shi)使婢(bi)收靈牀被(bei),見一婦(fu)人在(zai)被(bei)中(zhong),遽(ju)走還白。王(wang)氏(shi)諸(zhu)子(zi),驚而(er)來視。問其(qi)故,知亡(wang)父所引,哀(ai)慟久之(zhi)。遂送還家焉(yan)。
李(li)(li)光(guang)(guang)遠(yuan),開元(yuan)中。為館陶令(ling)。時大(da)旱,光(guang)(guang)遠(yuan)大(da)為旱書(shu),書(shu)就暴(bao)卒。卒后,縣(xian)申州,州司馬覆破其(qi)旱。百(bai)(bai)姓(xing)(xing)胥怨,有(you)慟哭(ku)者,皆曰:“長官不死(si),寧有(you)是耶?”其(qi)夜,光(guang)(guang)遠(yuan)忽(hu)乘白(bai)馬來詣旱坊。謂百(bai)(bai)姓(xing)(xing)曰:“我(wo)雖死(si),旱不慮不成,司馬何人,敢沮斯議!”遂(sui)與百(bai)(bai)姓(xing)(xing)詣司馬宅。通云:“李(li)(li)明府(fu)欲見(jian)。”司馬大(da)懼,使人致(zhi)謝。光(guang)(guang)遠(yuan)責云:“公(gong)非人,旱是百(bai)(bai)姓(xing)(xing)事,何以生死(si)為準,宜(yi)速(su)成之。不然,當(dang)為厲(li)矣(yi)。”言訖,與百(bai)(bai)姓(xing)(xing)辭訣,方去。其(qi)年旱成,百(bai)(bai)姓(xing)(xing)賴焉(yan)。
山(shan)人李洽(qia)(qia)。自都(dou)入(ru)京。行至(zhi)灞上,逢吏(li)(li)持帖(tie),云:“追洽(qia)(qia)。”洽(qia)(qia)視(shi)帖(tie),文(wen)字錯(cuo)亂,不(bu)可復識(shi)。謂吏(li)(li)曰(yue)(yue):“帖(tie)書乃以狼籍。”吏(li)(li)曰(yue)(yue):“此(ci)(ci)是(shi)(shi)閻(yan)羅王帖(tie)。”洽(qia)(qia)聞之悲泣(qi),請吏(li)(li)暫還,與(yu)家人別(bie)。吏(li)(li)與(yu)偕行過市,見諸肆中饋(kui)饌,吏(li)(li)視(shi)之久(jiu),洽(qia)(qia)問(wen)(wen):“君欲食乎?”曰(yue)(yue):“然。”乃將錢一千,隨其所欲即買(mai)。止得(de)(de)一味。與(yu)吏(li)(li)食畢,甚悅。謂洽(qia)(qia)曰(yue)(yue):“今可速(su)寫《金光(guang)明(ming)(ming)經(jing)(jing)》,或當得(de)(de)免。”洽(qia)(qia)至(zhi)家寫經(jing)(jing)畢,別(bie)家人,與(yu)吏(li)(li)去。行數十里,至(zhi)城(cheng)(cheng),壁宇峻(jun)嚴。因問(wen)(wen)此(ci)(ci)為(wei)何城(cheng)(cheng),吏(li)(li)云:“安祿山(shan)作亂,成(cheng)司恐賊越逸,故(gu)作此(ci)(ci)城(cheng)(cheng)以遏之。”又問(wen)(wen)城(cheng)(cheng)主為(wei)誰,曰(yue)(yue):“是(shi)(shi)鄔元昌。”洽(qia)(qia)素與(yu)城(cheng)(cheng)主有故(gu),請為(wei)通之。元昌召人,相見悲喜。須臾,有兵(bing)馬(ma)數十萬至(zhi)城(cheng)(cheng)而過,元昌留洽(qia)(qia)坐(zuo),出門(men)迎候。久(jiu)之乃回(hui),洽(qia)(qia)問(wen)(wen)此(ci)(ci)兵(bing)云何,曰(yue)(yue):“閻(yan)羅王往西京大安國寺(si)也。”既至(zhi)寺(si),登百(bai)尺高座。王將簿閱,云:“此(ci)(ci)人新(xin)造金光(guang)明(ming)(ming)經(jing)(jing),遂得(de)(de)延算,故(gu)未合死。”元昌嘆羨良久(jiu),令人送回(hui),因此(ci)(ci)得(de)(de)活。
《廣異記》內容(rong)宏大,各類神仙(xian)鬼(gui)怪故事幾乎(hu)皆有,對后世(shi)的文(wen)學(xue)創作有深遠影響,并給現代的神鬼(gui)類文(wen)學(xue)帶來(lai)了積極(ji)推動的作用。
開元(yuan)初,有(you)三(san)衛(wei)自京還(huan)青(qing)州。至(zhi)華岳(yue)廟前,見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)青(qing)衣婢,衣服故(gu)惡(e),來白云:“娘(niang)子欲(yu)(yu)(yu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)。”因(yin)引(yin)前行(xing)。遇見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)一婦人(ren)(ren)(ren),年十(shi)六七,容(rong)色慘悴(cui),曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):“己非人(ren)(ren)(ren),華岳(yue)第(di)三(san)新婦,夫婿極(ji)惡(e)。家(jia)在北(bei)海(hai),三(san)年無(wu)(wu)(wu)書(shu)(shu)信,以(yi)(yi)此(ci)尤為岳(yue)子所薄。聞(wen)君(jun)遠還(huan),欲(yu)(yu)(yu)以(yi)(yi)尺書(shu)(shu)仰(yang)累,若(ruo)能為達,家(jia)君(jun)當有(you)厚(hou)報(bao)。”遂以(yi)(yi)書(shu)(shu)付(fu)之(zhi)(zhi)。其人(ren)(ren)(ren)亦信士也,問:“北(bei)海(hai)于(yu)(yu)何所送之(zhi)(zhi)?”婦人(ren)(ren)(ren)云:“海(hai)池上第(di)二樹(shu),但扣(kou)之(zhi)(zhi),當有(you)應(ying)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)。”言(yan)(yan)訖訣去。及(ji)至(zhi)北(bei)海(hai),如言(yan)(yan)送書(shu)(shu)扣(kou)樹(shu)畢(bi),忽見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)朱門(men)在樹(shu)下,有(you)人(ren)(ren)(ren)從門(men)中受(shou)事。人(ren)(ren)(ren)以(yi)(yi)書(shu)(shu)付(fu)之(zhi)(zhi),入(ru)。頃之(zhi)(zhi),出(chu)(chu)云:“大(da)(da)王請客(ke)人(ren)(ren)(ren)。”隨(sui)行(xing)百(bai)(bai)余步(bu),后(hou)入(ru)一門(men),有(you)朱衣人(ren)(ren)(ren),長丈(zhang)余,左(zuo)(zuo)右(you)侍女(nv)(nv)數(shu)(shu)千百(bai)(bai)人(ren)(ren)(ren)。坐畢(bi),乃曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):“三(san)年不(bu)(bu)得女(nv)(nv)書(shu)(shu)。”讀書(shu)(shu)大(da)(da)怒,曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):“奴輩敢爾。”乃傳教(jiao)召(zhao)左(zuo)(zuo)右(you)虞候。須臾(yu)而至(zhi),悉(xi)長丈(zhang)余,巨頭大(da)(da)鼻,狀貌可惡(e)。令(ling)調兵五(wu)(wu)萬,至(zhi)十(shi)五(wu)(wu)日乃西(xi)伐華山(shan)(shan),無(wu)(wu)(wu)令(ling)不(bu)(bu)勝。二人(ren)(ren)(ren)受(shou)教(jiao)走出(chu)(chu),乃謂三(san)衛(wei)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):“無(wu)(wu)(wu)以(yi)(yi)上報(bao)。”命左(zuo)(zuo)右(you)取絹(juan)二疋贈使(shi)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)。三(san)衛(wei)不(bu)(bu)說,心(xin)怨二疋之(zhi)(zhi)少也。持別,朱衣人(ren)(ren)(ren)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):“兩絹(juan)得二萬貫,方(fang)可賣,慎(shen)無(wu)(wu)(wu)賤與人(ren)(ren)(ren)也。”三(san)衛(wei)既出(chu)(chu),欲(yu)(yu)(yu)驗其事,復往華陰。至(zhi)十(shi)五(wu)(wu)日,既暮(mu),遙見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)東(dong)方(fang)黑氣如蓋(gai)。稍稍西(xi)行(xing),雷震電掣,聲聞(wen)百(bai)(bai)里。須臾(yu),華山(shan)(shan)大(da)(da)風折樹(shu),自西(xi)吹云,云勢益壯。直至(zhi)華山(shan)(shan)。雷火喧薄,遍山(shan)(shan)涸赤,久之(zhi)(zhi)方(fang)罷。及(ji)明,山(shan)(shan)色焦黑,三(san)衛(wei)乃入(ru)京賣絹(juan),買者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)聞(wen)求二萬,莫不(bu)(bu)嗤駭,以(yi)(yi)為狂人(ren)(ren)(ren)。后(hou)數(shu)(shu)日,有(you)白馬丈(zhang)夫來買,直還(huan)二萬,不(bu)(bu)復躊躇,其錢先已(yi)鎖在西(xi)市。三(san)衛(wei)因(yin)問買所用,丈(zhang)夫曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):“今以(yi)(yi)渭川神(shen)嫁女(nv)(nv),用此(ci)贈遺(yi)。天下唯北(bei)海(hai)絹(juan)最佳,方(fang)欲(yu)(yu)(yu)令(ling)人(ren)(ren)(ren)往市,聞(wen)君(jun)賣北(bei)海(hai)絹(juan),故(gu)來爾。”三(san)衛(wei)得錢。數(shu)(shu)月,貨(huo)易(yi)畢(bi),東(dong)還(huan)青(qing)土。行(xing)至(zhi)華陰,復見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)前時(shi)(shi)青(qing)衣,云:“娘(niang)子故(gu)來謝恩(en)。”便見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)看(kan)蓋(gai)犢車(che)自山(shan)(shan)而下,左(zuo)(zuo)右(you)從者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)十(shi)余輩。既至(zhi)下車(che),亦是前時(shi)(shi)女(nv)(nv)郎。容(rong)服炳煥,流目清(qing)眄,迨不(bu)(bu)可識(shi)。見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)三(san)衛(wei),拜(bai)乃言(yan)(yan)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):“蒙君(jun)厚(hou)恩(en),遠報(bao)父(fu)母,自鬧戰之(zhi)(zhi)后(hou),恩(en)情頗(po)深,但愧無(wu)(wu)(wu)可仰(yang)報(bao)爾。然三(san)郎以(yi)(yi)君(jun)達書(shu)(shu)故(gu),移怒于(yu)(yu)君(jun)。今將五(wu)(wu)百(bai)(bai)兵,于(yu)(yu)潼關相候。君(jun)若(ruo)往,必為所害(hai),可且還(huan)京。不(bu)(bu)久大(da)(da)駕(jia)東(dong)幸,鬼(gui)神(shen)懼(ju)鼓(gu)(gu)(gu)車(che),君(jun)若(ruo)坐于(yu)(yu)鼓(gu)(gu)(gu)車(che),則無(wu)(wu)(wu)慮也。”言(yan)(yan)訖不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)。三(san)衛(wei)大(da)(da)懼(ju),實時(shi)(shi)還(huan)京。后(hou)數(shu)(shu)十(shi)日,會玄宗幸洛,乃以(yi)(yi)錢與鼓(gu)(gu)(gu)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),隨(sui)鼓(gu)(gu)(gu)車(che)出(chu)(chu)關,因(yin)得無(wu)(wu)(wu)憂。
唐,戴(dai)孚,譙(qiao)郡(今安徽亳州)人,生平事(shi)(shi)略不見(jian)史傳。據顧(gu)況(kuang)所作(zuo)《戴(dai)氏(shi)廣(guang)異記序》(《文苑英華》卷七(qi)百三十七(qi)),知戴(dai)孚于(yu)唐肅宗至(zhi)德二(757)年與顧(gu)況(kuang)同登進(jin)士第,任校書郎,終(zhong)于(yu)饒州錄事(shi)(shi)參軍,卒年五十七(qi)歲(sui)。此書大抵作(zuo)于(yu)大歷(li)(766~779)年間,作(zuo)者死(si)后(hou),由其子請顧(gu)況(kuang)為書作(zuo)序行世。
