拜倫(lun)（1788～1824）英國(guo)偉(wei)大(da)的(de)(de)積極浪漫主(zhu)(zhu)義作家，十九世(shi)紀上半葉歐(ou)洲最(zui)有影響的(de)(de)詩(shi)人之一(yi)。出生于倫(lun)敦(dun)破落的(de)(de)貴族(zu)家庭(ting)，10歲(sui)繼承男爵(jue)爵(jue)位(wei)。曾在哈(ha)羅中學和(he)劍橋大(da)學讀書(shu)，深受啟(qi)蒙主(zhu)(zhu)義的(de)(de)熏陶。成(cheng)年后(hou)反對專制壓迫，支持(chi)人民(min)革命(ming)(ming)的(de)(de)進步(bu)思想，成(cheng)為19世(shi)紀初歐(ou)洲革命(ming)(ming)運動中爭取民(min)主(zhu)(zhu)自由和(he)民(min)族(zu)解放的(de)(de)一(yi)名戰(zhan)士。

拜(bai)(bai)倫從學生時代(dai)開始寫詩，1812年(nian)發表的(de)《恰爾(er)(er)德(de)·哈羅爾(er)(er)德(de)游(you)記》（第(di)1、2章(zhang)）是他(ta)的(de)成名作(zuo)(zuo)。1816年(nian)，拜(bai)(bai)倫因私生活受到上流社會的(de)排斥，憤而(er)移(yi)居意大(da)利。在意大(da)利，他(ta)寫了(le)《恰爾(er)(er)德(de)·哈羅爾(er)(er)德(de)游(you)記》的(de)第(di)3、4兩章(zhang)（1817、1818年(nian)）。這部(bu)抒情敘(xu)事(shi)長詩和未完成的(de)巨著《唐(tang)璜(huang)》是他(ta)最著名的(de)代(dai)表作(zuo)(zuo)。
