辦學歷史悠(you)久,始于北(bei)宋治(zhi)平元(yuan)(yuan)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(公元(yuan)(yuan)1064年(nian)(nian)(nian))。校(xiao)址“古治(zhi)平園”,又名(ming)(ming)“東(dong)園”。清乾隆(long)二(er)十二(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(公元(yuan)(yuan)1757年(nian)(nian)(nian)),知府(fu)莊學和(he)將明朝(chao)知府(fu)張思聰創建(jian)于嘉靖四(si)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(公元(yuan)(yuan)1525年(nian)(nian)(nian))的錦(jin)屏書院遷(qian)入“東(dong)園”,清代(dai)末年(nian)(nian)(nian)更名(ming)(ming)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“保(bao)寧府(fu)公共學堂”,1912年(nian)(nian)(nian)改名(ming)(ming)為(wei)(wei)(wei)保(bao)屬(shu)聯中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),抗日戰爭(zheng)初(chu)期國(guo)立四(si)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)遷(qian)入,1946年(nian)(nian)(nian)國(guo)立四(si)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)撤銷(xiao)后,省(sheng)立閬(lang)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學遷(qian)此。1955年(nian)(nian)(nian)建(jian)為(wei)(wei)(wei)閬(lang)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)第一(yi)初(chu)級(ji)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學,1958建(jian)為(wei)(wei)(wei)完中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),六十年(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)更名(ming)(ming)為(wei)(wei)(wei)閬(lang)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)東(dong)風中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學校(xiao)。現(xian)為(wei)(wei)(wei)省(sheng)級(ji)示(shi)(shi)范高中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)、省(sheng)校(xiao)風示(shi)(shi)范校(xiao)、省(sheng)實驗教學示(shi)(shi)范校(xiao)、省(sheng)現(xian)代(dai)教育技術示(shi)(shi)范校(xiao)。
學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)現占地110余畝,自1996年實施總體規劃以來(lai),先后投(tou)資(zi)四千(qian)多萬元(yuan),建(jian)成(cheng)教(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)樓(lou)(lou)兩幢(chuang)、辦公樓(lou)(lou)一幢(chuang)、學(xue)(xue)生(sheng)食堂一幢(chuang)、學(xue)(xue)生(sheng)公寓(yu)兩幢(chuang)、教(jiao)(jiao)職工(gong)宿舍(she)七幢(chuang)、400米標(biao)準運動場、行政(zheng)辦公樓(lou)(lou)、科教(jiao)(jiao)樓(lou)(lou)、天文臺(tai)等(deng)。辦學(xue)(xue)條(tiao)件良好,教(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)設施齊備。
學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)自創辦(ban)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)教育(yu)(yu)(yu)以來(lai),為(wei)國(guo)家(jia)和民(min)(min)族培(pei)育(yu)(yu)(yu)了大(da)批(pi)優秀人(ren)才(cai),僅省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)部級以上(shang)(shang)領導和獲博士學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)位及教授職稱(cheng)以上(shang)(shang)的(de)專家(jia)就有300余人(ren)。原川大(da)教授張(zhang)鼎銘,西南民(min)(min)族學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)院黨委書記(ji)張(zhang)漢誠,美國(guo)共和黨終身參議員童(tong)道章,畫家(jia)哈瓊文(wen),原浙江省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)委書記(ji)、人(ren)大(da)主任李澤(ze)民(min)(min)及原四(si)川省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)長(chang)肖秧等(deng)(deng)均是學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)校(xiao)(xiao)友。新中(zhong)國(guo)成(cheng)(cheng)立以后,特別(bie)是改革開放以來(lai),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)在(zai)各級黨政(zheng)及社(she)會(hui)各界的(de)關心和支持下,發揚艱苦創業、敢為(wei)人(ren)先(xian)(xian)的(de)精神,內強管理、外樹形象,辦(ban)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)成(cheng)(cheng)績逐年(nian)攀(pan)升,為(wei)國(guo)家(jia)培(pei)養高、初(chu)中(zhong)畢業生(sheng)(sheng)50000余人(ren),為(wei)高校(xiao)(xiao)、中(zhong)等(deng)(deng)專業學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)輸(shu)送新生(sheng)(sheng)近萬(wan)人(ren),可(ke)(ke)謂“桃李滿天下”。學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)教育(yu)(yu)(yu)教學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)成(cheng)(cheng)績斐然,學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)先(xian)(xian)后獲南充市實(shi)驗(yan)教學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)一(yi)等(deng)(deng)獎(jiang),閬中(zhong)市高等(deng)(deng)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)招生(sheng)(sheng)工作(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)一(yi)等(deng)(deng)獎(jiang)2010年(nian)起學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)開展335教學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)模(mo)式,讓學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)們的(de)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)方式由傳統的(de)老師(shi)(shi)灌輸(shu)變成(cheng)(cheng)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)自己汲取知識(shi),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)在(zai)課(ke)堂上(shang)(shang)由傳統的(de)座法變成(cheng)(cheng)6人(ren)一(yi)小(xiao)組,課(ke)上(shang)(shang)可(ke)(ke)以積極(ji)討論,也可(ke)(ke)以由學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)擔任老師(shi)(shi)給老師(shi)(shi)和同學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)們講課(ke),讓學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)們學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)更積極(ji)。;被(bei)授予“南充地區勞動技術(shu)(shu)教育(yu)(yu)(yu)先(xian)(xian)進集體”、“閬中(zhong)市文(wen)明單(dan)位”、“德育(yu)(yu)(yu)工作(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)先(xian)(xian)進集體”、“最(zui)佳(jia)衛生(sheng)(sheng)單(dan)位”、“社(she)會(hui)治(zhi)安綜合(he)治(zhi)理模(mo)范(fan)單(dan)位”、“教育(yu)(yu)(yu)教學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)工作(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)先(xian)(xian)進集體”、“四(si)川省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)校(xiao)(xiao)風示(shi)范(fan)校(xiao)(xiao)”、“四(si)川省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)實(shi)驗(yan)教學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)示(shi)范(fan)校(xiao)(xiao)”、“四(si)川省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)現代(dai)教育(yu)(yu)(yu)技術(shu)(shu)示(shi)范(fan)校(xiao)(xiao)”等(deng)(deng)稱(cheng)號。省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)、地、市表彰;兩(liang)百余篇科研(學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)術(shu)(shu))論文(wen)在(zai)國(guo)家(jia)、省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)、市刊物發表。課(ke)題《城鎮學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)困生(sheng)(sheng)行(xing)為(wei)歸因與(yu)解困導學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)策略研究(jiu)》榮(rong)獲四(si)川省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)人(ren)民(min)(min)政(zheng)府三等(deng)(deng)獎(jiang)。
閬中東(dong)風中學(xue)校(xiao)堅持(chi)“三全(quan)(quan)”教育(yu)思想(xiang),堅持(chi)“質(zhi)量立校(xiao)、改革強校(xiao)、科研興校(xiao)”的辦學(xue)方略,牢(lao)記“學(xue)習、奮斗”校(xiao)訓,繼續(xu)發揚“艱苦奮斗,敢(gan)為人先”的精神,全(quan)(quan)面推行(xing)素質(zhi)教育(yu),充(chong)分發揮省級(ji)示范高中的示范作用,努力(li)提高教育(yu)教學(xue)質(zhi)量和(he)辦學(xue)效益。最終將學(xue)校(xiao)建成(cheng)巴蜀名校(xiao)。
截止(zhi)2019年,學校有特級(ji)(ji)教師(shi)(shi)、高級(ji)(ji)教師(shi)(shi)60人,中級(ji)(ji)教師(shi)(shi)80人,研修班結業13人。
