莆(pu)田第五中(zhong)學(xue)創辦(ban)(ban)于1924年(nian)(nian),當時(shi)的社(she)會賢達(da)選址(zhi)于城區中(zhong)心(今(jin)勝(sheng)利路中(zhong)段)的四賢祠,秉賢風育(yu)子(zi)弟,興辦(ban)(ban)了莆(pu)田公(gong)學(xue),2014年(nian)(nian)11月(yue)12日(ri)為建(jian)校(xiao)(xiao)90周年(nian)(nian)校(xiao)(xiao)慶日(ri)。其后幾(ji)經更名,1999年(nian)(nian)秋季高、初中(zhong)分離分設(she),高中(zhong)部喬遷至梅山校(xiao)(xiao)區,校(xiao)(xiao)名沿用(yong)莆(pu)田第五中(zhong)學(xue);2005年(nian)(nian)3月(yue)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)被確認為福建(jian)省一級達(da)標(biao)重點普通高中(zhong)。2011年(nian)(nian)7月(yue)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)搬遷至新校(xiao)(xiao)區,現址(zhi)位(wei)于市區鳳凰山(即南山)之麓,南湖之濱(bin),為莆(pu)田文脈所在(zai)。公(gong)元458年(nian)(nian),“南湖三(san)先(xian)生”鄭露與(yu)鄭莊、鄭淑二(er)弟在(zai)此地(di)筑“湖山書堂”,講(jiang)學(xue)授(shou)徒,開啟莆(pu)仙地(di)域乃至閩南地(di)區教育(yu)事業(ye)的發端。校(xiao)(xiao)園(yuan)占地(di)面(mian)積208畝(mu),建(jian)筑面(mian)積86681M2,校(xiao)(xiao)園(yuan)布(bu)局(ju)合理,規劃(hua)清(qing)晰(xi),各樓結(jie)構完整,功能齊全,設(she)備設(she)施(shi)先(xian)進(jin)。
學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)現(xian)有(you)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)工301名(ming),其中專(zhuan)任教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)270人(ren)(ren),高(gao)(gao)級(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)71人(ren)(ren),中級(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)112人(ren)(ren);中青(qing)年教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)中各(ge)級(ji)各(ge)類(lei)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)科(ke)(ke)(ke)帶(dai)頭(tou)人(ren)(ren)、骨干教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)、市(shi)領(ling)銜名(ming)師(shi)(shi)達126人(ren)(ren);年輕教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)分別畢業(ye)(ye)于北(bei)京大(da)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)、中國(guo)科(ke)(ke)(ke)技大(da)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)、北(bei)京師(shi)(shi)范(fan)大(da)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)等名(ming)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao),高(gao)(gao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)歷(li),高(gao)(gao)起點(dian);全(quan)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)擁有(you)研(yan)(yan)(yan)究(jiu)生學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)歷(li)的(de)(de)(de)有(you)59人(ren)(ren)。這是一支師(shi)(shi)德高(gao)(gao)尚、業(ye)(ye)務精良的(de)(de)(de)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)者(zhe)型專(zhuan)家(jia)型名(ming)師(shi)(shi)隊伍,在(zai)本地(di)發(fa)揮著示范(fan)、輻射、帶(dai)動的(de)(de)(de)積(ji)極(ji)作用,廣受學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生、同行和領(ling)導的(de)(de)(de)好評。我校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)牢固樹立“質量立校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao),科(ke)(ke)(ke)研(yan)(yan)(yan)興(xing)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”的(de)(de)(de)意識,不斷優化(hua)(hua)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)內教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)資源,創(chuang)新(xin)(xin)常態教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)研(yan)(yan)(yan),推(tui)行“校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)長點(dian)課制(zhi)”、創(chuang)新(xin)(xin)課例(li)研(yan)(yan)(yan)討制(zhi)、“導學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)案制(zhi)度”等教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)研(yan)(yan)(yan)制(zhi)度,取得(de)積(ji)極(ji)成(cheng)效(xiao)。市(shi)、區教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)主管(guan)多(duo)次在(zai)我校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)召(zhao)開現(xian)場會,觀摩研(yan)(yan)(yan)討推(tui)廣相關做法。學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)以提高(gao)(gao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)質量為(wei)重點(dian),強化(hua)(hua)課題研(yan)(yan)(yan)究(jiu),以課題帶(dai)動科(ke)(ke)(ke)研(yan)(yan)(yan),以科(ke)(ke)(ke)研(yan)(yan)(yan)促進(jin)課改,營(ying)造積(ji)極(ji)向(xiang)上的(de)(de)(de)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)園教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)科(ke)(ke)(ke)研(yan)(yan)(yan)氛圍(wei)。我校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)曾舉辦(ban)國(guo)家(jia)級(ji)課題《英語報(bao)刊閱讀輔助課堂教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)新(xin)(xin)模式的(de)(de)(de)研(yan)(yan)(yan)究(jiu)》、國(guo)家(jia)“十一五”課題“高(gao)(gao)效(xiao)讀寫”國(guo)家(jia)級(ji)經(jing)驗交(jiao)流會,受到各(ge)地(di)同行好評。我校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)參加(jia)各(ge)級(ji)各(ge)類(lei)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)技能大(da)賽屢創(chuang)佳績(ji),在(zai)莆(pu)田市(shi)前(qian)三屆教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)技能大(da)賽中,我校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)獲獎等級(ji)及人(ren)(ren)數(shu)均(jun)居全(quan)市(shi)第(di)二。學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)德育(yu)創(chuang)新(xin)(xin)形成(cheng)特色,實現(xian)主題班會課程化(hua)(hua)、家(jia)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)課程常態化(hua)(hua)、心(xin)理健康教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)特色化(hua)(hua)、學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生導師(shi)(shi)制(zhi)度化(hua)(hua)。

莆(pu)田(tian)(tian)小學(xue)(xue)(xue)堂, 創(chuang)辦(ban)于1924年(nian)(nian)(nian), 1936年(nian)(nian)(nian)撤銷, 1942年(nian)(nian)(nian)復校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)并改(gai)名(ming)為 私(si)立莆(pu)田(tian)(tian)中(zhong)(zhong)山(shan)(shan)中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue), 1956年(nian)(nian)(nian)莆(pu)田(tian)(tian)縣接管改(gai)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)名(ming)為莆(pu)田(tian)(tian)第(di)五(wu)中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue),1966年(nian)(nian)(nian)因文革停校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao), 1973年(nian)(nian)(nian)復校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao),1988年(nian)(nian)(nian)又更名(ming)為莆(pu)田(tian)(tian)中(zhong)(zhong)山(shan)(shan)中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)。1999年(nian)(nian)(nian)秋季高(gao)、初中(zhong)(zhong)分(fen)(fen)離分(fen)(fen)設(she),高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)部(bu)喬(qiao)遷 位(wei)于城廂區 梅山(shan)(shan)路的 前福(fu)建(jian)(jian)(jian)高(gao)級(ji)婦幼衛生(sheng)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao) 的地(di)方(福(fu)建(jian)(jian)(jian)高(gao)級(ji)婦幼衛生(sheng)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)后改(gai)制為福(fu)建(jian)(jian)(jian)醫科大(da)學(xue)(xue)(xue)莆(pu)田(tian)(tian)分(fen)(fen)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)、福(fu)建(jian)(jian)(jian)莆(pu)田(tian)(tian)學(xue)(xue)(xue)院(yuan)醫學(xue)(xue)(xue)部(bu))新址, 校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)名(ming)沿用莆(pu)田(tian)(tian)第(di)五(wu)中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue),初中(zhong)(zhong)部(bu) 改(gai)為私(si)立中(zhong)(zhong)山(shan)(shan)中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue) , 2005年(nian)(nian)(nian)3月(yue)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)被確認為福(fu)建(jian)(jian)(jian)省普通中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)一級(ji)達標學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。建(jian)(jian)(jian)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)以來,學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)的教育教學(xue)(xue)(xue)成績顯著,英才輩出(chu),在社會上贏得(de)了贊譽。 學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)的事(shi)業不斷發(fa)展,學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)的規模不斷擴大(da)。
