因山(shan)形(xing)似一(yi)頭俯臥的(de)(de)(de)(de)獅(shi)(shi)子(zi)而得(de)名。山(shan)體(ti)南北走(zou)向,與烏蒙(meng)山(shan)遙遙相望。山(shan)頂(ding)(ding)平(ping)闊,由南向北緩(huan)緩(huan)下(xia)斜,山(shan)頂(ding)(ding)四周(zhou)是百余米(mi)(mi)(mi)高的(de)(de)(de)(de)陡(dou)峭懸(xuan)(xuan)崖,懸(xuan)(xuan)崖之(zhi)下(xia),是一(yi)片緩(huan)沖坡地(di)。獅(shi)(shi)子(zi)山(shan)頂(ding)(ding)海拔(ba)2419.8米(mi)(mi)(mi),山(shan)腳(jiao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)武定縣城海拔(ba)1740米(mi)(mi)(mi),高差679.8米(mi)(mi)(mi)。風景(jing)區(qu)(qu)總(zong)面積13.6平(ping)方千(qian)米(mi)(mi)(mi),整個(ge)風景(jing)區(qu)(qu)由古(gu)(gu)(gu)剎景(jing)區(qu)(qu),懸(xuan)(xuan)巖景(jing)區(qu)(qu)、林海景(jing)區(qu)(qu)組(zu)成,共36個(ge)景(jing)區(qu)(qu)。獅(shi)(shi)子(zi)山(shan)風景(jing)區(qu)(qu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)入(ru)口處為(wei)(wei)古(gu)(gu)(gu)剎景(jing)區(qu)(qu),以(yi)正(zheng)(zheng)續(xu)禪(chan)為(wei)(wei)中心,周(zhou)圍元、明、清各(ge)時期的(de)(de)(de)(de)古(gu)(gu)(gu)跡(ji)甚多(duo),森(sen)林茂密(mi),古(gu)(gu)(gu)木參(can)天。古(gu)(gu)(gu)剎景(jing)區(qu)(qu)共有(you)(you)景(jing)點11個(ge),其中以(yi)正(zheng)(zheng)續(xu)禪(chan)寺(si)(si)為(wei)(wei)勝景(jing)。正(zheng)(zheng)續(xu)禪(chan)寺(si)(si)已(yi)有(you)(you)670多(duo)年的(de)(de)(de)(de)歷(li)史,經過歷(li)代修復擴(kuo)建,現占地(di)17萬(wan)平(ping)方米(mi)(mi)(mi),有(you)(you)殿(dian)(dian)宇(yu)亭閣110多(duo)間(jian)。建筑依山(shan)就(jiu)勢,布局嚴謹(jin)。大雄寶(bao)殿(dian)(dian)是禪(chan)寺(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)(de)主體(ti)建筑,為(wei)(wei)五(wu)檐歇山(shan)頂(ding)(ding)式土木結構,建筑面積454平(ping)方米(mi)(mi)(mi),大殿(dian)(dian)南北各(ge)有(you)(you)3間(jian)樓(lou)房陪殿(dian)(dian)。北側(ce)的(de)(de)(de)(de)方丈室,獨立成院,古(gu)(gu)(gu)雅(ya)清幽,春季牡丹盛開,金秋丹桂飄香。正(zheng)(zheng)續(xu)禪(chan)寺(si)(si)后(hou)面的(de)(de)(de)(de)懸(xuan)(xuan)巖景(jing)區(qu)(qu),是一(yi)條南北走(zou)向長3千(qian)米(mi)(mi)(mi)、高100多(duo)米(mi)(mi)(mi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)石壁(bi)(bi),形(xing)成一(yi)道(dao)巨大的(de)(de)(de)(de)臺階,地(di)勢十(shi)分險峻,只(zhi)有(you)(you)幾處攀援(yuan)登上(shang)(shang)山(shan)頂(ding)(ding)。在這(zhe)條石壁(bi)(bi)上(shang)(shang),有(you)(you)上(shang)(shang)倚絕壁(bi)(bi)下(xia)臨深(shen)谷(gu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)僅容1人(ren)(ren)通過的(de)(de)(de)(de)鳥道(dao)天梯、有(you)(you)抬(tai)頭只(zhi)見(jian)一(yi)線天的(de)(de)(de)(de)深(shen)淵、有(you)(you)奇形(xing)怪狀似人(ren)(ren)似獸的(de)(de)(de)(de)奇巖怪石、有(you)(you)依巖就(jiu)勢修建的(de)(de)(de)(de)飛閣懸(xuan)(xuan)亭、云(yun)橋棧(zhan)道(dao),還有(you)(you)巖洞石室、飛泉瀑布、老(lao)樹古(gu)(gu)(gu)藤,自(zi)然景(jing)觀十(shi)分豐富。詩人(ren)(ren)王心鑒游覽后(hou)有(you)(you)詩贊(zan)曰:竹(zhu)林古(gu)(gu)(gu)寺(si)(si)竹(zhu)聲喧,翠云(yun)掩(yan)映獅(shi)(shi)子(zi)山(shan)。千(qian)頃(qing)福田結如意,萬(wan)竿修筠(yun)報(bao)平(ping)安。云(yun)卷云(yun)舒慈悲國,人(ren)(ren)往人(ren)(ren)來菩提園(yuan)。無上(shang)(shang)清涼悟(wu)大道(dao),種竹(zhu)原(yuan)本是參(can)禪(chan)。
傳說
據傳獅子山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)最早不像一(yi)只獅子,也不叫獅子山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),而(er)(er)叫"通(tong)(tong)天山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)"。通(tong)(tong)天山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),高聳人(ren)云,直(zhi)(zhi)達(da)天庭,世人(ren)得知(zhi)此山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)能通(tong)(tong)天庭,于是,有些(xie)想到(dao)(dao)天堂過(guo)神仙(xian)日子的人(ren),便沿著這(zhe)座山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)涌向天庭。玉皇大帝(di)得知(zhi)凡(fan)人(ren)來到(dao)(dao)天上,便命(ming)太白金(jin)星前(qian)去(qu)追查這(zhe)些(xie)人(ren)究竟從何(he)路而(er)(er)來?當得知(zhi)通(tong)(tong)天山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)這(zhe)條直(zhi)(zhi)通(tong)(tong)天庭的道路時,玉皇大帝(di)即命(ming)雷公速(su)將通(tong)(tong)天山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)劈(pi)斷。
雷(lei)公得令,立刻(ke)來(lai)到通(tong)天(tian)(tian)山(shan)的上(shang)空,揮動(dong)錘楔,用力一(yi)擊,只聽一(yi)聲霹靂,通(tong)天(tian)(tian)山(shan)被(bei)攔(lan)腰砍(kan)斷(duan),山(shan)頂形(xing)成一(yi)個大平臺(tai),平臺(tai)邊緣形(xing)成了百丈懸崖。從此,通(tong)天(tian)(tian)山(shan),再也(ye)通(tong)不了天(tian)(tian),人也(ye)不能上(shang)天(tian)(tian)了。但人們都不知道(dao)是(shi)誰將山(shan)劈(pi)(pi)斷(duan),于是(shi)便把通(tong)天(tian)(tian)山(shan)改稱為(wei)"誰劈(pi)(pi)峰"。
又不知(zhi)過(guo)了多(duo)少(shao)年,有九(jiu)十九(jiu)條白(bai)龍云(yun)游到"誰劈峰",看見這些山(shan)清水(shui)秀,奇(qi)峰異境,留戀不愿離去,便在(zai)山(shan)下住(zhu)了下來。從此"誰劈峰"的(de)四周流出九(jiu)十九(jiu)股泉水(shui),滋潤著武(wu)定壩子(zi),造福于(yu)人類。人們為(wei)感謝白(bai)龍,就在(zai)山(shan)上建(jian)了一座(zuo)白(bai)龍庵,終年祭祀。于(yu)是又將誰劈峰改名(ming)為(wei)白(bai)龍山(shan)。
又不知(zhi)過了(le)多(duo)少(shao)年,有一頭雄(xiong)獅來到(dao)(dao)白龍(long)(long)山,見到(dao)(dao)山勢雄(xiong)偉,水豐林茂,也想在(zai)此定居,便(bian)與白龍(long)(long)爭奪此山。雙方展開了(le)一場生死搏斗,獅吼龍(long)(long)嘯,飛沙(sha)走石,狂(kuang)風暴雨,地(di)動山搖,難(nan)分難(nan)解。經過九九八十一個晝(zhou)夜的(de)激戰(zhan),白龍(long)(long)戰(zhan)敗而逃。有兩條逃往祿勸方向(xiang)住下(xia)(xia)(xia),據(ju)(ju)說就是(shi)祿勸境內的(de)二龍(long)(long)山。有二龍(long)(long)因(yin)負重傷,不能同其他白龍(long)(long)一齊(qi)逃走,便(bian)落在(zai)山腳下(xia)(xia)(xia),據(ju)(ju)稱是(shi)現在(zai)的(de)白龍(long)(long)箐,其余白龍(long)(long)逃到(dao)(dao)對面的(de)東山潛伏下(xia)(xia)(xia)來。
潛伏在東(dong)山的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)白(bai)龍,不(bu)甘心(xin)失敗,千方(fang)百計(ji)總想(xiang)尋機報仇(chou)(chou),收(shou)復被獅(shi)(shi)(shi)子搶占的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)領土。但(dan)他們知道(dao)憑武(wu)力(li)斗不(bu)過獅(shi)(shi)(shi)子,于(yu)是便(bian)把東(dong)山慢慢地(di)向(xiang)上拱起,想(xiang)堵(du)住武(wu)定壩(ba)子的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)出(chu)水(shui),用積水(shui)淹(yan)沒獅(shi)(shi)(shi)子。武(wu)定人民看(kan)到東(dong)山慢慢長高,再(zai)往上長便(bian)會堵(du)住武(wu)定壩(ba)子的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)出(chu)水(shui)口,只好(hao)在東(dong)山頂上建(jian)了一座(zuo)白(bai)塔(ta),鎮(zhen)住東(dong)山再(zai)長,這白(bai)塔(ta)現(xian)在還在巍然(ran)屹立東(dong)山之巔。而獅(shi)(shi)(shi)子也(ye)時刻防備白(bai)龍反撲(pu)報仇(chou)(chou),便(bian)伸出(chu)前(qian)爪,昂頭弓背伏臥在東(dong)山對面,準(zhun)備隨時出(chu)擊白(bai)龍的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)反撲(pu),就成了現(xian)在的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)臥獅(shi)(shi)(shi)。這神奇(qi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)說,更使獅(shi)(shi)(shi)子山充滿誘(you)人的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)色彩……在許許多(duo)(duo)多(duo)(duo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)傳(chuan)說故事中,有關明朝建(jian)文帝削(xue)發(fa)為(wei)僧,來獅(shi)(shi)(shi)子山當和尚(shang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)神奇(qi)故事,在武(wu)定壩(ba)子里更是家喻戶曉,婦孺(ru)皆知,情節生動感人,"鉤擔戳出(chu)月牙(ya)潭(tan)",便(bian)是眾多(duo)(duo)傳(chuan)說之一。
歷史
跨進獅山(shan)之間,在(zai)茂密的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)常(chang)綠(lv)闊葉(xie)林中,迎(ying)面便是一座(zuo)森嚴而(er)壯觀(guan)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)佛寺(si)(si),現名正(zheng)續(xu)禪寺(si)(si)。正(zheng)續(xu)禪寺(si)(si)建(jian)于元代(dai)至大四年(nian)(nian)(公元1331年(nian)(nian))是為(wei)正(zheng)寺(si)(si);后(hou)經印度名僧指空擴(kuo)建(jian),是為(wei)續(xu)寺(si)(si)。 寺(si)(si)內(nei)大雄寶(bao)殿雄偉,周圍的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)庭院以及樓(lou)(lou)臺亭閣布局巧(qiao)妙(miao),工藝(yi)精(jing)湛(zhan),遍布于其間的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)各種碑刻、楹聯出自歷代(dai)名家之手,有(you)著豐(feng)富的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)文(wen)化內(nei)涵。在(zai)大雄寶(bao)殿前,生長著數株古(gu)松(song)柏,據說也有(you)上千(qian)年(nian)(nian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)歷史(shi)(shi),為(wei)這座(zuo)古(gu)剎(cha)增添(tian)了神秘的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)色彩(cai)。正(zheng)續(xu)禪寺(si)(si)后(hou)面的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)藏經樓(lou)(lou),依山(shan)而(er)起(qi),幾(ji)乎與獅山(shan)主峰融為(wei)一體。樓(lou)(lou)下的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)祠閣所供的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)是建(jian)文(wen)皇帝座(zuo)前的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)木柱繪有(you)金(jin)燦燦的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)天龍這一作為(wei)寺(si)(si)院組成部分的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)皇帝祠閣,喚起(qi)人們(men)對(dui)歷史(shi)(shi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)記憶。
寺內大雄寶殿的柱子(zi)上,則有這樣一副楹(ying)聯:“僧(seng)(seng)為(wei)帝(di)(di),帝(di)(di)亦為(wei)僧(seng)(seng),數十載衣(yi)缽相傳(chuan),正覺(jue)依(yi)然(ran)皇覺(jue)舊;叔(shu)負侄,侄不(bu)負叔(shu),八千(qian)里芒鞋徒步,獅山更比燕(yan)山高。”聯內所(suo)說(shuo)(shuo)的皇覺(jue)寺,指朱(zhu)(zhu)元璋早年(nian)為(wei)僧(seng)(seng)之所(suo);“叔(shu)負侄”指朱(zhu)(zhu)棣篡奪了侄兒(er)朱(zhu)(zhu)允炆的帝(di)(di)位(wei)。顯然(ran),作此聯的古(gu)人堅信朱(zhu)(zhu)允炆曾(ceng)在(zai)此為(wei)僧(seng)(seng),并寄以同情(qing)。聯中“衣(yi)缽相傳(chuan)”語(yu),概(gai)括(kuo)了祖父朱(zhu)(zhu)元璋由僧(seng)(seng)為(wei)帝(di)(di),孫子(zi)朱(zhu)(zhu)允炆由帝(di)(di)為(wei)僧(seng)(seng)的滄桑(sang)巨變,構(gou)思精奇(qi),說(shuo)(shuo)盡了這段千(qian)古(gu)巧合的無情(qing)史(shi)實!
