六峰(feng)(feng)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)拔(ba)地(di)(di)橫空,氣勢磅礴(bo),峰(feng)(feng)巒嵯峨,古(gu)(gu)稱(cheng)石六山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),有(you)“半巫山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)”之(zhi)稱(cheng)。自古(gu)(gu)以(yi)(yi)來登覽(lan)只(zhi)有(you)南麓“山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)門”一石徑。瘦石倚(yi)城留云,谷幽(you)(you)樹古(gu)(gu)霧攢,古(gu)(gu)剎(cha)新(xin)亭(ting)兩生(sheng)輝,山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)花(hua)含笑(xiao)向人(ren)迎。宋(song)明至今,一直(zhi)被(bei)視為“人(ren)寰勝地(di)(di)”,當代著名畫家黃獨峰(feng)(feng)生(sheng)前千(qian)贊譽其有(you)黃山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)風韻。花(hua)石山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)、鳳凰山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)和(he)翠壁峰(feng)(feng),與六峰(feng)(feng)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)一脈(mo)相承,錯落(luo)分別(bie)(bie),各呈俏容,從飛機上往下看,約(yue)略類似夏夜星(xing)空中的北斗。在古(gu)(gu)、近代地(di)(di)方政治(zhi)、軍事(shi)、文化、人(ren)文風俗和(he)旅(lv)游史(shi)中,占有(you)非常重要的席(xi)位。六峰(feng)(feng)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)唐宋(song)時期石六寨,宋(song)朝靈(ling)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)縣治(zhi)、靈(ling)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)學宮所(suo)在地(di)(di);花(hua)石山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)五(wu)彩瑰(gui)麗的靈(ling)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)花(hua)石,明朝時曾定為貢品;翠壁峰(feng)(feng)空鏡巖(yan)內有(you)抗日名將(jiang)蔡廷(ting)鍇當年“振旅(lv)巖(yan)疆”的遺墨;鳳凰山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)根(gen)的三(san)海巖(yan)素稱(cheng)“粵西勝境(jing)”,“一巖(yan)三(san)海洞天開,鬼斧(fu)神工別(bie)(bie)有(you)緣”,更以(yi)(yi)幽(you)(you)洞、鐘乳(ru)和(he)摩崖石刻三(san)絕(jue)引人(ren)入勝。
北帝(di)(di)(di)廟的(de)神像(北帝(di)(di)(di))是(shi)與山(shan)(shan)體連成一(yi)體的(de)天然石(shi)(shi)塊雕(diao)成,腳(jiao)下踏(ta)(ta)著一(yi)只龜(gui)和一(yi)條蛇(she)(she)(she)。據(ju)傳說,原來,北帝(di)(di)(di)在未成仙(xian)之(zhi)(zhi)前,在武當山(shan)(shan)修煉(lian),始終(zhong)沒有得道(dao),但他堅(jian)持修煉(lian),終(zhong)于(yu)(yu)感動神靈,授(shou)他妙計并助他成功,讓北帝(di)(di)(di)摘下五臟(zang)六腑(fu)(fu),用(yong)仙(xian)帶(dai)填(tian)入,北帝(di)(di)(di)即得金(jin)身成仙(xian),北帝(di)(di)(di)將(jiang)自己的(de)五臟(zang)六腑(fu)(fu)埋于(yu)(yu)一(yi)大石(shi)(shi)下,不料,千日(ri)之(zhi)(zhi)后,五臟(zang)六腑(fu)(fu)竟化作龜(gui)蛇(she)(she)(she)兩(liang)妖(yao),分別長(chang)于(yu)(yu)水火(huo)(huo),下凡(fan)危害百姓,百姓處(chu)于(yu)(yu)水深火(huo)(huo)熱之(zhi)(zhi)中(zhong),只好祈求北帝(di)(di)(di)顯靈解難,起初北帝(di)(di)(di)不知妖(yao)怪(guai)來由,為(wei)(wei)除(chu)妖(yao)下到凡(fan)間,將(jiang)兩(liang)妖(yao)擒住,才發(fa)現(xian)妖(yao)怪(guai)乃自己內臟(zang)所化,又念(nian)其修煉(lian)不易,不忍將(jiang)其毀掉,遂(sui)收為(wei)(wei)手下,又恐其溜走,就用(yong)腳(jiao)踩住,這就是(shi)北帝(di)(di)(di)腳(jiao)踏(ta)(ta)龜(gui)蛇(she)(she)(she)的(de)來由。另(ling)外(wai),觀音(yin)(yin)閣也是(shi)善(shan)男信女常年朝拜圣殿。每年的(de)觀音(yin)(yin)旦,遠道(dao)而來的(de)香(xiang)客紛紛登(deng)山(shan)(shan)跪拜,香(xiang)火(huo)(huo)不斷。
大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶(bao)殿(dian),建(jian)于明朝正德年間(jian),以前(qian)雕有關(guan)公、岳飛石塑,但(dan)文革期間(jian)遭到了嚴重破壞,現(xian)在(zai)(zai)已經修建(jian)了,這次修建(jian),在(zai)(zai)恢復原來的格局外,還運用(yong)現(xian)代技術,使(shi)神像變得聲(sheng)形(xing)并茂。大(da)(da)佛堂,是幾年前(qian)建(jian)成的,雖然建(jian)造(zao)時(shi)間(jian)長,但(dan)香(xiang)火(huo)極旺(wang)。大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶(bao)殿(dian)于2004年9月由釋(shi)昌一法師主(zhu)持動工(gong)興建(jian),2005年10月5日(ri)建(jian)成并“開光”投(tou)入使(shi)用(yong),其建(jian)造(zao)時(shi)間(jian)雖不長,香(xiang)火(huo)卻極旺(wang),已經成為善男信(xin)女朝拜的圣殿(dian)。
